After the legendary war hero Amuro Ray stopped the falls of the Axis asteroid base through the aid of the newly developed Psycho Frame and the will power of the combined forces of Londo Bell and the Second Neo Zeon, peace would befall Earth and the colonies up until the Crossbone Conflict in Universal Century 0123.
But this is an untold story where the Earth Federation wasn't willing to accept simple peace with it's most elite forces now wiped out and the looming possibility that another weapon would be used against the Earth - this fear was not entirely irrational if one followed the basis of Zeon Remnants and there single minded goal of dropping colonies on the planet. The Earth Federation Space Forces were mobilized and within months all of the Colonies were put under a state of military lock down which set up the events for the Colony War. This war became known as the darkest war in the Earth's history as a general within the Federation employed a Coup De'tat and had his supporters drop 3 colonies on the Earth in specific points which almost completely annihilated. The Earth was left as a wasteland with only 5% of the entire planet's population surviving and the remains of the Earth Federation Forces scrambling to the Moon. this mysterious general pegged himself as a hero and established his dominance over the colonies with the shroud of "protecting" the Spacenoids.
So begins the tail that will pit the Earth Federation's remains against this force of Colonials...

On Earth a small squad of Earth Federation units had landed in the remains of the Amazon, it was no longer a messa of life - the lush and dense plot of trees were almost entirely gone saved for a small forest area that served as the perfect landing zone for this squad. The squad consisted of five Mass Production Type Nu Gundams and the Novia Gundam 1st Unit, the pilot of the Novia was looking down on a river from his suit's monitors. The river was a blackened mess fulled with nuclear waste, pollution and whatever else got into rivers when the Earth was bombed.
"Sir we are ready to move" A voice spoke as the comm unit sprung to life inside the Novia's cockpit. "Wha- huh? Oh... right, let's move out we have a lot of destinations to hit before we head for the ruins of Japan" The group was on a large recovery mission to search old facilities that may have survived the colony drops, there targets spanned over the globe but the reason for this was they had no knowledge on the Colonials activity on the planet so far and believed it to be mostly an abandoned graveyard, giving this team the time to do what they had to without any conflict. Although they were heavily armed just incase anything did happen.

"Sir..... sir pay attention." A young crew man said to the blond man standing on the bridge of a ship. "Sir.... we're still waiting for orders."
The blond man blinked green eyes then cocked his head. "I'm not the captain of the ship, where is the captain of the ship. Get him to give you orders." The crew man rolled his eyes, he was right most if not all pilots were either airheads or too stupid to be of any normal use.
"Sir, the captain is dead, you are in charge with the highest rank among us. You are captain....you idiot."
"Oh right, well what was the captain planning." The blond's hand was pulled and he was tossed in the captains chair to look at the computer. "Oh right. Execute command Blue Alpha. Time to shake things up for Earth."

Activating there Vernier thrusters the group of Mobile Suits launched off at a moderate pace. There flight path had seemed clear up until they entered the destroyed remnants of a city. "Sir, we've entered an enemy perimeter - there all around us!" Shouted one the pilots into the comm unit, with Ryu looking disoriented at this new information. "What?! have they noticed us yet?" Trying to keep his composure as he was pretty sure the enemy hadn't found out they were in the area yet. After all they were smack dab in the middle of an enemy perimeter and hadn't seen any sign of retaliation - or the enemy outside of radar for that matter. "It doesn't look like they have sir, we might be able to sneak past them" The pilot responded. Ryu looked at various images on his monitor and began to designate positions. "Johnny, Kail, cover the rear. Anthony, Law, cover the right and left respectively, Enrico you cover the front - everyone have your Fin Funnels on standby, I'll lure in the enemy be ready" Sneaking may have been an option but with the class of Mobile Suit they were all using it would be fairly hard to keep hidden - this is why Ryu would constantly argue with deck officers about Mass Production colour being stupid when they were all white.

"Sir, it will be less then an hour before we touch base with earth. I suggest you take this time to ready your mobile." One of the crew men said as they monitored the ship.
"Oh right, yes. Captain is leaving the bridge." The blond man said before walking out of the room. He headed for his suit but stopped by his room to pick something up.
When he finally step foot into the Hangar bay his blue and green Gundam stood waiting for him. He rode the climb wire to the cockpit and strapped himself inside. Powering up the systems he checked the power reserves and fuel lines then ran the standard sim program.

"Hmm... can you guys target any of the enemy units from your positions?" Ryu asked. His suit being the only one that hadn't moved yet as he was the intended lure. "One of them are in my sights sir" Spoke Enrico. Law, Kail and Johnny would confirm having targets within visual sight not long after Enrico which gave Ryu a new idea. "Men, launch your Fin Funnels and have them circle around me - fire on my mark" Ryu gave the order as he primed the two Beam Bazooka's that his Mobile Suit carried. The Fin Funnels were launched and started to circle around Ryu's suit - the Fin Funnels were in constant motion some times moving forward just a little or even moving upwards or downward but they kept the basic formation of the circle. Positioning the Vernier thrusters to all face downward and focusing on his radar rather than his monitor - Ryu ignited the thrusters quickly flying up into the air with the Fin Funnels quickly in toe.
The surrounding Mobile Suits became aware of his presence in no time with the amount of heat he generated and they all targeted upward to shoot him down. "FIRE!" Ryu yelled as he two rockets blared out of his Beam Bazooka's at the first random blip on his radar. The members of his squad who had targets sniped optimal areas on the enemy suits while the Fin Funnels did the rest of the work eradicating the enemy units - with only a few enemy shots being fired, one of which rip into the left arm of Ryu's suit - making one of his Beam Bazooka's in-operable to his dismay. But on the bright side they were free to continue and this city ruins would make a nice forward command post until they moved out.

Getting impatient the young man sat in the cockpit as they told him that they were breaking earth's atmosphere soon to land. He acknowledged then switched his screen off.
He moaned and grabbed his stomach as it cramped up for some odd reason. He wasn't a novice but he was nervous every time he had to fight. "I should be used to this, I should really but I just can't, I just can't kill people like this." He sighed a final time and steeled himself for what was going to happen.
"Sir, we have docked on earth. Everything seems to be normal, squad is ready for scouting."
