I am starting this as a thread based roleplay, however it is most likely to be done on msn. At least the majority of it.

Caelius had spent some time thinking about this, pretty much ever since he met this little filly. Wandering along towards where he knew the filly and family would be. Having come up with a way that she could use to communicate with in time, though even then it would be hard to have detaild conversations for a long time, but it was a start at least.
Trotting along the river bank, sure he would find the little filly soon, though as she couldn't speak, he would most likely not find her till she found him. Slowing down so that he could look for her when he reached the area where her family usually were, looking around to see if she was about. In not it was no big deal, he could come back when she was.

Sy wriggled the blankets of her tiny body and jumped up, stretching every limb, she usually took a nap around mid-day as she was still a growing filly.
But when she was awake she was full of bursts of energy, always ready to play,
optimism was a second nature to her, but still any adult could tell she had so much to learn.
She emerged out of the teepee looking at the environments with an inquisitive eye, wondering what she'd do today.
Thirst had her by the throat, she hop, skipped and jumped her way around her teepee and to the river, not getting too close because she knew it could be dangerous.

Cael stands on the path near the river, looking round, sprouts of green making this place look much prettyer than the dull greys and browns the winter had brougt. Taking the few steps needed to reach the waters edge, lowering his head to drink. Closing his eyes a moment, enjoying the cool water.

Sy smiled.
'It's Mr.Caelius!'
She bent down next to him also taking a drink, her ears flicked and tail waggled,
she lifted her head and looked at him with a grin, wondering if he'd come for a visit.
Expecting him to speak or ask a question she waited for him to finish drinking.

Cael had the feeling that something or someone was near him watching. Opening his eyes to have a look round he jumped sideways with a surprised noise. "OH MY! You quiet little sneeking up on me..." Settling after she made him jump like that, smiling and giving her a little nuzzle. "So did you sneek up on me on purpose to make me an old man early?" Usually asking questions that could be yes or no so it was easy for her.

Sy was quite alarmed when he jumped not expecting that kind of reaction, but the land was still so why would she expect otherwise?
Her ears up, tail stuck out, neck straight and wings spread out alarmingly as if they were arms.
Sy frantically shook her head at his question not meaning to scare him, she grinned wondering why he was here. She tilted her head and nuzzles his side because it was all she could reach, he had been so nice to her and he always made it easier to talk to him.

Cael smiles at her, something in him always musy for her, he thought she was totally adorable, more so with her trouble communicating, she tried so hard and that just made him a big softy. "Well then Miss Sym now that I know you arent out to make me an old man I should say I'm happy to see you hmm.. Are you glad to see me too? Your smile makes me think you are?" Teasing her a little but not in a mean way, he just liked to play with her and she was so full of energy that she bounced right along. Smiling wondering how excited she would be when he told her his idea.

Sy laughed little sounds of breathing and wheezing came from her, and her muscles contracted in time, he made her laugh, she'd never ever wanted to make him an old man. Sy nodded with a grin confirming that he was correct, her attention was completely on him, she saw him as another good role model in her life. She had so many too look up to, at the moment it was quite literally.
She enjoyed putting smiles on people faces that was one of the things she believed she lived for. hen she was ecstatic the little wings behind her ears fluttered, just a habit she had, like a dog wagging it's tail.

Cael smiled leaning down to look her in the face, smiling his usual kind smile as he looks at her. "Would you like to know why I'm here today? I think you would be excited if I told you." Smiling cheerfully, hoping that he had worked out a way for her to communicate, but he would need to take time to teach herm afterall it took time to learn lots of things.

Sy nodded enthusiastically t his first question, she always found Caelius to be fun,
she had wondered why she'd be excited.
'does he have a gift for me? Why's he here? Why will I be excited? I want to know!'
She hopped from side to side getting slightly impatient, she looked up at him with a smile inspective every feature and then back to his face, she wondered what he was thinking, his smile said it was something good.

Grinning at her, not able to help himself, he found her so adorable. "Well then Miss Sym, today I am here jsut to see you, because I might have come up with a way that you can communicate to others. It will take a little time to learn but I'm sure you will get it and that soon enough you will find ways of teaching everyone else." Smiling kindlyat her, trying not to show hos amusement at her little impatient movements. Waiting to see how she reacts to this news. Lidting his head back up out of range, just in case she decided to jump about in joy.

Sy isn't sure she herd right, she looked at him in disbelief for a moment and soon as it processed, excitement took hold of her.
'Mr.Caelius is a genius! What is this form of communication? Will people understand?!'
She dropped to her knees just over whelmed, she stood back up and nodded with a tear streaming down her cheek. She blinked.
'Teach me?'
She gave a little huff of air almost like a sigh, her ears wings began to flap ecstatically, she grinned.
'All this excitement is enough to give an old guy a heart attack! Oh wow wow wow!'

Cael watched her excitement, feeling like crying himself when he saw her tears. Brushing his nose to waipe them away, even though they were happy tears. Bending to try and give her a hug, his neck lowerd to hold her gently so as not to harm her wings with all the excited flapping. "Easy there Sym, I know your happy and excited but I'd be very sad if you hurt yourself from being so excited." Trying to calm her a little, having seen how delicate wings could be.
Standing upright again when she was calmer again, smiling down at her. "Now I'm going to let your pappa know your with me so he doesn't worry, and then we are going to go to a place where the grounds a little harder. It will make things easyer to begin with." Smiling at her, aware that he might need to find another way if this one was too difficult, but it was worth a try. He was going to keep trying and eventually find a way so she could talk to others.
Smiling at her and giving his head a nod toward her home. "Now come with me and we will talk to your father. I can't leave you alone in the woods really, but if you promise not to wonder from here I could go alone. So can you give me a nod for stay or a shake for go... which would you like to do?"

Sy calmed down, stopped flapping and the cloudy stallion a hug.
'My wings are getting stronger, but I understand.'
She hung on his every word, concentrating on ever syllable.
'Daddy would worry if I wandered. harder ground? If it take harder ground for people to understand, okay then.'
Most people could tell when Sy was thinking about things, she usually looked up to the sky or focused on one object, if angry she'd pull an angry face, her facial emotions displayed what she thought.
Sy skipped along side him with a wide smile, she looked up to him, to hell would she wander to miss a chance to learn to communicate, she shook her head, and giggled, letting out little wheeze and air noises.
