 Emma watched the sights flying though the windows of the van. It was all so interesting!

While the others basked in the glow of the new sights and sounds of the town, Maria was listening to her Ipod, reading Hamlet.

Emma stretched and yawned as she climbed out of the van. It had been a looooooonnngg time sitting down. She stretched her legs, wiggled a little, then stepped back as the others got out.

A dry wind pressed Emma's hair back, and she took a deep breath of the desert air. It was late afternoon, maybe early evening. Suddenly, a familiar shiver prickled her spine and in one swift motion Emma turned and shot a single arrow to the ground, pinning the hem of her approacher's jeans and startling it. She looked into the face of that dreaded monster... ((another quester continue the scene))

"Never mind, we may have more then one piece after this" She said and took out her daggers and faced the monster. She waited for it to attack. and it attacked first

Maria rolled her eyes, and shot four silver arrows at the beast, making it turned to a golden ash. She cracked her back, and walked around the mortal world.

Nightmare shrugged but kept her daggers out. She started to walk through the junkyard careful not to be tempted into touching anything.

Emma stood gaping at its remnants for a moment, then ran up to catch up with Nightmare and Maria. She smiled at her "big sister" in admiration, but kept her bow and arrows out just in case of another attack.

((Hey, sorry I am late, but I guess I did not miss much.))
Nik walked with the girls, it felt weird being the only boy and with two huntresses of Artemis there too! He sighed as he looked around, but he was on guard. He kept his hand on the hilt of the sword his dad had given him and looked around.
"So, how are you guys?" he asked no one in particular, the only person he knew was Nightmare.

"You're looking for the golden fleece." A male voice said behind them. The speaker was a tall man, around his mid twenties, with short dirty blonde hair and green eyes. He was smiling cheerily at them, his eyes sparkling. He seemed...impish. And they certainly didn't know him.

"Well, hello there...?" Nik started and asked for a name without just asking for a name. He wasn't sure who the guy was, but if he was a god he did NOT want to upset him. He decided just being polite would work. If he was a monster though...He would die.
