Joining an RP
The first thing to do when joining an RP is Read the Story to see if you like it. If you like it then you read ALL of the posts on the page. Some RPs have a What's Going on? Post which is very helpful if the RP has already started. Some RPs also have an OOC thread where you can ask questions too to see if you would like to join. More importantly, the rules are also located on the first page. Make sure you read ALL the rules and follow them. Also make sure you got the 'Special Word or Phrase or Emote'.
If you decide to join the RP, the next thing you do is fill out the Profile Skeleton.

The Profile Skeleton
The Profile Skeleton is basically the application where you fill in your characters info in. Here's a General Profile Skeleton for a Sonic RP.
Username:
Character name:
Age:
Gender:
Species:
Abilities:
Bio:
Appearance:
Personality:
Extra:
Username: ( This is where your Username or Gaianame goes. So for me, it would be xxxChaos Sodaxx will go here. This is here so people know who is playing this character. )
Character name: ( This is where the Name of the Character Goes. When choosing the name of your character, please try to be original. Don't use names already used in the Sonic Series. Like Don't call your Pyrokenetic Hedgehog Blaze. )
Age: ( Where the Age of the Character Goes. Don't put anything unreasonable and don't put unknown. Your character may not know how old he or she is but you do! )
Gender: ( The Gender of your Character. If your character has no gender, let us know why! )
Species/Race: ( The Species or Race of your character goes here. Try to be original Here too. Don't use a hedgehog or a cat or a Fox ect. Try to also avoid hybrids and what not. )
Abilities: ( Here you list your characters abilities. Try to be creative and original! Also describe your characters abilities like how they use them. Also explain their weaknesses. And Please, please nothing too powerful, especially without a good weakness to go with it.)
Bio: ( Here be as descriptive as possible! Explain all the IMPORTANT parts on your characters past. If he/she doesn't remember you DO! So you have to put something. A Paragraph is accepted but more is generally better. Also don't make anything Sueish or stuish. Meaning no character who is perfect. )
Appearance: ( When filling out your character's appearance, be as descriptive as possible! Describe hair/fur color, Body Shape, Hairstyle, Clothes, Skin Color, Eye Color, ect. )
Personality: ( Try to avoid just putting Adjectives. Put how he/she would react in certain Situations! Also when RPing you may go out of character to develop your character but try to stay as close to what you put in your profile as much as possible in he beginning. )
Extra: ( Put Extra Info about your character here! It would be really nice to know your character a little better so please fill it out even if it's optional. )
A Side note to add is that when filling out a skeleton it would be nice to the RP maker if you erased the () [] (()) in the Skeleton 3nodding
