G-corp, the largest and most powerful Tech source of Gaia (after the G.i.B but... they don't exist, right?). Home of many secret experimens which have been progress and doom at the same time.
In the sky, a signal, a mechanical being descends. Soon, the alarm is given - a terrible setup is upon them.
With such facilities riddled with machinery that would probably blow the whole city, both Barton and Aekea, only time can decide werther one is to be doomed or not.

And among them... a sign - Heaven is no longer on our side. .

Within the chaos of the lab, a man cautiously but serenely passed among the masses of disturbed or rather scared people, dodging demons that would come from the walls, the ceilings, the floor. Any kind of imaginable place, invaded by the same bots they helped create.
He sighed, such dissaster could be easily prevented, but what could he say? It is within human characteristics the 'hability' to err.
His gaze covered by some fine reading glasses, while the labcoat surrounded his slender figure. His pale skin barely reflecting the emergency ligths that had gone on, and an eerie shine that wanned upon his trimmed short hair, though, his bangels would still hang out, memoir of a perhaps longer cut.

Using a card he had swipped from a desk, he pressed the keypad and opened the gates of the 'Subsector Theta' where the most secretive weapons where made. A slight smirk decorated his features, simply arranging his glasses before entering, shutting the door closed. All while the screams of his lab-coated companions continued to fill the area. They had no idea of what would come next.

The facility..at least the area where the disturbance was showing on TV, had a visual area she focused on. Koudelka's hand had reached backward to the impossibly large obsidian sword-cross object on her back. What she'd done was unknown as she hadn't even said a word. She'd simply vanished. When she reappeared, one hand slid to her side, and reached into a pouch at her side. What did she pull from it? A small white rectangular device with a wire. The wire went to her ear. Yep. She had an MP3 player. Hey, a girl needed her music when walking into a troublesome situation. Deft hands twirled a pair of daggers that were made of some kind of pale turquoise material. Grand Light Daggers.

She grinned as her song randomizer turned on VNV Nation's 'Joy'. Beautiful. The cloak she wore simply dropped off of her body, revealing the mix of leather and lace she wore. It was a combat outfit for rogues. It hugged all the right curves, and had a nice floral scheme around the neckline and wrists. This feeling was what she missed. She didn't know when she'd felt it before, but her body told her she had. That surge of adrenaline when facing the unknown. Power surged through her body, and she smiled as her eyes opened. Her work was never done. And this was her battlefield. In situations like this, she was home.

"What the. .. " the mysterious girl had vanished from his view at the LOL warehouse, him blinking in wonder. "Tch. . ."

The news went on, G-corp, monsters, things. .. chaos.
Kiga knew just well what to do.

"Pack your stuff kiddies. .. we are headed towards G-corp"

With that, he raised his hand

"MK ARMOR! UNLEASH THE GUST!"

~Tracker/Safari Armor install and Execute~

A swirl of wind was summoned in his place, making him slowly untangible, even. .. like the wind itself invisible, all before he was cloaked in a mantle similar of a reaper. The Tracker armor. Usually donned while doing mischief, this time, was for quicker movement.

"I suggest you find ways to catch up with me. .. for I won't stop. .. at least she didn't either. . ." his voice was slightly haunting, all while holding that eerie glowing staff of his. With that, he floated away in the direction of G-corp

ACCESS ACCEPTED - CLEARANCE LEVEL 0

Entering the facility which had 3 door levels was, not hard, but annoying. Something he would easily had avoided would have he been 'impolite' and acted with child-like impulses, toppling the doors down. But he knew very well to control his temper, specially on a mission like this. Furthermore, it was about enjoying the thrill and adventure, something he had not been able to do for quite some months. For within his mind, that specific part had been blocked, and heaven knows why today could he actually feel and enjoy his actions.
Lousy boss. . .

A jolt went into his brain, making him arch his back slightly, the lab coat flickering within existence and fiction, same as basically all his appearance. It was a small transition, as he remained as calm and cold as before, looking at the front with cold eyes.

"No need for such thoughts. . .just do your job. . . thoughts are useless anyways. . ."

He decided no longer to use the keycard and, perhaps due concealed frustration, he let a blast from his left palm open the last door stopping him from his mission: a secret weapon stashed away by the Gambinos. Foolish ignorant humans. What good is a weapon if you don't use it? What good is it anyways? And his boss wasn't anything better either. . . resting and waiting for god knows what.

Again, the jolt in his mind, the flickering turning much more subsistent until, for a moment though, he felt his mind numb, soul re-imprisoned, will gone. But perhaps it was a figment of his imagination, as all was restored in a minute.

". . .just do your job. . .focus. . ."

The weapon up front, something that could be comparable with a typical Aekean' mecha, was lying there in the central dome that surrounded it. Silent as the room itself.
He walked to it, passing his cold pale hand around it's frame, appreciating the sensation he now felt alien to him.

". . .focus. . ."

Looking at it, loosing the sudden interest, he took from his labcoat a simple blob of blue-metallic material. It shone like a little christmas lightbulb, but felt like putty. He approached the material to the sleeping mecha, infusing it with it until it started absorbing it.

". . .it'll all be over soon . . ."

There was a lot of interference here. Synaptic static. She had a bad feeling about this whole thing, and it showed in her eyes. It wasn't fear. Fear was an archaic thing. But still, fear was also a catalyst to greater power. She wasn't a machine like her supposed opponents were. She felt, and she was alive, but she was far from normal. She wondered, to herself mostly, what path fate would choose for her music player next. Yeah, that's really what was passing through her head. She didn't bother to worry about what might be in the facility. Or what she might see inside. Why? She'd seen worse. She couldn't remember seeing worse, but a little voice in the back of her head told her she'd seen worse. Besides. Knowing secret science orginizations, it was probably going to be something like Resident Evil.

She expected zombies. Or robots. Or robot zombies. No, that was just weird. What was down there had a terribly ominous feeling to it. She'd felt that feeling before. Her body told her she had, even if she couldn't remember it. The body remembers, someone once told her. She sighed. Even with her music in her ear, she couldn't focus. A tiny burst to her player, and a more fitting song. Where Good Girls Go To Die, by London After Midnight. She smirked. Better. It was her alone. That's what was meant to be. She didn't play well with others. A gesture, a ripple, and a shudder, and the way topside opened. Inside the facility she went. She'd have to start from the beginning, but she'd see what all the fuss was about.

Luna stood up, casting the spell Areo, which lifted her and Lena, off the air, to follow Kiga. She also casted it on people that didn't have a ride there and the easiest way to travel, was by magic, that's what Luna and Lena thought anyway.

With The LoL Bunch

She'd arrived back with the group and rejoined them mere moments before they'd taken off, making use of the Areo spell cast by Luna, floating beside the group, her sandals held in one hand. Better than, then smacking someone in the face with a flying shoe as she went by them. While comical, it wouldn't serve a purpose. Unless of course you could count that as combat. Combat flip-flops. That was most certainly an idea.

Deep Inside G-Corp

At first glance, the pale figure looked a bit like a Von Helson. Unnatural. Inhuman. Long black hair swept back from his face into a single long red ribbon at the nape of his neck, and startlingly vivid eyes, a deep shade of purple. His clothing was from a different era, long black breeches that laced up the front, a long sleeved white shirt, split open to the waist, a well muscled, but not bulky chest, beneath it.

An intricate cross hung from a chain on his throat, surrounded in it's setting by tiny roses, ruby, diamond, sapphire and emerald in all. Black gloves covered slender hands, and long supple leather boots laced up his legs just below his knees. An ordinary looking sword was belted as his hip, and a dagger rested on the opposite side of the belt, which was slung low across his hips.

Where he stood, it would be difficult for even trained eyes to follow him, his form blending seamlessly into the shadows that surrounded him between the dangling lights above. So long as he remained still, he practically melted into the darkness. When he heard movement down the corridors, he tipped his head just slightly, black hair sliding every so minutely to reveal the tips of pointed, elfin ears.

"Technology. Hmf." His voice was soft, smooth, like the rustling of silk, and one gloved hand pressed behind him against the wall, easing him away from it. "What do you seek here, I wonder, my lovely songbird?" He smiled, and it was a cold, almost cruel expression. "How much longer will you wander from your gilded cage?"

Upon arriving, Kiga switched back into his 'usual' Armor and broke the door that had been toppled down by what ever the hell had entered for the moment, eyes locked on his surroundings, moving in a quick dash into the facility, barely even noticing that Luna and Lena . . .and that other girl whose name escaped. . . had actually gotten behind him. Pitty await those who await. . .

"Even though this place is riled" he thought, hammer on hand ready to pound anything on sight "It's not as devastated as I thought or announced on the news . . . That Cindy something will have to be one of the lousiest news Anchors I've heard. . . I miss Bruce. . ."

Then again, what was that . . .crawling on the ceiling?
He smile, pounding the nearest wall to create a shock that would throw the 'spider-like' bot, who was hanging upside down' to the floor. Little did he know that spiders have many children of their own.
His eyes widened, specifically after he threw 'mommy spider' down, a chute opened where she used to be before, freeing many tiny little bots of the same kind. What the. . .breeding for bots? This was ridiculous. . .but he had little time: they seemed to be about to eat him. Go time.

"MK-armor, unleash the flare!"

Raising his bracelet again, his armor burned, so did himself, but of course, this was a change of appearance: the Flame armor was active.

"Come and get me creeps. . . " he taunted, they, being obedient to show their razor-like fangs, jumping towards him.

Koudelka simply let Kiga shoot ahead, not caring who went in first. She'd gotten there first, but it was irrelevant. She placed her arms inside the large sleeves of her cloak, and watched Kiga work. If his armor and that woman's were really much the same, it would pay to observe his fighting style and abilities. In this fashion, she would know how to fight the one she had to save, to weaken the power of the enemy device. Technology. How she hated it. Oh, she loved her mp3 player. To spread music was a joy. But most other technology bothered her. Weapons technology, especially. So wasteful. Cities, too. She was happier in the wilderness, in the wilds.

She watched as the spider-bot and its babies moved with surprising accuracy akin to living things. She murmured softly as she watched the goings on..

"Living..machines?"

Someone was creating unnatural things here. It was up to her to stop it. She walked behind Kiga, more than assured he could handle himself. A single step near his own form, and with a woosh of air, she was gone again, a teleport-jump to about twenty yards ahead of him, far behind the 'spider' and its 'children'. She didn't even turn around, but she spoke, and her voice carried as she walked, her heeled boots clacking along the nice floors.

"I'm moving ahead. Your angry lover and her pure companion can support you. I work better alone."

She went deeper into the facility as she walked, down into the hallways. No doubt she'd run into a few snags of her own. But she wasn't too worried. No thing created by mortal man would stand against the power given by the old gods. Devices with no soul, against the Words of Power? Laughable. Even with their lifelike movements and thought, they had no souls. She sensed nothing. Every machine would die here. She had no tolerance for those that sold their soul to science. Kiga's armor was..the most sentient machine she'd come across, and it was almost like a living symbiotic crystal. She couldn't despise it quite as much. She could tolerate it, at least. Besides. It helped him save lives, even if he was..a bit misguided. Machines like these here..weapons of war, or created to let humans live in pointless luxury..they were sins. They would be destroyed.

Kiga nodded, as this girl went away. She could handle things on her own, he knew, a quick thinker. . .maybe she wasn't that bad after all.
Not to mention, he was on fire. . .literarely.
Smirking at the mention of Luna and Lena, he raised his arm and proclaimed an attack in his alien language, a firebolt surging from his palms and bolting directly towards the main spider. However, this was protected by the other 'babies', melting at touch, vanishing with a horrid 'squee', just like real anoying spiders.

He was going to have quite a lot of fun, but that would probably wear him a lot: more spiders from the shute, down down down down. . . Either it had 'reproduced' many, or. . .if his logic was correct, he had to kill the core. That annoying 'mother' spider.

"Luna, Lena. . .I think I'll need some help in here. . ." he commanded, his arms flickering with flames, hair rising as he summoned more bolts to battle. Man, this whole thing was annoying. . .

She did almost feel a hair guilty. Those girls, even if they were combat ready and skilled, she did say she'd help these people as long as they let her do things her way. Koudelka stopped just shy of the door she was about to enter at the end of the hall, marked as a stairway leading down. She disliked elevators. And if the technology was going wild here, she didn't trust them doubly. A thought crossed her mind. Her right hand rose, the dagger within slipped into the sheath in her sleeve. As Kiga used a fire attack to destroy some of the spider children, the woman also intervened at the end of the technique.

"Monarch of the sovereign sky, call upon ancient south winds to raise the conflagration to its innermost heights. The earth itself scarred before your wish, the universe composed of swirling rage released in a symphony in the voices of demons."

Around the woman began a twisting gathering of air. The air would shift and turn, becoming condensed into a tiny, compact ball of green light. She gestured, and the light shot forth, as she turned away again and opened the door to the downstairs. Her heels clicked on the floor as the door closed behind her, and alone, she spoke.

"Nochd."

The green sphere exploded then, created a massive rush of wind that shattered all the glass along the hallway that led into the windowed offices. The extreme rush of air pushed heat to the higher surface, creating a much larger fireburst, feeding oxygen into it, making a blaze that rushed along the hallway. True, she had only used a class-2 wind elemental attack, but it was enough that the burst would be sizable, but brief. That way nobody would be caught in a long blast of fire except Kiga, and she was fairly sure that in fire armor, fire itself wouldn't bother him. It was her present to him, an aid for his effort before she moved on. It should clear away part of his problem. So that was her magic. Quite a show.

The Mecha hummed softly within the darkness of the dome that covered them both. Living versus Unliving, but so much in common at some point. He tried not to ponder so, for that would probably earn him such punishment again, but. . .what sin is that of living ?

"Life is useless. . . "

He nodded at the tought, his eyes entraced onto the skyless roof, looking for something, somebody. An aproval. He had done his job, the symbiosis would take a while though, as it scyncs this mecha with his master.

"Master. . . petty word to describe somebody who won't do stuff for it's own. . "

He felt himself on his knees the next moment, darkness coloring his memoir. It was an inner struggle against a new conciousness he now wielded.

"You shall do no good in thinking such thoughts. . .freedom is easily given, so it is taken as well. . ."

Nodding again, he stood up, gazing at the roof. Hn? What's this?
He blinked, this time showing a slight curiosity on his pale lips and hidden eyes, looking towards the tower which was the elevator. Peculiar, something worth of a challenge came to him. His mind raced again, though he was surprised to find it was allowed to indulge on these feelings: anxiety for who might it be, cockiness on how easy it could be, anticipation for the great battle, a touch of happiness perhaps. . . and an anger for he who had dared to take his precious time to do so.
Focused, he decided to stay still in his place, an aura surrounding him with shimering blue lights, illuminated the rather dark place.

"I believe I must prepare for our. . .guests. . . After all, I wouldn't like to be such a bad host"
PostPosted: Tue Mar 09, 2010 8:44 pm

Kiga blinked surprised, at how his attacks went from big to. . . hell. Hell itself melted away the bots that scram and wrapped around themselves, dying like a real spider, turning on their backs before melting to . .. nothing. A puddle of something, at least.
The 'main' spider, trying to resist itself, used it's lost children to cover itself, a selfish act of survival, cannibalizing. . .so spider like.

"Time for you to die" he exclaimed, releasing a final plummet of fire "FIREWORKS!"

Like the name said, the rather 'normal' flame turned into bolts of lightning, sparkling, crackling, taking over the bot who gave one horrible shrill before it collapsing on itself and melting on it's own. Horrible would had it been a living creature.
Once the power blaze finished, there where only memoirs of the once army, the core of the spider almost intact, the once metal walls, either bent due the heat (still some pink-ish or even hot red) completely burnt.
Kiga noticed Koukodela, still in his fire armor, astonishment could be seen.

"Why? " he managed to utter. Didn't she hate him? . . . the problem from Halloween echoed again with him. Women . . . so complicated. . . at a moment they want to kick you, next they help you. . .

So that was the stairway down, huh? She could tell hearing the explosions that Kiga was having a party. She chuckled to herself. Still, there was a dark sense of foreboding. She felt something down there. Something that wasn't mechanical. That's where the real danger was. Machines were adaptable, but utterly predictable. Living things however, could change at a moment's notice. Emotions made them dangerous. She knew it well. The woman stood up on the banister of the stairwell and looked down. Secure floors, huh? Alright. She'd have to use a higher class spell. It would be tricky to time it. And with that she jumped.

She placed herself face downward, watching as stairways sped by, as she plummeted downward in the space between them. Even as she had begun falling, she had begun.

"Chaos spinning in the palm of the blind god at the center of the universe. Ancient path twisted by a destructive force, tomb of air condensed into hate. Soulless rage in the echoes of Pandemonium, dance about as the spirits of anger shriek their indignation at the sky that holds them down. Let the forever-song be sung until the end of time, when the earth boils up into the black night. Become my thousand blades, O spirits of hateful wind, and bring forth change to the stagnation of structure!"

She cupped her hands together then, and pointed at the rapidly approaching floor. The energy level around her was tense and the built up wind was screaming around her. The slivers of air cut into the sides of the stairwell around her, changing structure. This was the power of wind; the power of chaos. It answered her, and she had to use this level of spell to break through these modern structures. Such a bother.

"Mor Nochd!"

This was different. It wasn't even on the same level as the burst she'd thrown in Kiga's direction, and unlike that time, instead of being redirected around an object, it was pointed straight down. Both of the woman's hands cupped, a drill of air barreled from her palms, shattering the floor for level after level as she fell through, the updraft created by released air cushioning her fall. The entire outpouring of power was enough to shake the entire building structure slightly. As she landed on the floor, she had a feeling she was already close to the bottom level. The sense of foreboding was worse here. A class-3 spell. One away from the strongest of the 'basic' type magics.

Three tiers of magic. Classes one through four. Then five through eight. Class nine magics..she had hopes she wouldn't even have to go as high as six. If she did, that meant that the enemy was capable of high levels of destruction. The last time she'd gone that far was when she fought with the Creants. But she doubted anything would match them here. Even then she'd needed help. She'd fix all this in one shot and go home. She hoped. And so she adjusted her ruffled hair, and walked onward.
