It had been many days since he had seen the mare he had once called "Wrath", and Richmon began to wonder whether or not the mare was making any progress down her path of healing. It would take time; Healing, like walking, could only be taken one step at a time. Richmon nodded to himself as he thought of the mare and flared his wings, with one massive heave he vaulted into the air. He flew swiftly, scanning the grounds below with his glowing yellow eyes for the pale blue mare. It was his responsibility, after all, to mend what he had broken.

It had been a good week for Akahi. She was still hurting and confused from the admissions she'd made to Richmon, from realizing that all she'd done since having her children had been ... Well, a mistake. She'd been so wrong and it was hard for her to say aloud. Akahi had known things were wrong, that they stemmed from her and how she'd reacted to everything, but it hurt to think about. It hurt her so deeply in her heart that it caused a terrible burning in her chest. Not this week, though. This week she'd opened up, just a little. Then she'd seen a friend from her old herd. A friend in an unlikely place that had gone through a similar situation. The only difference had been how her friend had treated the situation, and Akahi admired the mare and wished she could have been so strong. Ultimately though, it made the blue mare wish that Richmon could have seen it. That he could have been there to witness her breakthrough and see her reconnect with a healing part of her past. Maybe he and Indah could be what she needed to heal in the future. Like a perfect circle. So, the once completely shattered mare looked up to the sky and waited. He'd appear, he always did, just when she needed him the most.

A spec of blue that passed beneath Richmon managed to catch the corner of his eye. He hadn't seen the figure very well, he had been looking to either side rather than beneath himself, so he circled around to get a better view. This time he flew slower, and as he drew closer to the blue figure he could recognize the long beaded mane and darker swirls in the blue coat that was 'Wraths'. He folded his wings and dived, falling from the air only to flare his wings once he was close enough to the ground (and Wrath) to glide quietly up to the mare. Ebony hooves landed silently only a few feet from Wrath. Richmon nodded to the pale blue mare, a greeting of sorts. "Good evening.." He said quietly, hoping to have not startled her.

She'd spotted him before he had even turned around to be sure that he'd seen her. Just as she'd predicted, he was here when she thought of him. It was confusing to her that such an imposing and ... Impossible stallion such as Richmon had been whom Akahi had turned to for help. He was slowly becoming a part of her thought process as she tried to work through her past and her anger. Not romantically, mind you, she was still lost on what to do about Tempest; but still - Richmon was there. He was in her mind and standing before her.
Turning her head to smile so softly at him, she nodded in greeting. "Hello Judge." The blue mare didn't say it in a condescending manner, just simply, the way he called her Wrath. It was a fact. "What has brought you this way, Richmon?" She wondered, as she was oft to do, if maybe he was psychic and could know when he was needed.

Richmon took in the way Wrath called him Judge, playing it over in his mind for a moment. After all the times he had judged her she had not once called him judge, yet now that her judgment had passed and she was healing from the anger she had had to let go of in order to be cleansed she now called him Judge. He guessed it was only befitting, since he still called her Wrath. "In all honesty, Ma'am..." Richmon replied once he was through mulling over his new apparent nick-name. "I simply came to see how you were doing. It has been some time since we last spoke. I hope you have been doing well?"

"I have been doing better than I thought I could at this stage of my ... " What was it called? Stage of life? No, that wasn't right. Stage of healing? That wasn't quite it either. Where she was with herself right now was more a combination of the two things. Akahi was living, she was healing, but she still felt like there was something missing. Like there needed to be more. Letting her eyes drift down to her hooves as she thought it over she noticed the bits of wet grass stuck and dried to her lower legs.
Not knowing what to say, she changed the subject. "I met an old friend from my herd." It probably didn't say much to Richmon, but having a friend was interesting enough(he knew that much); but, to have a friend from the herd that had chased her away for whom she'd chosen to love- Well, that was a big deal indeed. "She has her own grown son," she continued softly. "A half-kalona stallion that was bestowed upon her without her ... Blessing." Why was she telling him this? It wasn't her place. "I don't know how she does it."
Ah, and there it was. Akahi was hurt and confused that someone who had been raised the same as she had reacted to a same instance so very differently. The aging mare didn't know who to turn to about these conflicted feelings, and the Richmon was there. There and asking how she was doing. So she talked. "It was warming and wonderful to see an old friend, but I feel the need to be with my new one. Will you stay for awhile and tell me how you have been?"

Richmon nodded, stoically absorbing all that the mare said to him. He found it curious and interesting how Wrath acted as she spoke. It was almost as if she was happy, yet.. disheartened? Sad? He couldn't quite tell. He assumed she was glad to have met a friend; most soquili considered friends to be family of a sort. Yet as she spoke of the mare she seemed to be hesitant.
Richmon mulled over the possibilities, yet he could not see why seeing a friend helped and hurt the pale blue mare before him. Hurt... That is what he was picking up on. Why would seeing a mare who experienced a similar encounter hurt her? It was a boon really. Perhaps Richmon was simply thinking on it too much. He didnt feel the way others did so he couldnt understand the simplicity of it all. Oh well...
There was yet a lot of healing to be done for Wrath. But this friend, she would be key in this healing process despite the pain she caused. Wrath had said in their last meeting that it was she that had to forgive herself before she could continue on - Richmon had accepted it, it was true. But forgiveness was not the only thing needed apparently; she needed guidance. The mare before him, despite being strong of will and body and mind, seamed weak in spirit due to her cleansing. She was in a new world, so to speak, lost and confused with no clue what to do. Richmon could be no use there, he had never gone through anything like she had. Her friend though had evidently treed those very grounds before and overcame her trials. She could show Wrath the way through this new world, teach her.
Richmon blinked as Wrath mentioned her new friend though, his mind momentarily leaving the thoughts of how Wraths old friend could aid in her healing. So, she was already strong enough to go out and seek new friendship and company. She was healing well. Soon she would be able to make a new life for herself and seek out her son. "I can.. " Richmon said quietly with a slight nod. "But would that not keep you from meeting with your new friend?" Yet again he had thought too much into it. He could not see himself as being the one Wrath thought of as a friend.

Akahi watched him from the corner of her eye as he took in everything she was saying. It was obvious she had confused him when she hadn't meant to. Maybe her Judge wasn't the best one to speak to these particular things about. She knew that it would be a strange journey for herself and those few close to her while she taught herself all over again to rebel against those damning beliefs she'd been raised with. How was it such a world could be physically so close and yet so very, very, far away?
Smiling as he agreed to stay to talk to her, she turned to look at the side of his face head-on as he asked if he'd be keeping her from her new friend. Did he not see himself as her friend? ... Did he not see her as a friend? Watching him stunned silence, blinking in disbelief a few times as she did so, she watched as he continued to mull over it. Trying so very hard not too laugh to hard, she stepped close enough to him to press her nose against his cheek for a split second. Like one would to say 'hello' to an old friend. Chuckling as she stepped backwards and out of his personal space Akahi shook her head.
"I meant you, Judge." She said it simply and politely. "When I said I would like to have my new friend near, I meant you." Oi, this stallion was a challenge no matter which way she looked at it.

"I'm..." Richmon said, slightly confused. "A friend?" He asked. He had once had a foal ask if he could be a friend, and as he understood it a friend was like an extension of family. He had said yes, but he himself had not considered himself a friend; and he had not seen the foal since. Had this mare that he for so long had tried to cleanse come to think of him as family? It was an odd feeling, new to him. He turned to look at Akahi, he scanned her, looking her over from head to hoof. Had she gone insane? He had not stayed still for very long in the past year, living in a new place each and every day. How could one that rarely visited the other be considered a friend. Family was close knit and cared for each other, helped each other in their times of need and strived for the others to have the very best that life could give them.
Well... he guessed one might considder him a friend on those grounds. But his reasoning behind helping her was he had caused the damage to her; it was his job. He could not be considered a friend, he should not. But free will was a gift from above, and if she chose for him to be a friend it was not his place to deny her that possibility.
And then there was the touch from the mare. He had never touched another before, not with his flesh. He had never been touched by another before either. He wasnt sure if this was right; one was susposed to keep their distance. Maintain their boundaries. No, it couldnt be right, but it didn't seem wrong... Could it be? He wrote it off as 'Wrath' accidentally bumping into him the second she backed up out of his personal space.
It still confused him though. Why did she think of him as a friend? And... Why did he have this new feeling? He felt... He could not describe it. Having never felt anything before it was odd to him. It was as though he was ment to be here. As if for once he was accepted by those around him. Acceptance... That was what it was. Slowly, as if the muscles refused to work, Richmon's lips reluctantly turned up into a smile. "Why?"
