The Herd Of The Imps, lived in a wide and open valley, one that not many ventured to, somewhere peaceful and out of the way were Joseph could see his family safe. He was a very over protective father, one that any child would love to act because even though he was a prince charming, he was also a very fun, kind and... somethimes a little over the top. Which just added to his charm. He was next to his lovely wide, nibbling on some blades of grass, his giant head wings happily flapping away, he was getting visitors today. Even though the family was very close his eldest batch of children had their own lives, so he loved when they came to see him. He bet their little brothers and sisters loved it just as much, alas his second bunch of children had also grown up and he feared it would not be too long before they left him too. In a way he already thought it was happening. His youngest Rosabis had been disapearing at night and if it was not for his mate begging him to to make a scene or invade her privacy the secrete would be out right now. The thought of his children sneaking around was a nightmare, especially because he always linked it to naughty activities. His girls were HIS girls and no male could have them! He looked up at the sky with a small smile on his face before he leant over and nuzzled the side of Taharial's face. "Excited?"
Terentia was already there, she came from the other side of the lands so she had come the night before to stay, something was up. She felt it in her stomach. Such a family gathering must mean something. She had no doubt in her heart the family did not love to spend time together, however this was different and even though she had only knew them for a few weeks, she knew when something was up. Then again maybe if it was Kaiya and Glahad that would be the case, this might be different. She smiled and approached her parents looking out across the land for signs of life. The morning sun was high in the sky, beating down warm and strong, it was a wonderful day. It really was. She smiled and closed her eyes the breeze blowing her long hair, hearing the sound of bells ring in her ears, that must be Alex. She was curious to meet the women who stole his heart, she was sure everyone was. Out of them all she had grown closest to Alex the most, it must be because he was so much like Galahad. It gave her comfort in a strange place. She was happy she got along with everyone, she always thought her mother would hate her, however her heart lifted when she got to know how wonderful Taharial was. Despite this, Kaiya had raised her and she always will love her and call her Mother. A mother is a blessing, so with two, Terentia was truly blessed.
"Coooooooooome on KAI!" Rosabis called back to her friend as she skipped forward towards her home, she was meaning to intorduce him to her family for a while. It was not often she made close friends and for some reason she thought him and her father would get along something amazing. She hummed to herself, her little wings flapping along to the song in her head. "Its over here!" she called and smiled as she ran up a hill to see her parents and older sister already there waiting for her. Looks like she was not last! "Hiiiiiii!" she called down to them with a small smile checking over her shoulder one more time to see if he was keeping up, more so to make sure he had not run away, if so she would have to hunt him down! Looking back over to her home a smile came across her face, she loved this place, she loved her family. THEY WERE ALL GOING TO BE HERE! ALL OF THEM THIS IS GOING TO BE SO FREAKING AWESOME! She ran down the hill towards them, running straight into her mother nuzzling her side, even though she was fully grown her mother still towered her. She did not mind with her though, mums were meant to be big and cuddly.

Taharial had awoken that morning to a bright and sunny day, with Eden in full bloom glazed in an emerald glow. It was perfect and it picked the right day to look dazzling. She was finally going to get to see her eldest babies once again and that lifted the mothers spirits to the highest. She couldn't stop smiling. Every time her mind drfited off to its own little land, she imagined her small daughter Neria bounding over to her father all excited after not seeing each other for weeks. Like it used to be every single day and Alex trailing over the plain with his head held high, proud and respectable as always with his mate, a beautiful and lucky mare. Taharial sighed gently, reminiscing over the past years and looked over to her beloved mate when he leaned over and nuzzled her cheek affectionately. "Of course dear. I can't wait. Especially to meet their mates. I'm happy our little ones found love at last." When the sound of bells rang through the air, she turned her head in the direction, knowing it could of only been one of the three considering Terentia was already with them "OOf!" Taharial squeaked slightly as Rosabis jumped into the side of her unexpectedly. She had become used to her youngest, the hyperactive one who was always on the go. She wondered where she got her energy from. Returning the nuzzle she looked behind her, blinking blankly at the strange figure following awkwardly behind. 'Aww so this is who Rosie has been sneaking out at night with...' Taharial cast a knowing smile to her daughter, not being able to help the small following chuckle.
Alex walked up the mountain side after going back to the coast to collect his mate Coraline. He'd been thinking of this day for a long time, wondering when it would come. He just never expected it to be this quick. He studied the beauty of his mate who walked aside him in an undying grace and smiled warmly, realizing what a lucky guy he was. To have someone who would wait for him all that time, even after that day. She must of thought him an idiot, just staring at her for as long as he had out of the corner of his eyes, deep in thought. After a small stumble, he regained his balance and switched his gaze from Coraline and to the entrance to Eden in the side of the mountain. "Its just through here now. I'm sorry you've had to travel all this way just to meet my family." He laughed lightly casting her a small smile. "Just be warned." Fumbling a half wonky smirk he spoke again. "They're what you'd call... A little bit crazy." When they came through the short tunnel, there was the wide open plain, with pearly white figures waiting for them in the center of it. Either sides were caked in forest and just behind it hidden a large waterfall. 'Here we go... Just wait till dad see's Coraline.' He thought, sweat beading.

Coraline had been hesitant at first, she wouldn't deny it. It seemed that whenever she trekked out into the 'wild' that was nothing like her cave by the coast, something bad seemed to happen. And so she despised and dreaded going out there by herself. But when Alexander offered her the journey to meet with his family, Cory couldn't refuse. And there was one difference - all the difference in the world - that made this journey far less perilous-appearing to her: she was with Alex.
Her mate has been looking at her almost the entire time they were walking, but her rosy blush wasn't there to meet his stare; Her own eyes were preoccupied with the scenery they passed. Coraline has never traveled quite this far and it amazed her. When Alex made note of their coming to his family's land, however, she snapped to attention. "Oh, Alex, meeting your family is worth the travel! And it wasn't like it was tedious; this land interests me a lot... And if I hadn't come I'd spend a great amount of time without you, which would be unacceptable." She nuzzled his neck gently and smiled at his next remark, "crazy, huh? Wonder what they'll think of me at first sight.." The laughter that followed that statement was soaked in nerves, for she saw them: Alex's family, gorgeous figures across an equally enthralling scene. 'Well, Coraline, this is it...'

It had been a few weeks since the incident and since Sylar and Neria had confessed their new found feelings for each other. Even if that night had turned horrible in the short amount of time they had known each other, it had indeed worked out for the best. Sylar had been under Neria's care, living in a homely cave at the base of the mountain. For the two of them, walking up to Eden wasn't as much of a trail than for Terentia and Alex, but it was a lot of effort, with Sylar's wounds not being completely healed yet. With a happy and relieved smile, the headwinged alicorn turned two loving eyes onto the dark coated stallion that stood beside her. She skipped forwards then had to pause in the bounce. "ooo" she winced. "Maybe I shouldn't be doing that so soon now my belly has gotten bigger!" She giggled, swaying gently side to side and watching as the fat belly swayed too. Returning to what she was actually worried about, she again glanced at Sylar and turned, wandering up to the front of him and nuzzling his cheek carefully. "Are you sure your up for this? Meeting my family so soon I mean."

Ugh, family gatherings! Just what the docter ordered. Zeeke was happy about being able to see his older brother and sisters again. Especially Alex. He was the cool knight who he had learned most of his techniques from except this time, their wouldn't be much more to learn now that big bro had brought his chick home with him. Zeeke frowned laid by a tree in the shade away from the huge group. Yes, he was paddying and he had done that the whole morning. When the chimes of the angeni rung though, he lifted his head briefly and saw the amazing white stallion and the girl of Alex's dreams beside him. He sighed. Nothing usually bothered Zeeke but he was jealous! He didn't want no girl stealing all of his brothers attention away from him. 'Juuuuust great. Here we go, fangirl squeals and giggles and lovey dovey couples everywhere and where am I stuck? The loner with Roxanne. I know, maybe I could tease the new guy.' He thought, spirits lifting and eyes raising to see Kai trotting along behind his sis, Rosie. 'Diiiiiirteh stop out.' The angeni grinned inwardly and finally after stropping most of the morning got to his feet and trotted over to the mini mare, his mother and father and lastly, halted with his gaze over the starry stranger.

Why had he agreed to do this? Kai wondered as he followed Rosie through Eden and towards a group of four winged soquili. It was daytime for one and a gathering for another point. He wasn't fond of crowds and this wasn't jsut any crowd but a family meet. He didn't see the point and he didn't know why she had to bring him to it. They would of surely got the wrong idea anyway. He paused quite a distance away, looking towards the forest that circled Eden and let the scenery take his interest until his eyes set on a familiar face. 'What is HE doing here?' He thought, glaring in Jo's direction. Kai remembered what it was like when they first met a long time ago, the teasing, the random flirting and he was a dude! With a small grumble he glared over towards the blonde bimbo. "Long time no see. Looks like you've been getting busy." He smirked, raising his head whilst ignoring the eyeballing from the male angeni.

The once-a-foal rested under a tree on a lonely hill, watching the excitement down below with an excitement of his own fluttering his still-young little heart. He'd been adopted into the herd a while ago, now, but he'd gotten used to the huge difference in appearance between himself and the rest of his family. It didn't make him feel less different, knowing he was adopted into the herd in the first place, but he was always just as happy to see the others he'd come to know as his siblings and parentals as the others were when he opened his eyes... More so when his adoptive mother, Neria, came home.
He sat under his tree, waiting for her promised return, wondering if she'd fallen to the season of love as others of the herd had, and curious what the chosen male might look like, if she had. ~Could that be why momma's been sneaking out all the time?~

"Don't rush yourself, we have plenty of time to spare. I'm sure that we'll be there soon," The dark stallion that stood close to Neria spoke, keeping himself close to her side, as always. He had to walk at a slow pace because of the wounds that still pained his leg and shoulder. And if he had to take his time, then she should as well. "You don't want to strain yourself," Sylar continued, gently nudging her cheek with his nose. He didn't know much about this 'pregnancy' thing that Neria was going through but the way that she made it sound, Sylar knew that she should be keeping it easy until her condition went away. Sylar gave Neria a reassuring smile when she nuzzled him, returning the gesture. Taking in a deep breath, he offered Neria a smile (One that was reserved just for her) and said "I told you, I'd enjoy meeting your family. I want to. It's just, I feel nervous." Sylar was being honest with her, knowing that she wouldn't laugh at him, or at least not in a cruel way. Nudging her neck with his head, Sylar started walking again.

Jo looked over at his youngest daughter with a small smile, she was so cute, so small like a little fairy. He turned to look around to see who she was calling out to, then over the hill came a familiar figure, he was speechless as he came closer to him, then his eyes and his face seemed to light up. "KAI!" he exclaimed, jumping forward and nuzzling the side of his face. "Its you, how? I dont care I am so happy you are back, look guys my best friend came to see me! Taharial, this is Kai, I have told you about him before surely, I have been busy, this is my lovely mate Tah and if you stick around you will see my 6 children and my Grandson, he is the dark and green stallion over there." His words all seemed to flood out at once, he would never call Raven adopted, to Jo he was as family as if he was blood. It was the same with all of them. He was family.
Rosabis looked on as her father seemed to be all over her friend, was she not aloud anything to herself? Kai was HER friend, SHE found him. She pouted slightly. Stepped forward to her father, her head barely reached his back, then again Jo was a big stallion, even though he seemed to be chattering on and ignoring her she still protested. "Hey! Daddy! Hey! Leave him alone! He is MY best friend!!" She called before she went back to her mum with a huff her nose up in the air. Sometimes she just wanted to bite him. Then looking over the horizon, she saw a familiar figure coming forth. That of her sister. She smiled and took off running. "Neria!" She called soon coming to a stop in front of her... just kidding, she did what she did with her mother, ran straight into her giving her a huge hug and nuzzle, too happy to notice she was nuzzling more than what she was used to or to see the male who was with her. There could have been a Kalona there and despite the fact she would be dead she would not notice.
Terentia smiled on watching her family interact with each other, she knew there was never a dull moment with them, she looked back at Raven and gave him a small smile, to try and invite him down to spend some time with them. Whilst everyone was busy, she noticed her brother come into Eden, just by were Raven was. So smiled and slowly made her way near him. She thought she would let the family get on with it, Jo could only concentrate on one thing at once, so his brain cells were getting attached to Kai. "Hello brother. So this is the lovely Cory. Its nice to meet you finally. Welcome." She smiled, Terentia always wanted people to feel comfortable, being new to this place herself the memory of being the new member still stuck in her head, it could be a bit over powering, especially with the strong personalities within the family.

Sai's attention was slave. As far as he remembered, although his memory at the moment was fuzzy, he was the only one who didn't call his mother Neria in the whole valley. Needless to say, he'd come to recognize the name when one of his aunts, uncles, and grandparents said it, and her sight meeting his eyes confirmed the glee that drove space between his belly and the ground and nearly kept his hooves off of them. This, of course, didn't last long, as he drove them into the sod and drove down the hill towards his mother gleefully. He could almost have passed for a colt, if not for his size and the volume of the muscles pulsing accross his legs.
As he neared Neria's position, though, he seemed to notice a discrepency in his speed: He was moving too fast. He barely managed to skid to a safe halt inches beside the white mare before he lay his head accross her back, smiling softly. The smile turned curious as his bright green eyes glanced down, and he picked himself up to look at her swollen belly. "Ma, you're looking... bigger...?" He glanced over at aunt Rosabis as if she was supposed to tell him if that was the right way to phrase it, unsure himself. He mused for a moment that it was interesting to think of a mare so much younger than he as his aunt, but he was used to it, by now. It made sense to him, since he was adopted into the family, anyways.
His eyes were bright and happy when he turned to Neria again and pulled his hooves out of the rolled grass layers, nuzzling her cheek softly. "Glad you're back, mom." He nickered softly at her, unaware the male next to her for a moment, before he caught a flash of dark fetlock and peered around the mare's head. "... Hello..." He muttered, looking over the male's color as a few shocks of his own neon-striped mane fell into view.

Neria nodded at her mate and happily followed along. She was quite glad, once heading up the steep mountain trail that Sylar was injured and had to keep a steady pace. She could feel it in her that if they were to walk at a normal one, she probably wouldn't make it half way! Neria would never ask for a break though, she would make the effort all the way instead of slowing them both down. A few times she had to keep herself up and had clung to sylar with heavy breath, helping them both up to the entrance of Eden. She flashed him a comforting smile and headed into the entrance, shortly coming out to see the rest of her family in the center. Alex was already here, that came as a surprise and the rest was gathering by Rosie and a new male. She tilted her head until her younger sister caught sight of her and sped up to her destination. 'EEP!' Neria thought with panic, what if she would run into her stomach!! Neria closed her eyes tight awaiting the big 'OOF' but it was only a little thud and then she felt the warmth of the tiny mare at her side and when re-opening her eyes, she saw her baby cuddling her too. "Oh wow! Hello you two! Who knew I was loved this much!" She chuckled with a pleased smile and then blinked blankly at her son's statement.
".. I am!?" She flushed wild shades of red. "Hehe, too many berries maybe?" She gave the two of them nuzzles and shared cuddles with them before edging towards Sylar so he didn't feel left out. "Rosie, Sairenli. This is my mate, Sylar. Want to greet him?"
____________________________________________
Zeeke sighed when he was ignored, a stuck up one? Eh? he would know his place eventually. With a half fumbled frown he turned around and began to walk to somewhere he would get attention or maybe he just didn't need it. He would stay in the shade, or sunbathe all day. Yeah that is what he would do. He laid down in a patch where the sun shone and lazed. Irritated by the lack of attention.

'6 children?' Kai looked at Jo as if he wasn't expecting anything else from the stallion. He knew how much he wanted a family of his own, from what he used to ramble on about to him in the past and, now he had that and he had been befriended by his daughter. Funny how that had worked out. Kai nodded in his quiet mannor per usual and looked to the side once his Grandson had been mentioned, hardly looking like any of the other soquili but Kai didn't question it, he knew what it was like having been an Orphan himself. "Hello." He smiled finally at Jo's mate then turned back to face his old friend, hearing Rosie's complaints over and over in a ball of echo's actually relieved when she ran to greet another arrival. "You've got quite the family. All your dreams come true huh?" And still, look where he was. Still the lone wolf he was back then.

(You are all missed.) Sai's eyes scrawled over the stallion warily, and he shortly after picked himself up out of the grass and patted it back against the dirt before trotting around his mother. The serious expression dressing his maw just didn't seem to fit, even for the horse that knew nothing about him until now. Which was okay, because it quickly faded. "Do I get to call him 'Daddy'?" The absolute jubilance was unrestrained, and his voice was a little louder than it might should have been for it. The excitement set the locks of his tail a-wriggle and he adjusted his wings as though he might burst into the sky at any moment. "I do, don't I?" It was like looking at a puppy while holding a shiny new red rubber ball!
