Why hadn't she come home yet? Falcon was in a pure state of panic when he left their little den of sorts, beginning to hunt in all the obvious places he figured she would be. His ears swiveled this way and that, eyes narrowed and pupils thin as he hunted for her endlessly.
It was the scream that tipped him off...panic rushed through him, and he rushed in the direction of the scream. Falcon had never heard her scream before...not like that..but something deep in the pit of his stomach told him it was her, and that she needed to get there as soon as possible.
"Beni!" He cried, skidding to a stop to swivel his ears again, eyes wide at the strong scent of blood. Panting, he rushed after the scent of the blood, finding a small trail right before...he found her. "Beni--" She was covered..in blood..and ripped apart, it was obvious she had been attacked. The strong scent of another male made his fur bristle, jaw clenched and fangs biting into his lower lip as he circled her, making sure to approach her from the front.
"Baby--baby..I'm here, Beni, oh god Beni.." He lifted his hands, afraid to touch her as he stepped up to her slowly, gently touching her blood-soaked hair once he was close enough.
