[PRP] A Little Fun? [ Edel and Nana ]

Edel couldn't believe she'd gotten herself into this mess again. And as happy as she was with her first foals, she wasn't so sure about this next one. At least, with Danae and Aquila, she'd been able to find their sire. Now, she had no idea where to find Sciophobia. He ran so fast during the day, he could be one the opposite side of the world for all she knew. Well, she'd just have to make the best of a 'bad' situation!

And so, she was wandering her usual forest route, singing as she went. Her mind was races with stories she was planning to tell her foals as they grew. She really wished she could have someone to test them on, but she didn't have many friends, other then her previous foals, because of her looks. Most people were terrified of her barbed tail and spiky wings.

Nana had evaded her parents once again. As they slept, she went off. They wouldn't agree with her doing such, but she could help it. Once she had a chance to go out and explore, she was going to do it. Exploration was something she definitely enjoyed doing. Along with a few other things. But those would be obvious shortly!

She made her way out of the deep forest. She had explored the area she lived in many of times. That was the only place she could go when her parents were awake, and around. The only way they would let her get any further was if she was with one of them. Hence, her sneaking off. She made her way over and under branches. The crackling sound of leaves and twigs filled the air. She didn't try to be stealthy. Who would really be out here, this deep in the forest, this early morning? She thought no one. But her thoughts were crazy enough to have any idea.

As she happily trotted along, she began to hum. Nothing particularly obvious. Just whatever she made up off the top of her head. This was something she did a lot, hum. But she also didn't realize she was doing it a lot of the time. She became so zoned into what was around her, she didn't realize she was giving herself away all the time. She wasn't fond of running into strangers. But she couldn't help but stick around if she did. She wished she could just up and leave in such situations, but she just couldn't. She was indeed an odd one.

Edel's ears perked up as she heard the sound of small hooves approaching. She glanced around and couldn't spot anyone just yet, but a huge smile crossed her face anyone. There was one thing she loved more then mysteries in the land, and that was foals! She loved her own the most of course, and she'd love the new ones that were growing inside her as well. She'd always though of herself as an excellent single mother. Who needed a stallion to weigh her down? Though occasionally she'd let her mind wander back to that lovely night...

She was shaken from her thoughts when the little filly popped out in front of her path. She blinked, not that the filly could see, and stared down the the adorable little foal. She had wings, which weren't the type Edel was used to seeing. Being small, she often ran into others with flutter wings like herself, but the foal a big black wings, wing that could certainly support her at her normal size. Unlike Edel, who flew at about the size of a small rabbit usually. Not that she minded, it was nice to be small at times. She blinked one more time and then smiled down to the filly, trying to not look all that intimidating.

Nana hadn't noticed the flutter when she had crossed her path. She was minding her own business, paying not attention to the things around her. Which probably wasn't the smartest thing to do, her being a foal and all. You'd never know what kind of trouble she might get into. Running into a bad crowd... Or something. It'd probably be better if she paid SOME attention once and a while. But her attention was caught with a sudden greeting.

Nana looked to where the sound came from quickly! She didn't like to be around strangers. It made her nervous, and she could never say what she was thinking... She could only do that when she was with her siblings. You don't HAVE to be nice to your siblings all the time. And she surely wasn't. Be she couldn't be rude to strangers. Which in turn made her very awkward around them. She didn't like it one bit! But it couldn't be helped. It just happened even if she didn't want it to. I suppose her mother would be proud. Her not being rude to strangers and all.

But this Soq was one she had never seen before! The necklace she wore caught Nana's attention. It was of the moon... and it's phases. Her pelt was also smothered in shooting stars. She looked at her in awe, like she looked at her fathers wings. Her father shared quite the similar feature of this mares pelt. It was filled with sparkling stars. She couldn't help but look at his wings when he was around. She wasn't blessed with that feature. But at least she got his wings, though they were that of a raven. She knew one day she would be able to fly side by side with him in the night sky... Getting distracted with her thoughts, she snapped out of it.

Looking to the mare, she tried to calm down a bit. "H-hi there..." She slightly mumbled.

The little filly seemed to be a bit jumpy, which surprised Edel. Most little foals loved getting attention, and were generally very happy to meet anyone at all, yet this little filly seemed a bit, nervous. She wondered how this could have happened, what kind of parents did she have? If any, she'd adopted enough foals along her way to know that there were several of them that were abandoned by parents, or generally had no idea about how they came to be alone.

However, now was not the time to be thinking about her past, she needed to be looking toward her future. She took a moment to really study the little filly, and the one thing that really stood out was her moon and star marking. She herself was fanatic about those things, she always watched the sky at night for anything new and revealing it might hold. So, she kept up her dazzling smile when she next addressed the filly.

"No need to be shy around me little one~ I'm Edel, and as you can plainly see, I'm gonna be having foals of my own some day." Again actually, but that didn't really matter. She could be mean and hateful to anyone, unless they were foals, she couldn't taint their little minds.
