Onto the clearing, he walked without fearing, upon ebony paws with crimson claws. He had heard the tune of the Gypsy croon, her tambourine, a way of life he had not foreseen. Here she had directed, and here was expected. Now to wait and watch the fete. Who was missing he came to ponder, as his mind did tend to wander. Today he would embark, even as it grew dark, in a new direction, without rejection. Zigana he had last seen, now to see the others preen, whom he had not yet been introduced, to who had come to roost.

He let out a howl of greeting, unsure of the meeting. Still he remained, ready to be entertained. Soon he would meet the rest, would he be impressed? Only time would tell, that this was not hell. There beneath the willow tree, he awaited the bourgeoisie.

Taavi made his way through the tall grasses, barely making any noise. He had met with Zigana once as a pup and had found it a pleasant surprise to have found her again. She was little odd to him but she always did put a smile on his face. Banding together with her would bring him much joy. He might not be as musically inclined as she was but he had a feeling that he was about to learn. In any case he could at least put some of his muscle to work helping protect the pack and those who were important to it.

As the burgandy wolf reached the willow tree that he had been told to meet at, he saw that he was not the first to arive. Underneath the tree was a black and red wolf. Well, he looked like a nice enough fellow, he might as well introduce himself. Slowly, Taavi made his way over to the other wolf. "Why hello there!" He greeted the wolf quite cheerfully. "I'm Taavi, what's your name?"

His eyes lifted from the ground, to gaze upon he who made a sound. It appeared to be another canine, he hoped he was benign. Soon enough he came to find, that he was seemingly kind. Why the other fellow was there, he hoped with a prayer, was all Zigana's doing, and not his undoing. Qaletaqa answered him as best he could, “Wharllothar. Ir Qaletaqa,” as always though his words were no good.

He felt embarrassed at his own garbled speech, he did not again wish to hear another screech. At that thought he winced, not quite of the others character so convinced. He lowered his head, tail tucked between his hind legs, filled with dread, filling covered in the yolk of eggs. Feeling bereft, he gazed to the left, awaiting he knew not who, for he had no clue.

Taavi tilted his head in a little in thought as he replayed the wolf's words. The burgandy wolf assumed that what the black one had said was hello there, it sounded close enough anyway. Though it was quite obvious that this fellow didn't have the best way with words. Perhaps he could give him a hand later.

"It's nice to meet you Qaletaqa." Taavi replied kindly. Though he really did hope that that was the wolf's actual name. It had been a little difficult to pick apart the words but he had a feeling that he would have plenty of chances to practice.

Taavi noticed the wolf's stance change and noticed that he looked a little embarrased. Before the silence became too awkward he spoke again. "So, er, did you meet with Zigana too?" He asked politely. It would be terribly humiliating if he was in the wrong spot, and quite rude if he were to show up late too.

Qaletaqa's ears perked, to him his own voice irked. The other male sounded as if he'd understood, the words he had uttered not so misunderstood. His head titled to one side, he could have cried. Very few had ever known, that which had made him feel all alone. Yet here was one, who had not begun to shun. How awesome, maybe now he could blossom. Yet he did not know as yet, why the male was beneath the willow tree's sillouette.

Then the answer came to him, as the male mentioned Zigana's hymn. With a head bob, his heart began to throb. A new life awaited, he felt quite elated. No more anguish, he would not be left to languish. The lady had directed others, to make their druthers, at the old oak tree, a look of glee. They would not be alone, if he'd had wings he felt he could have flown.

"Fwaarnd?" his tail swished, there was little else for that he wished. Still he could not properly pronounce, not even one ounce. Though in Zigana he had found, a place he could be safe and sound. He looked upon the other male, wondering if he had any musical scale. "Crnookshnng?" His words still were shaky, it made him feel inside somewhat achy.

Taavi grinned a little at how happy the other wolf seemed to be that he had understood him. The burgandy wolf was quite glad that he could make the other wolf feel better, although he wasn't sure if he could keep it up. As he listened to Qaletaqa speak again, it seemed he was becoming increasingly difficult to understand. Perhaps if he were to try and break the, er, words down a little more? It would take some practice but in no time he was sure to be able to communicate with this wolf.

Slowly he thought over what the wolf had said. Fwaarnd? Hmm maybe Fwaand? Oh Friend! He was trying to ask if they would be friends... or at least that's what Taavi hoped. "Yes," He said cheerfully. "Friends."

Well that didn't seem to bad, now what else had he said? Crnookshnng. Hmm this was going to be a little tougher. Again he took out the r, cnookshng.. can? Hmm yes that was part of it, and the ook was almost a you sound but what about that k sound? Maybe if he tried the last word he would be able to put it all together. Shng, what about sing? That would make sense since the Zigana had mentioned music. Can you Sing? Yes that sounded about right, he was hoping it was anyway.

After what might have taken a little while, he finally responded. "No," He started. "I'm not very musically inclined. I have a feeling that that is going to be changing though." He grinned.

He knew he was difficult to be deciphered, but he was glad that so far Zigana nor this male had tried to run him off. Lately he had meet a few nice wolves, whom did not wish for him to be obliterated. Still he did not wish for to much attention to be brought upon him, because then things might have a way of changing. At least that was what he had come to believe due to the background of how he came to be in the area. His family had not overly cared for him other than his mother, the pack he'd helped to depose of a tyrant had shunned him when they had heard his spoken word.

When Taavi grinned at him, his hopes lifted still higher, perhaps this pack was the right one after all. He just hoped nothing would happen which would cause him to feel as though he needed to go. That would be quite sad, when so far those he knew to be interested in it had been so nice to him. Now when Taavi said yes to his first question, his tail banged against the trunk of the willow tree. When he noticed this he stepped away from it, not wishing to disturb it or any small creature that might have made it its home.

Now however he awaited his next question to be answered, it seemed as though it were taking longer and he wondered if Taavi would be able to unscramble what he had even said. Well still, it had been more than others had ever even tried to understand, thinking that because of the way he talked he was somehow inferior to them. However it appeared that the burgundy male did have an answer and it made sense for what his question had been. "Ohr..Inurshng, dwarnk myrbr." He stood up on his hind legs and then lifted another, for a second standing on one foot before leaping to one side and landing on the other. He then used his forelimbs to catch himself so that both hind legs went into the air, before placing all four limbs on the ground with a twirl. However he almost toppled, but shortly caught himself before any damage was caused.

The burgandy wolf was pleased to see that he had not upset the other wolf in any way, although he hadn't been too sure on the correct words. Unfortunately though, it seemed that the Qualetaqa's words were becoming increasingly harder to understand. What on earth was he saying now. The guessing game was becomming a little weary but he was willing to give it a try. Obviously this wolf had some issues with speech that were unlikely his fault. Taavi would just have to be patient with him and hopefully teach him a few words.

Hmmm, how on earth was he going to figure out the next words. Well ohr sounded a bit like oh. That was easy enough. Inurshng, hmm perhaps interesting? Yes that sounded sort of logical, though the wolf still doubted that that was the correct word. He knew the last word was likely maybe so that only left dwarnk. Perhaps dance? That would explain the wolf's movement. "Dance?" He asked. "Hmm.. I hadn't quite thought about it. I've never done much dancing but I suppose I could give it a try. Do you enjoy dancing?" Even if he hadn't correctly guessed the words he had at least given it a try, and he was being as friendly as possible.

Qaletaqa sat back on his haunches, his tongue escaping his mouth, though he still kept his stance so that he looked smaller than he actually was. It was best that way, so as not to draw to much attention to himself, and no one would bother him to much as long as he was not on anyone's territory. Though he realized his garbled speech still remained a problem and there was only a couple things he could pronounce. His siblings names, mother, his own name and perhaps a couple other small words when not used in a sentence where it would become incomprehensible with the rest of the sentence. Only his mother had ever tried to teach him to speak properly, but she never had enough time, but that had not been her fault. She had to keep them well fed and moving on their feet.

He gave a nod, he had indeed met dance. Inurshng had he been able to peek into the others mind, he would not have been able to correct him, but he head meant he could not sing either. How could he sing after all when he could not be understood, but he could dance -- a little. "Ejoy," he nodded, because he did, even if he wasn't always totally graceful. However no one ever got it perfect the first try or so, and depending upon the complexity of the movement it might take even longer to get into sync. Now if he could only speak at least a little better, he might be able to enter a longer conversation. He did not enjoy awkward silences, but at least this wolf had tried to converse with him, while others would simply have snubbed him and walked away.

"Insragmrnt?" He asked, tilting his head. He himself did not have one, though Zigana did. She had called it a tambourine and it had made the most interesting noise, especially when she had it it with her tail. Now there was a wolf who was musically inclined, but she had grown up in a community where the humans at least had played music everyday at some point. That's how she had come to acquire the bit of gold in one ear, the instrument she carried and the purple cloth thing with the golden circles. He wasn't sure about the whole human aspect, but she had assured him that she did not wish to be close with the humans as not all of them were nice.

These two were...interesting to watch. The black and red one was kind of...annoying, but he dared not say anything so hurtful to a possible pet.

Knight stood not too far off from them, having approached quietly so as not to disturb their...conversation of sorts. Which he didn't understand. At all. Staring towards them quietly, the black, pink and white wolf narrowed his eyes and moved to sit, still having a bit of a puppy sit with him. He was young, naive maybe, but he knew what the world around him was doing--and what it was going to do.

A small grin crossed his lips as he watched them, waiting for nothing in particular he supposed. Just...waiting, knowing he was supposed to be here for one reason or another. Letting out a heavy sigh, then a hum, Knight looked around with ears perked, head high, and curiosity about to burst from his seemingly apathetic form.

There was something which caught his attention, though before he had been quite oblivious to yet another wolfs presence so caught up was he in conversation with Taavi. He turned his head toward the direction from which the sound seemed to have come from and caught sight of a dark colored wolf with pink and white markings. He'd never seen him before and he looked somewhat younger than the other and himself.

Still, he was at the willow tree, where Zigana had told him to meet with others whom she would send there before going on to find a territory to claim as their own. He could not wait until they really were together as a pack, especially now that he had met Taavi. He wasn't certain of the other wolf, but then he'd not known he was there nor had he spoken. Braving the moment he asked what he could. "Pack?" It was a question, although it could have been interpreted in many ways, but if he too had met Zigana and she had directed him here, then he'd give the correct answer wouldn't he?

He turned his gaze back to Taavi questioningly, not knowing if he knew the one whom he'd only noticed was there recently. He wasn't sure what to make of the incident, but hopefully soon he would know for certain whether or not the young wolf was also supposed to be there at the Willow Tree. Were there to be anyone else, they would have to catch up as Zigana had said to leave when the sun began to set and it looked as though it soon might.

Taavi had been so intent on trying to figure out what Qaletaqa was saying, that he never once noticed the presence of this new wolf. The burgandy wolf made a mental note to stay more allert in the future and then quickly answered his friend before paying attention to the new comer. "No," He started. "I don't have an instrument yet. Probably in the future though, at least something easy to use."

After having answered the black and red wolf, Taavi finally turned to the new one. Was this to be another pack member? He did hope so, a pack of only three wolves would be a little small. Then again he did suppose that their pack was likely to be small either way, at least for now. Zigana was likely to bring in many a wandering soul.

He was about to ask if the wolf was planning on joining them when his friend beat him to it. The word was clear enough, perhaps Taavi might be able to teach him a thing or two after all. Though it was bound to take work. He sat and carefully studied the other wolf, awaiting his reply.

Knight looked up curiously, perking his ears and swiveling them this way and that. They were interesting, and the red and black wolf had just spoken rather clearly.

"Yes," he pushed himself to stand, making his way over to the other two wolves, keeping his head up but his tail down. He was cocky, but he wasn't stupid. Being an adolescent still, he'd prefer to not be 'put in his place' by the older wolves just yet.

Letting out a quiet hum, he looked around curiously, ears still swiveling and tail flicking curiously, "You two are part of the...pack, then? Nice to meet you, I suppose."

He heard the reply from Taavi, so he didn't have an instrument. Neither did he, but dancing, well he could handle that -- hopefully. His attention though had been diverted by the others presence as he awaited an answer to the question he had posed. At least it had been one of the words he'd been able to enunciate properly.

When the other answered 'yes', his tail flickered. Well now, this was going to be an interesting way of life, small though it was. Hopefully Zigana would have more followers in the future. Still, he thought that with the three of them there along side Zigana they would be able to fare quite well for the time being.

Qaletaqa nodded, yes he was a part of the pack. "Nrshtrmrtchoo. Ir Qaletaqa" He looked toward the horizon, where the sun was beginning to set. "Gauar." He turned toward the direction that Zigana had told him to go once he had met with the others at the willow tree. Even if there were those who did not show up, she'd come along with them later if they still wished to join. The willow tree she had told him after all did not have a good place for the night in which to slumber, but if they went to the final rendezvous point they would be protected from the elements. So he began in that direction, looking back for a moment at the others questioningly to see if they would follow him. He didn't know if Zigana had told them the same or not, but hopefully they would travel with him so that none of them would get lost. Then he turned around and continued on, toward the land that would hopefully be the place they would call home.

Taavi nodded a greeting to the new wolf. He looked a little young still, but strong enough to be an asset to the pack. The wolf would have asked for his name, but the sun was starting to leave the sky and they still needed to meet their new Alpha, Zigana, at the rendezvous. There they would hopefully make their new home. Yes, there would be plenty of time for names and greeting later.

It looked as if the pack was going to be small for now, but they would find more, and perhaps there were those who were slow in coming. That was entirely possible. Perhaps they had gotten lost along the way or were simply taking their time. In either case they would join them soon enough. Without a word, Taavi started after Qaletaqa.
