She was so alone. So broken and hurt. Her family destroyed her, hurt her and noone seemed to see it. Exept for her closest friends. And her oldes brother who cared about her but could do little. They knew she was getting beat, cutting herself, running away. They new her hole family life was a total hell hole. Her mom was out at clubs, her dad was a drug dealer. Neither were home often. She kept the house clean as she could but her siblings would screw it up, just to watch her get introuble or hit by her dad. And school drama followed her easily.
Finally, when the pain and tears were to much, she ended it. She went to her two story house on the roof, and jumped of. Her arms outstretched like wings by her side. She landed on their black cadilac. Her blood forever cought in the windsheild.

She thought it was over...she thought she could finally rest. But she was wrong. The story of her suicide was a lie. She was murdered....by who?She wonderes this earth now. Noone but her friends can see her..talk to her. She is a a ghost. And she can never rest until her story does. Can they help her?

I am called Amy monroe
I am an 18 year old female
I was the girl who died. But didn't get to rest.
I feel that I am lost. I thought I could rest..I was wrong. I know I am dead, but what do I do? Am I doomed to live life again? To watch my friends suffer with me?
My history though is that I am or was a good persone. I loved all of my friends and cared for them, but other than my older brouther life at home was almost to much. Untill evenntualy it was to much. Everyone but my closest friends hated me. I was so happy when near them...but home...was just....killing me.

Just Before An Eclipse
I am called Eric
I am 24 year old male
I was her gay older brother.
I feel that she killed herself. And I'm wrought with guilt for doing nothing.
My history though Our father beat me within an inch of my life, just before I moved out. I kept telling her to move in with me, but she wasn't willing to leave our other siblings. I should have known he'd start on her once I left, but I can't come back or he'd kill me.

other: I have a boyfriend, whom I love, but he doesn't know my past. ((If Silencematter's is willing, someone can play him if they want.))[/

Username: Vetrona
I am called: Emily Perkins
I am: 17
I was: A distant realitive.
I feel that: Personally, I think it's awful that someone would take her own life, but I think there's something missing. After questioning some friends, I believe it was murder.
My history though: Being a very distant realitve, my family didn't have alot of conection with the rest of the family. My father has been a private investigator and he hopes I will be to. But personally, I really don't want to be. I have learned every thing about logic and gone through some extensive training from my, I just didn't want dissipoint him. Anyway, me and my dad decided that I should meet the rest of the family. He paid all expenses and I had just arrived when I found out Amy was dead.

Other: I'm usually serious, but I can giddy at the strangest times.

Earthy Greendragon
I am called Elizabeth Monroe
I am a 15 year old girl
I was Amy's younger sister. We weren't terribly close, I hid myself and was quiet and let her take the brunt of our parent's abuse.
I feel that she was murdered. She had to be. It was probably Dad who pushed her off the roof and I'll get the proof.
My history though is that I was always quiet and tried to ignore that home even existed. I loved to read and got relatively good grades but I never made any friends at school. I didn't make noise or cause problems so mom and dad had no reason to come after me most of the time. The rest of the time Eric or Amy were the ones who got beat. I couldn't say I felt guilty until Amy died. I hadn't realized that I'd been dead inside until that moment. Now my every breath and moment awake is spent trying to find out what really happened to Amy.

other; Izzy has, in her mind, turned Amy into a kind of angel bestowed to this earth by god himself. She's not quite insane but her mind has become a warped after seeing her sister's dead body and from taking on the abuse from their parents. She'll sometimes talks to Amy as if she's actually there, if her spirit is actually around or not

Amy looked around her old room shocked. Everything was in black and white, nothing had color. But everything was exactly as she had left it. Nothing had changed. It shocked her. She walked around her room looking at things. She tried to pick up a stuffed animal on her ned, but her transparent hands couldn't touch it. Her eyes watered.

"I am dead" she whispered.

She looked up at her door still feeling kind of confused. She walked over to her door so that she could look around her home. It felt like floating kind of. She felt so..lost...empty...and losing herself. She walked through her door and into the hallway. It was dark..as she noticed it was dark outside as well. She walked down the hallway slowly and down the staires.

"Why am I here?" she was crying now. Though her family wouldn't be able to see her. None exept her older brother who wasn't home right now.

Eric ran a hand through his hair, accidentally messing it up like he always did when he was nervous. s**t. Amy was late. He knew she probably was just held back: Father getting home before she could sneak out. Clenching his teeth, he tried to ignore the memories that came up just thinking about that man. The mere thought of him made him want to start shaking and hide. It was amazing how long he lasted in that house, but even more that Amy was lasting longer.

Taking out a cigarette, he sat down on his couch, looking around the tiny apartment he managed to rent. It was a comfort to him. He smiled at the memory of him and Amy painting stripes on the walls: simple black and white, because the paint was the cheapest. The couch he had was a faded black, with a coffee table in front of it, which was painted with the remaining paint. It was his. A place clean of his Father. And a hell of a lot better than the streets where he started off in. He imagined changing it, letting it morph into a totally different room with a small change in colors and curtains. That was his dream: interior designing. He wasn't even close, but dreams are what we keep living for, right? He sighed again, breathing out smoke, and wondered what Amy dreamed off. Shaking his head, he told himself it didn't matter. Amy wouldn't start of working on the streets like he did. She'd get a waitressing job, or some thing like that.

Snuffing out the cigarette, he tucked it behind his ear for later. If Amy didn't hurry up, he was going to be smoking something stronger.

It was late that night, the phone rang shrill in Erics apartment. It would be his dad. He had just found amy on his car..she wasn't moving and her dad had called Eric over. The phone cept ringing and ringing waiting to be picked up. A shadow crossed the top of their houe and then vanished. Amys father standing outside grumbling about how Amy had busted his car when she fell on it ignored it thinking it was trees. When in truth it was her killer.

Amy lay motionless her skin looked pale white, and transparent looking on the black car. Blood painted the windsheild, and her crystal like green eyes stared open but looking at nothing.

Eric jumped at the sound. s**t, with all the long shifts he'd been working to keep this apartment, this room, it seemed like every time he sat down, he started falling asleep. Secretly hoping it was his boyfriend, Eric smoothed his hair so that it fell cutely over his face (not that the recipient could see) and picked the phone off its cradle. "Hello?" He checked the clock sitting beside the phone, and his eyes widened, "Amy?" he asked hopefully. She was very late. Usually if she was this late, she'd call. Please let it be her.

Their dad grew anoyed at him asking for amy. "Why don't you answer your phone boy and no its not Amy!" He snapped. He ran a hand through his filthy hair and looked at Amy again disgusted. "You need to come down here now..and call the cops...Am'y dead" he said sounding as if the hole thing annoyed him more than it bothered him. "Hell she's getting blood all over my car how am I going to pay for this" he muttered into the phone and then hung up.
PostPosted: Sun Feb 28, 2010 12:59 pm

"D-dead?!" Eric's knees gave out and he slid to the ground. He felt like he couldn't breathe. How? He knew how, that b****** of a father they had. He barely digested whatever the jerk said before the harsh dial tone broke his trance. Dropping the phone, he stood up. He had to get there to help Amy. He tugged on his denim jacket, and was halfway out the door before he realized he should call the cops first. Before his dad could run. He returned to his phone, cursing that he couldn't afford a cell phone, and dialed the magic three numbers.

Since he could afford a portable one, he walked out his door, locking it behind him, as he listened to the receptionist answer. After reporting it as quickly as possible--so quickly that he had to repeat himself three times--he stuck the phone in his pocket and set off at a run. He was in no way fit, but his lean body enjoyed running. At least for the short distance to their 'home.' He'd wanted to get as far as possible away from him--across the country--but Amy's pull had been too strong.

He reached their run down lot within minutes, and glanced around. s**t that was a lot of blood. Still he ran over to her pale body, grabbing her wrist to check for a pulse. Failing at that, he tried the neck. The skin was cold. He choked, the hiccuped, trying to keep from crying. Dammit, this should have been him. He should have stayed.

Their dad was there when Eric arived. He was just comming back outside. He knew the cops were comming so he ran inside to hide the pot he kept incase they had wanted to do a search. He came back out and wanted to move Amy but that would looks suspiciouse to the cops so he didn't do anything. He worked on making himself look hurt and close to tears and extremly ngry. Wich wasn't hard to do, because he was tottaly ticked off that she had fallen, on his car, and goten blood all over it.

"What the hell is wrong with her. What did she just jump off the roof? Idiot I knew my good for nothing daughter would kill herself!" he yelled angrily. He didn't care that Eric was there. Everyone knew he had a reputation for not caring about amy or his oldest son.

"stop snivling you wimp Amy wouldn't want you to cry" he snapped trying to move Eric away from Amy. The sound of sirens grew louder and the wind blew. This night was truly a cold one.
PostPosted: Sun Feb 28, 2010 1:21 pm

Eric snapped, and tried to push at his dad. "Goddammit, do you ever care?!" He wasn't strong, and the push was feeble, but he didn't stop. He continued to punch him, trying to at least hurt him a little bit of what he'd done to Amy. "Why the hell did you do it!"

Their dad shoved Eric away from him and then hit him in the face. "Stop it boy! I didn't do this! you think I would screw up my car that way just to get rid of someone!" he yelled as the cops and an ambulance arived.

Amy heard yelling from outside the house and she forced herself to go outside. Of course she wasn;t going to be seen yet it was just her presence, but she could see everything just fine. She saw her brother and dad fighting and then she saw herself. Tears streamed down her face. "stop!" she screamed not knowing that Eric could hear but not see her.

((Sorry for not posting earlier...))

Just like many times before, Eric fell to the pavement under his father's blow. He glared at him, hatred obvious in his eyes, and started to get up. The sudden sound he heard made he jerk and stumble, while he looked wildly around for the source. His gaze flicked back to the corpse still sprawled across the car, and he winced minutely. Even if he thought he heard Amy's voice, it didn't come from h-it. He'd read plenty of crime novels, especially Laurel K. Hamilton, and he knew to declassify himself from it. Otherwise he was going to throw up beside those pretty azaleas.

Telling himself he didn't actually hear her, he turned towards the sound he heard for sure: loud sirens. Shaking his head, he realized that there wasn't any way he could have heard anything above that screeching noise. He ran over towards the EMTs exiting the abulance, and called out, "I couldn't find a pulse...but she, she..." He choked up again, moving out of the way as two men hurried forward, leading a stretcher between them.

The first man, a rookie, almost stumbled seeing the young girl crumpled on top of that fine car. The stretcher he was guiding hit his hip by a sharp thrust from his partner. Glancing back over his shoulder, he hurried to the bloody body. His job was to check her breath. Blood was Jimmy's. 'Just focus on the job,' he kept muttering under his breath, as he first ran a hand over her mouth to see how she was managing on her own, then started to attach a oxygen mask on her delicate face. Her crystal green eyes seemed like they were piercing him. Didn't dead people always close their eyes?

Jimmy shook his head. Dang it, he should have led. He knew this was a possible death, but they hadn't gotten much information from the short 9-11 call that boy had. Jimmy was all work the moment they reached the body. Taking her wrist he started to check for a pulse, and frowned. Putting a temporary monitor on her neck, he tried to electronically find her pulse. Failing, he ordered his partner,, Richard, "Help me get her flat." His eyes flicked to the two family members. One, a young boy was standing just outside of their 'bubble' trying not to hinder in anyway, but his concern was blatant. The other one was scowling, especially as the two police officers started striding towards him.

Flattening her body so that he'd get an open area, and ripping her shirt to reveal actual flesh he smoothed the electro-shock pads ((I know I should know what they're called, but I'm not sure at the moment...)) onto her chest. In a firm voice he called, "Clear!" and checking to make sure that no one was touching the car at all, he shocked her. The rookie jumped with her body, and the young boy hiccuped. He checked, for a pulse then repeated, "Clear!" After a third time he cursed, checking his watch. "She's DOA at 10:07 PM." Carefully, Jimmy and the other EMT lifted the girl onto the stretcher. Almost lovingly Jimmy brushed a hair out of her face, then closed her eyes, much to Richard's relief. Then they led her towards the ambulance's open doors, passing the boy who started sobbing again.

The two officers reached the man, and instantly they didn't like him. From the squad car they'd seen his presumable son on the ground, and that just was never a good sign. Still the younger cop appeared friendly and concerned. Jeff was a people person, completely unlike his buddy Alfred. That's probably why they worked so well together. "Good evening sir. I'm sorry for your loss, but we were wondering, can you tell us what happened tonight sir?" Lots of sirs usually made a guy feel important. An damn he was; a criminal is always important to a cop.
