Two Kingdoms, Four Loves, One War ((Join please!))

Long ago, there were two kingdoms. They were Kagor and Ietia. Both kingdoms were at war with each other, for many disagreements over the years. Both kings had four children each. The king of Kagor, had four, handsome, strong sons, while the king of Ietia had four, beautiful, intelligent daughters. But one day, the two kingdoms made a treaty that was to bring Kagor and Ietia together, when the neighboring kingdom of Selthal declared war upon both of the smaller kingdoms. The eldest daughter of Ietia was to give her hand in marriage to the eldest son of Kagor. They had never met before, and had no idea what each other looked like, but if all went well, the younger siblings of the two would then be wed together. In less than a week, the eldest princess of Ietia was married to Kagor's eldest prince. Some members of the families supported this marriage, while others will still do anything to end it. With the world falling down all around them, can these 8 young men and women stay alive and save both of their kingdoms?

There are two races, Anthro and Magic, which I will explain momentarily. But it's still like humans in the end, so no one is more ridiculously powerful than each other.

No two siblings the same age unless they are twins, so everyone has to have at least a year difference.
Please use third person, and write like it is a story. Don't write *this* for actions. That includes not txt talk. Please type out words correctly. I don't care if spelling is sometimes bad, but don't purposely mess up words. Semi-lit to lit only.
Don't kill anyone's character without permission unless you do it to your own.

The setting is like what everything in the lord of the rings looks like. So Ietia looks like the elf cities, it’s hidden away in forest. Kagor is more of a walled city out in the open of a great plain.


Ietia
This is an image of what the castle looks like from the outside.

In Ietia, women are just as important as the men. And really, the women do most of the fighting, while the men take care of farming and the more time-consuming issues. But the people of Ietia are all graceful, fair, and very polite. They only resort to violence when it is absolutely the last option. Ietians are mostly vegetarians. The cool thing about the Ietians though, is that they are anthropomorphic creatures. They have three forms, a human form, an animal form, and an combination form of the two. However, they can only change into one animal and that animal is usually decided before they are even born, just kind of sorted out in their DNA. With their connection to animals and everything in the forest, the only meat they eat are eggs and fish.

This is Kagor

In Kagor, the men fight and are the controllers, while women are supposed to obey, be silent, and speak when spoken to. The people of Kagor are strong and proud, and always ready to fight for their honor. People from Kagor love to eat meat, and that is the main staple in their diets. But they are also very skilled in using magic, though they can only usually master one element of magic.

This is Selthal


In Selthal is a smaller kingdom, but all of its warriors are strong. Their king always desires more power and he has set his eyes on both Kagor and Ietia. There is basically rock all around the kingdom, so the people of Selthal thrive off of mining and producing weapons and such with the metals they have. Their magic is much stronger than those in Kagor, but it drains them greatly, the one downside to magic for all those that wield it.

Name: Amaryllis (Amaya) Caldwell
Role in Kingdom: Eldest Princess
Age: 21
Gender: Female
Personality: Very sweet but wise and strong in decision making. A little secretive, but she has good intentions. If her sisters are threatened, she will do everything in her power to make sure they are okay since she is the oldest. However, when her strength as a warrior and princess is challenged, she will defend it fiercely. She has become a very strong person, raising her sisters since her father went into a deep depression after her mother died. Amaya's mother was killed right infront of her, and she was the only one there. Sadly, Amaya was much too young at the time to know what to do, so she only stayed with her mother's body until she was found by Guards of Ietia. Since that day, she raised her sisters and ruled her country, having her father be only a figure head.
Likes: Animals, the forest, dancing, singing, playing the piano and flute, playing with children, her siblings, her father, maybe her new husband?
Dislikes: Being ordered around, Being held back from something or barred from something because she is a woman, people upsetting her siblings, eating meat, hunting, being reminded of how exactly her mother died and what happened to her as well.

Role in kingdom: 2nd Princess, twin to Mal
Age: 20
Gender: Female
Personality: Quiet and more introverted, is usually the quiet one in the corner who watches the festivities and observes. This is not to say she is shy, though she can be. She is polite to all unless you have done her, her family, or friends wrong. Then she gets rather...erm... cruel. Since Amaya shoulders so much of the responsibility, she also does what she can to help her and their family. She and Mal are opposites, yet excessively similar.
Likes: Playing with herbs and spores to create certain effects, her family (especially Mal), flying free, singing, drawing/painting, writing, music, most animals, nature in all it's forms, theater,
Dislikes: People insulting her family, being put down, people who sing slightly off key or with poor technique, becoming too pressured, people with a crueler sense of humor, getting ordered around too much, stupidity, sexism, those who judge too quickly.
Weapons: A Yari spear however it also has two blades extending horizontally besides the main blade. Thus they form a sort of "T" shape. She also has a fang sword, invisible wires with little daggers at their tips that seem to fly from her fingers, and a couple of throwing daggers.

Other: She shares a telepathic bond with Mal because they are twins.

Name: Giliana Diella Caldwell
Role in kingdom: Third Princess
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Personality: Giliana, or Gili as she prefers, is the most different of her sisters. Gili is very free spirited and loving and always smiling, though not to say that her sisters aren't. She isn't in any sense of the word 'shy' but is instead a very big socialite. Giliana loves to go to balls and explore the kingdom with her sisters, when any of them come with her, and is always in a cheerful bubbly mood. She loves to keep the smile on her sisters' faces and always views the glass as half full.
Likes: Parties, groups of people, bright colors, music, dancing, being liberous
Dislikes: Silence, tears, her sisters unhappiness, being alone, standing still, being told what to do
Weapons: Giliana uses the classic bow and arrow. Hers are made of gold and silver and tipped with a special poison that will surely kill any enemy.
Appearance: Im pretty easy on the eyes, wouldnt you say?
Other: Giliana is always smiling, on the outside,that it is. But on the inside, she still burns with her last memory of her mother being found lifeless on the ground and yearns to have her back in her life again, happy and jubilent. She remembers that when her mother died, it was as though a dark cloud had engulfed the entire kingdom, and all the happiness within it. She hated those days, and not for her own saddness, but for that of her sisters and father; all were so cheerful before, but after mother passed... It was as though they were all different people... That is why Gili always smiles, to keep those heart wrenching times from ever returning and for her sisters to never feel that sort of pain again. To give them a reason to smile, just like the way Mother used to...

Role in kingdom: 4th Princess
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Personality: Jenna is quiet, shy. She will not speak unless she find it absolutely necessary, which is rare. If she is asked a direct question, she will speak the minimal amount needed. She is intelligent, always with a book in her arms. She has studied certain medical remedies, and loves to help people who are injured or sick. An easy way to refer to her would be the strong silent type.
Likes: Jenna likes reading, fencing, studying, paradoxes, and writing.
Dislikes: Jenna abhors those who would dare hurt others, disruptive people, and anything that might otherwise disrupt her reading time.
Weapons: Jenna prefers ornate twin daggers, and she has three sets of them. She occasionally carries a decorated rapier, but that is only when she is ready to spar.
Appearance: Jenna has long blonde hair that falls down to her waist. She has light blue eyes, and in her half animal form she has long hawk wings which sprout from her back. They are both five feet long. Her full form is a hawk with light brown feathers.
Other: Jenna always has a satchel on her containing herbs and a book of some kind.

Role in kingdom: Twin brother to Elaine. So he's a prince.
Age: 20
Gender: Male
Personality: Outgoing, extroverted, yet often seen calm, Malachai is hardly ever seen without Evian. The two are so similar and so not at the same time. He is often seen as more carefree, but in truth he's just good at hiding what he's thinking. He and Elaine share this ability, though they do it in different ways. Since males don't hold as much sway in Ietia, he mostly acts as a guard. Mainly for his twin, but also for his other sisters. He shares Elaine's cruelty when he, his family, or his friends are wronged.
Likes: Having fun, joking around, flying, writing, music, playing what would be equivalent to a guitar, his family (especially Elaine), being carefree, theater.
Dislikes: His family and friends being distressed by someone, being put down, pressure, being called irresponsible, those who judge too quickly, ignorance, pointless bickering.
Weapons: Fangs, claws, dual swords, throwing daggers, and shuriken.

Likes: The high places of Ietia, being around her best friend Amaryllis, being out in the forest, her family, snow.
Dislikes: Deep water, arrogant people, people who hurt her friends, being forced into doing something she doesn't want to.

Role in kingdom: Eldest Prince
Age: 21
Gender: Male
Personality: Growing up with the pressure of being the eldest Calcifer had to learn quickly how to manipulate others and get used to constantly giving proof he was worthy of being heir to the throne. Intelligent and confident he often comes across as arrogant, but he simply puts in a lot of hardwork when he thinks no one is looking. He is proud of his Kingdom and so will do anything that is asked of him to secure it's safety, even if it means marriage. He is energetic, constantly moving or plotting and so thinks that marriage and "settling down" will be his biggest challange yet. However, he'll do it to set an example for his brothers and show his father he is worthy of all the pride the older man feels for him.
Likes: Riding horses (particularly in groups), hunting, most sports, telling stories and singing songs with his friends and brothers and (though he'd never admitt to it) reading about the history of the kingdoms

Personality: Whinz is very kind and easygoing, which has made it hard for him to fit in with his people, who are generally prideful and figures of great strength. Whinz is a slight diplomat, and will first search for an easy solution before resorting to a fight; however, once he begins fighting he can become very serious. While most warriors of Kagor fight with their strength, Whinz relies more on his speed. While he has a very lighthearted manner, he usually understands the deeper meaning to things. Rather than think of woman as 'lesser' like others in his kingdom, Whinz simply tends to ignore them, and when they do talk to him he treats them like he would any male servant or subject.

Personality:
Handmaiden- She is somewhat clumsy and ditzy. Bright and cheerful, she blushes easily, and seems nervous often.
Guard - Her true nature is that of the calm, collected warrior. She uses the facade of a handmaiden to throw potential enemies off, even her allies sometimes. She seems rather icy and distant, but in truth she remains warm and friendly. It's just she doesn't generally let it show because she was raised to be a fighter. She is used to discipline and rules.
Likes: Dressing up Katie, the family she works for, singing, dancing, animals, messing around with plants to achieve certain effects, helping people, sunny days, snow, being appreciated, honesty, reading, cooking, sewing, fighting to protect what she cares for, occasionally making clothes, and sparring.
Dislikes: Orders she doesn't agree with, having to obey said bad orders, failing in her mission, being ordered about without an inch of respect as a warrior at the very least, losing face in front of people, those who are dishonest, ignorant, intolerant, rude, obnoxious, and cruel without reason.
Weapons: Because of her dual nature in her work, she normally just has a couple of hidden smaller daggers and a kukri strapped to her leg when she's a simple handmaiden. When she's a guard, the only difference is she carries a halberd. However, the metal is more of combination of white and gold with an emerald where the gem is.

Name: King Caldwell
Kingdom: Ietia
Age: 57
Personality: Very reserved and distant. He hasn't been the same since his wife died due to a horrible tragedy soon after the birth of their last daughter. He is always sad and quiet, he basically left Amaya to rule the Kingdom, just being some figure head himself. Not very good at ruling, but he did come up with the idea of the arranged marriage.
Weapons: Just a sword.
Appearance: An old, gray-bearded man. He is shorter than his daughters, and not in very good health. He is skinny and is normally bent over, basically hobbling to wherever he goes. ((That's all I got right now.))



Name: King Radford
Kingdom/role in kingdom: King of Kagor
Age: 52
Personality: Lively and loud. Still has a lot left in his life. A little upset that his wife died after she fell ill, but he has four sons that he is proud of. He kind of likes the idea of war and fighting, but agreed that he would stop if his sons were married. The only reason he said yes to the proposal was because he wanted grandchildren.
Weapons: A royal sword
Appearance: A beard that is just starting to turn gray. He still has a lot of life left in him, and he looks pretty healthy. He stands tall and actually looks like he rules the kingdom. A little chubby, but what king isn't. He has some muscles, but looks a little lazy sometimes.
