This is Telrunya Isle, home of the Pae'il. I recommend not straying too deep into Dragnid Forest.. it could prove bad for your health. Loka Nei Forest is safe though, and the Fae Clearing gives off a strong magical feel. Pae'Kippu beach is quite sunny and relaxing, but Chai'en beach is better if you wish to be completely alone. Silme Pond is a place of magical mystery. Neither of the mountains have really been explored.. but there seems to be a few caves.. maybe the Pae'il have neighbors? Oh, and Falassion House of Healing is a resting place on the eastern end of the Island, staffed by Water and Earth Fairies.

Locations Worthy to Note:
locations in bold are new

Aura Nin Mountain - despite being in the middle of the sea, these mountain peaks are covered in snow.
Loka Nei Forest - when the land broke away on the western part of the forest, creating the lagoon, the force caused the land to split all the way to Tuatha'ri Lake, turning Chai'en River into a canyon that splits the forest in half.
Tuatha'ri Lake - This lake is still a lake in the middle of the island, with the land mass underneath. (very very deep underneath)
Telrunya City - The powerful faerie magics used to rebuild the city instinctively protect the city and will not allow it to touch down into the water. However, it is drawn to the main island, so it hovers, floating above where the city used to be located.
Laisidhiel - the Tree of Life that was hidden behind the island for ages. In ancient times, it was revered by all Pae. What secrets could this tree hold?

1. Former site of the HQ. It was destroyed in a terrible hurricane and the debris was used to build the Trading Post.
2. Landing Pad - Redirected to allow Pae'il into the city without needing to fly up..
3. Faerie of Life's Cottage - Millie's cottage. Pae will still go here when they wish to exand their family.
4. Sein Lagoon - Protected by the rocks at the entrance, boats cannot enter this lagoon. This Lagoon is a very quiet, and peaceful place, drawing Naiads and water-loving pae from all over to enjoy the new area.
5. Fae Clearing - This is a place of untold magic. Faerie Pae'il feel oddly drawn here sometimes. Strange things have been happening around here lately.
6. Chai'en River - now a canyon splitting the forest.
7. Waplei Marsh - still the same, except now the river that used to flow off the island formed a waterfall that drains into Waplei cove.
8. Waplei Cove - (see above)
9. Dragnid Forest - still evil. Stay out.
10. Dragnid Tower (volcano) - this volcano was always there, just was not visible. Its since surfaced due to the island's geography adjusting to its new location.
11. Naur's Citadel Ruins - At the base of the volcano. Not many Pae even know of its existance due to how deep in Dragnid it is.
12. Potion Master's Cottage - Kalandandra's home.
13. Falassion Healing House - a place of peace and tranquility and a place Pae'il can go to pamper themselves.
14. Pae'kippu Beach - still the popular beach hangout. There is now a slight incline in the northeast. Being landlocked still, it offers an addition sense of security away from the turbulent waves of the Sea.
15. Alu's Shrine - only visible is the top of the temple, as the real temple is very tall, going down to the bottom of the lake.
16. Cha'en Beach - the island's 'settling' has increased the size of this beach.
17. Silme Pond - a mystical pond. Strange things happen here on nights with a full moon.
18. Ithyl Forest - Once just a few trees, it grew into a lush forest around the magical pond when the island 'settled'.
19. Nethaear Beach - Once part of the land where Telruyna City was located, its since become a large beach after the City 'relocated' itself.
20. Tyla'es Cave - A big monster lurks in there. Don't go in there.
21. Lyg Rock - Snake shaped rock close to Tyla'es Cave.
22. Vilya's Keep - this has moved a bit. It used to be behind the island, but now is just high up in the mountains.
23. Mereth Falls - very large, beautiful waterfall created by what used to be Mereth Stream. The Stream is now a white-water river flowing from the hidden lake in the mountain.
24. To'ul Mountain - still the same, just no snow on the smaller mountain. Still full of small caves.
25. The Temple (Templa' Temple) - rebuilt a few years ago by a sole little angel, it is the only ancient site to be completely restored to date.
26. (ominous cave) - no one knows what lurks in this cave, but it emits such a terribly uneasy aura that no pae dare even enter it.

Off Limits

User Image

Certain areas are off-limits due to the Plot and what is really located in that area.

  1. The snow-capped mountain peaks of Aura Nin Mountain are off limits not only to Pae'il being able to reside there, but to Pae'il even being able to go there. Consider the Mountain Peaks like Mt. Olympus: fate will step in and prevent all Pae'il from ever seeing what's up there.
What is up there? Its a mystery! But there is something hiding up there.
  2. The Ominous Cave on the northern edge of Loka Nei Forest, just before hitting To'ul Mountain. Pae'il cannot enter this cave yet.
What is in there? Something extremely dangerous. At this time, there is a magical barrier preventing any Pae'il or island fairy from entering. Or any creature from exitting.
  3. Silme Pond in the middle of Ithyl Forest. This is a magical pond, so Pae'il cannot live in it. (I'm lookin' at you, Naiads.)
  4. Tyla'es Cave on the nothern side of the island. Pae'il are not allowed to venture into this cave as it will be used for some future plots and Quests.
What is in there? Its a mystery still.
  5. Fae Clearing in Loka Nei Forest if off limits for Pae'il to build a home. This is considered sacred ground to the Faerie Pae'il as well as the island Fairies and upcoming Miakis. Pae'il are allowed to go there, and build houses on the edge in the forest, but not actually in the clearing.
  6. Waplei Cove cannot have any Pae'il building a residence near or in the waterfall. This location will be used in the future for plot purposes.
  7. Dragnid Tower obviously cannot have residents inside. Its an active volcano. But not just any volcano, it seeps evil taint, so any Pae'il foolish enough to even live near it will be affected by the taint and go mad.
  8. At the base of Dragnid Tower is a pond/lake and the ruins of Naur's Citadel. These are areas that are off limits too all Pae'il UNLESS you've been granted permission to go there. At this time, the only Pae'il with permission is Branwen.

Pae'il cannot take up residence in any of the 3 undiscovered temples on the island either. At this time, 2 (of the 5 total) of the temples are now active again, and can be visited, but Angel, Demon and Faerie Pae'il cannot live there unless invited by the Leader residing there, and swearing fealty to that leader.
Currently:
1. Alu Spring - the water temple in Tuatha Ri Lake and home to the Naiad and Queen Tariel and her Court.
2. Laisidhiel - the earth temple, located off the eastern coast of the island. This temple is actually an extremely large, inhabited tree. Faun reside inside this tree, and rarely will let visitors inside. All Faun can live inside this tree with their own little nook (like a primitive apartment) and their society can function completely inside this tree without outside influence. (there is a food and water supply, schools, etc.)
3. Unnamed Temple in Loka Nei Forest - this will be explained in more detail coming up. For now, it is merely an empty, amatuerly repaired temple.
4. Unnamed Temple on top of Aura Nin - no information on this to be revealed yet.
5. Naur's Citadel Ruins - located at the base of Dragnid Tower, partially submerged in a swamp.

Telrunya City is off limits to all Naiad and Faun.

Map is clickable to a larger version with coordinates.

Feel free to download the map and make a note on the map where your Pae'il lives, or any other notable locations that you want us to be aware of.

You may also post descriptions or pictures of what your Pae's home looks like.

Keep in mind that Telrunya is a very, very large island. A Pae'il would not be able to see from one side of Tuatha Ri Lake to another if standing on the beach. It would take weeks to walk from one end of the island to the other.

The trees in Loka Nei Forest are like giant redwoods or tropical rainforests. They are HUGE.

Laisidhiel would almost look like a vertical mountain to someone not familiar with the landmark, because it is simply that big.

Contest

This will be an ongoing contest in which the prizes will be continually added to and updated year-round

:[ Prizes ]:
  • A group of themed, edited Pae'il.
    • Can be from 3-5 Pae'il
    • Themes will be random, but relevant to Telrunya or the metaplot.
    • Each player in a 2-person RP will win one of the Pae'il, and get to choose who gets the remaining Pae'il in the group.
    • Examples of themes: Pirates, lost schools of Naiad, bandits, ninjas, rebels, lost children, and more.
  • Unique relics or items that can serve as breeding additives, PLOT devices, or hidden treasures (both OoC and IC)

:[ Instructions ]:
  • Click the map in the post above this, to get the large map with the grid.
  • In the title of the RP, include the coordinates of where your Pae'il will be in the RP.
  • RP as normal
  • When your Pae'il is in the same area as a group of secret Pae'il, there will be a prompt to lead them to the location.
  • Follow posted instructions, because each group will be handled differently depending on the theme.

:[ Rules ]:
  • Coordinates from the main map must be included in the title of the RP in brackets.
    • Example: [16.5N 9.25W] (This is Cha'en Beach)
  • North first, West second.
  • Solos do count
  • ORPs and Event RPs do not qualify
  • RP can have up to 5 participants
  • As the year goes on, it is possible a new group will show up at a previously chosen location. RPing does not eliminate that particular coordinate from the possible choices.
  • Prizes will never run out, as we'll constantly add to them and keep this contest up for as long as players participate.
  • Staff can participate only if the other player chooses the location. RP that is required for PLOT and requires a staff member to choose does not qualify. (Staff will not use their advantage of knowing the locations to their advantage, but if the player chooses, staff can win with the player.)
  • There is no limit to the amount of these Pae'il one player can win.
  • Areas shaded in red do not qualify as areas a hidden group will be. However, when the lake map, City map and Laisidhiel maps are completed, we will add them to this contest as possibilities.
