 Momo was out and about gathering some food to store for the winter. With her favorite season past she could only get excited for next year's autumn. So many beautiful colors, but yet the sight of white was a bit calming so she didn't mind.
She sniffed the air before heading back out into the winter storm. It definitely was tough, a blizzard for that matter. "Heh...I can survive this." She was getting rather weak and tired even though she pressed on searching for some more food to last through the winter.

 Casper loved winner, it was his best hunting season because he blended in right with the snow. But Casper, always shy and not one to hurt someone, did not take much advantage of this fact. He had caught a few rabbits and kept them safe from theives to eat when he needed to. He didn't hunt needlessly. He was only out in the storm to stretch his legs when he thought he saw some movement. He crept closer and realized that it was another fox, and by the looks of it the fox wasn't doing to well so Casper ran over to it, to try and help.

Momo watched as a white object approached her. She could barely make out what it was. "Huh?" She squinted her eyes but saw only two eyes looking at her before passing out from weariness.

Casper grabbed the female fox and pulled her over his shoulder, carrying her back to his cave where he lay her in a corner. Gathering up some food stores, he put some beside her then lay down next to her, allowing her weak body to absorb some of his body heat. He needed to keep her warm in order for her to survive.

Momo eventually could feel some kind of warmth. She started to slowly open her eyes after a while to see only some white fur beside her. She wondered if she should say the introductions first, but she didn't want to startle him. She moved her head away for a moment in a blush. "Hello, I'm Momo and thank you for your kindness." She was raised to be a lady so the least she could do is show gratitude towards him even though she had nothing to offer him.

Casper yawned. "You're welcome. I'm Casper." He blushed. "It wasn't any trouble at all. Where are you from?" he asked, wondering how far from home she had wandered in that storm. Either way, she was stuck here for a few days until the storm died down and he could lead her safely back to where she came from. But he also wasn't sure what to do with her, having never been around female foxes much.

Momo turned her head back towards Casper. "Nice to meet you Casper. I live neer the creek, but yet I don't quite know how far it would be from here." She looked around the area while noticing the storm was still brewing. "Well...it's nice to have some company." She nervously chuckled. "Even though I didn't ask permission." She stared out at the snow that kept falling. "It's nice...to watch it fall, but a pain to get stuck out there in it."
Her stomach growled a bit. "Oh that's right! I forgot about the food." She lightly whined a bit disappointed in herself. "My dad always thought I talked to much, but I just say what's on my mind at the time."

Casper gave her a small, shy smile and pulled out some food for her and him to split. "I'll go hunting again later, but eat up some now. You need to get your strength back up or you will not make it back home." With that, Casper started munching lightly on his portion, awkward around this female fox. He observed her, a little disturbed by the fact that he found her cute and wondered why he was having such thoughts.

Momo looked at the food. "You sure? I don't want to take too much." She watched him eat it while licking her lips at the smell of it. She looked back outside then to the meat. "Well...you did say yes so I might as well." She then began to chew on the food. "Thank you...really...you don't know how much this means to me. I'll find a way to pay you back. I promise."

Casper yawned. "Do not worry about it. I don't need much to eat, plus I am a really good hunter during the winter. Probably because I blend in with the snow. But you need strength so eat up. Don't worry about repaying me, I just want to see you get better." Casper stretched and curled up, watching her eat.

Momo watched him and listened for a moment before finishing up her food. "Alright...all done." She sat down. "Well the blending in part I can see." She nervously chuckled. "I wish I could do that. At best I blend in during fall...I think."

Casper smiled. "Yes, but you have all those pretty colors in you. I'm just plain white. White gets boring after a while. I'd rather stare at you all day then see a world of white." Casper said innocently without realizing what he was saying or what his words could imply. "Besides, I am very noticable in the other seasons besides winter and had to become a good hunter in order to survive."

Momo lightly blushed. Now it was her turn to be a bit shy. "T-Thank you..." She looked down. "But seriously...I still think white is a calming color." She lightly laughed. "Um...I'm not being a burden on you am I?"

Casper shook his head no. "I don't get a lot of company, so I'm honestly not sure how to behave. But a burden? No you are not that at all. It's nice to have company, even if I'm at a lost. I'm probably boring you by now." Casper rambled, getting flusters and a little embarrassed. She was pretty and despite not being around other foxes much, he noticed.

Momo listened to him and watched his facial expression before going over to sit next to him. She almost wanted to glomp him like she used to do her brother for fun, but she wasn't sure if he would like that. "Don't worry about it. I'm not bored. It's just nice to talk to someone else outside my family." She lightly smiled. "In some ways you remind me of my brother Yulien. He's always so awkward around the opposite species, but yet a real sweetheart." She paused for a moment. "Although he now has his own family so I don't see much of him anymore and my other sister that I do see can get depressing."
