She didn't know what to do. She couldn't! She had seven infants to take care of yet here she was walking off and leaving them by themselves. They'd been weened a week ago but still. It wasn't like Spots could handle all of them.
She just couldn't make herself take care of them. She was too frightened of what would happen. That she'd be a horrible mother. She didn't even know what to do when they were born.
So here she was in the cold night pacing by a lake. The moon shown down on her pale fur lighting it a soft cream. She sighed and looked skyward with her ears down. What was she supposed to do? "Heh... if only there was a Goddess of Momhood..." She muttered curling her around herself.

Nya had been flying over the lands with a her head held high. She was in her prime now, back into the world and ready to help those who needed her. She wasn't at first aware of the mother rabbit until the female spoke the words and Nya felt her calling. She followed the source of the words, landing a bit of a ways off, as to not frighten anyone. She lifted her ears and caught the last bits of words that felled the rabbits mouth.
She stepped closer and chuckled. "Actually, there is..." She said softly, her blue eye sparkling.

(XD Inka's a leopard)
The leopard's ears twitched at the voice and she spun to face the lion. She was on the defensive ready to fight until she stopped in her tracks. A goddess stood before her, seeming to glow in the moonlight. She opened her mouth then closed it again before approaching.
Her last experience didn't yield good results. "...And who are you supposed to be?" She finally asked, doubting the other came because she called. She wasn't a believer.

xDD MY BAD OMG
Nya chuckled and sat down, her wings tucking against her body delicatly like the feathers of a beautiful swan. She was rather pleased with the females reaction to her approaching and it showed. The way the leopard spoke, Nya knew it'd be a tough night. "I am nyasambe... goddess of Mothers... and you summoned me..."
She said, her tail tip flicking lightly. "You specifically spoke 'if only there was a goddess of momhood' and frankly, that's my specialty. And here I am, at your service beautiful mother!" She said, a kind smile on her maw

The female lowered her head as the much larger animal spoke. The Goddess of Mother's... there really was one of those? What wasn't there a a God of? She listened carefully at the name and flicked her tail in annoyance.
"Summoned you? I was being sarcastic..." She responded and looked away. "I'm not beautiful mother... I'm hardly that." She said with a bit of her depression in her voice. "What kind of mother doesn't even want her brats?"

Nya gazed at her with a soft look to her eyes. She sighed, tucking her head against her chest for a moment and sat in thought. "It happens from time to time.. Sometimes it is different for others.. its all apart of the balance of life... " She said simply. "Some creatures are naturally not good mothers and some are... like the crocodile... did you know that the crocodile is one of the best moms, though she does not do much for her offspring?"
She lifted her head up. "Where as you are not a crocodile and can chose to do anything for your babies and I can help with that if you like!"

Olayinka hesitates before listening to the Goddess. Crocodiles? She'd only really seen them as snapping monsters. But good mothers? That was the last thing that came to mind. So even reptiles were doing better then she was.
"What do you mean you can 'help'?" The leopard asked skeptically.

Nya smiled and brought her wing in front of her, exposing her white feathers. "I have the ability to give you one of my feathers and in turn, changing your views and ways of being a mother... As long as you know where the feather is at all times... you will feel differently than you do." She said, spreading her feathers to show how lovely white and pearlesant they were.
"But if you suddenly decide to not want this gift anymore, you simply have to destroy the feather or forget about it... but I must warn you... this is a rare gift indeed and if the feather is destroyed, I feel great pain..." She added. "So I only give them to females that I feel will change for the better!"

The leopardess stared at the feathers displayed to her. They were beautiful and she looked at them for the longest time. Shifting her ears back she listened to the Goddess' words before shifting.
Olayinka looked away for a moment, letting the information sink in. "... I understand... And I would gladly accept your gift. I do want to care for my children like a normal mother." She stood and gave the female a soft look before bowing. "I wish to return the favor someday."

Nya smiled to the leopardess and bowed her head as well. "Alright then..." She said, grabbing one of the serene white feathers and pulling it swiftly from her wing, without flinching. She took the feather from her mouth and gazed at its beauty for a moment before handing it over to Olayinka. "My gift... my blessing is on you. Once you touch this feather you will feel it's power. I suggest hiding it away where no one will find it or keep it on you at all times... so no one can hinder it or you.."
She tucked her wings back against her body silently. "The only favor I ask is that you love your children undyingly and forever..." She beamed

Uncertainly the young mother watched as the feather was plucked from the Goddess then offered to her. She glanced up once at the larger animal before delicately reaching out and taking it.
The instant she held it she felt a change. For an instant she was caught in a small amount of panic. Where were her cubs? Why wasn't she there protecting them? The sudden amount of concern caught her off guard and she nearly dropped the feather.
It took a moment for her to regain herself and when she did she gazed up at the Goddess. "Thank you... I will."

Nya bobbed her head, noticing the change of expression on the females face. She then stood, bobbing her head again. "Keep it secret and safe, new mother." She said softly, before turning on her heel and starting away. "I must go. I am needed... " She added softly.
"Remember what I told you... and take care.!" She then took flight and without a look back, was gone. She found goodbyes were easier if quick and clean.
