Hey everyone.
I'm quite new to this guild; as I'd never been on the lookout for anyone's help til there was nowhere else to turn.
This current account used to be a mule; but now it's taken the place of my main (xMatae); which had fallen victim to Gaia's inferior banning method in the case of "botting".
I do not bot; never have.
I'd always followed the rules.
I found vending to be the only enjoyable thing about this site.
It's what I do almost all the time here.
I had spent hours everyday vending so that I could finally reach my goal of Nitemare Mini Wings.
Over a span of months I had acquired a hefty sum of 43 million gold as a result of my hardwork and a couple $25 dollar Gaia Cash Cards here and there; probably $100 in total.
Well one day my trading pass got disabled; and the hoards I had purchased and all cheap items I had in storage were no longer any good to me, as I could not sell them for profit at that moment; which in turn could cause a great loss over a span of days.
I waited patiently for the investigation to come to and end.
One morning, to my surprise I had come to find my account BANNED.
In absolute shock, I submitted a ticket in order to explain that this was a mistake.
This is the case on my ban.
And this is what every one of you should take heed of.
From what I've seen here, it's apparent that any one of you are at risk of being banned just for refreshing.
Of course using a botting program is ban worthy; but in my case I used nothing more than my human finger.
I'm sure most of you are vendors.
You know that in order to snag cheap items you must sit and refresh on the "just added" page so you might have a better chance at viewing the cheap item before someone else does, thus giving you a better chance at buying it before another user does.
This is my case.

thats horrible, though i have seen you in the vend before. back in the day lol
i wouldve never suspected you of botting =|
though i doubt theres anything we can do about your account, we can still make this issue very apparent

I just wish there was a more solid method of banning.
From this particular instance, it's clear that the decision to ban is made without actually knowing if the refreshing was manual or in fact automated.
Of course this would be very hard to determine, but actions like inputting a password; buying and selling items should negate any suspicions of botting.
And that was my case.
It's just common sense to me.

That's why I won't ever spend excessively on Gaia. Well this is sad because you really cant prove something due to assumptions like think this theres hackers and theres vendors which ones more dangerous the hacker or the vendor hacker but vending i dont see how you would get banned. Because your mainly making money quickly and its not cheating. I think gaia needs to get this crap straight cause many ppl can be endangered by this all this site does is take your money and bann your acc. Though you may think different but this is a sad story this just proves gaia is just lazy i am sorry to the user who got banned, gaia you need to fix this crap or else this site will be nothing. Due to your awful desicion making because you obviously can't figure whats fact and whats not.

Ah, thanks man; though in the end it was all for naught.
I'm nowhere near as much as I used to be worth.
And I quit vending, since I'm convinced now that no matter how hard I try in gaining gold, they'll find a false reason to ban me again anyway.

wow. hi matae. i just randomly found you .. recognized the name. dk if you remember me..
im sorry all this bull happened to you. i vend alot now to and ive gotten those pages so many times. now this... =/
you did put up a really good fight with them. i honestly dont see how there thinking. its apparently not very clear. -Again gaias all about the money. when everyone leaves because they decide to ban them", this whole site will shut down.

Thats total bullsh-t they have no proof you botted yet they banned you anyway gaia wont get away with this crap forever soon or later some ones gonna go ape sh-t and wont stop tell they change things

I applaud you for sticking up to them for all the innocent banned from "assumed botting". You truly deserve every recognition you get, you really do. I agree completely with what you said 100%. And the solution is perfect. I don't know why Gaia is that hardheaded for using your solution to stop giving out gold when they visit various pages. You really opened my eyes, and many other Gaians, as well. Again, props to ya, man. You're a hero to us all.
