Denali had been looking around for new help. She needed more people committed to her territory, she had had a few interviews already but needed more. Some of the cats working here just worked here, didn't want to live here. She would sleep with them, they would work a while then some of them wold just leave, never come back. She wanted some to stick around, and even more so now that she was bringing kittens into the world. She sighed and rubbed her stomach and waited for the male she had asked to come in to get here. She flipped her hair and growled as she felt a heat wave sweep over her. Damn hot flashes. She took a drink of her apple juice and sighed again as she looked at the door. She had a few people in the back, just to help if she needed it, but the place was empty, music playing very low so she could talk with the male when he came in. He was a drummer and said that he knew someone who would come in and sing for her too. She wanted to see them separate before putting them together. She wanted to know each of their skills before she thought about hiring either of them. She drummed her fingers on the table and watched the door.

Spencer walked into the Casino cautiously, wondering if he had the right place because nobody seemed to be around. He had met Denali briefly before this but it was only a few words that were exchanged. Now, though, he was being auditioned for a position here at this Casino Royal. Finally the male's sky blue eyes landed upon the unique female that ran this here place. His nerves got all bunched up but he swallowed the fear and walked right up to the female. "Excuse me. Um, hi. I'm here for my interview, Denali. Do you wanna get started now?" He bit his lip and hoped to god he wasn't being to quick for her. He was just so scared that he just wanted to get it all over with and hear whether or not he would be accepted into the territory. He stood, to polite to be seated without being offered a seat.

Denali smiled at him and nodded. "If you would like to play first then yes, thats fine with me." she said as she gestured towards the drum set on her stage. She took a bite of her cookie and smiled at him. "You are Spencer correct?" she asked with a smile as she looked over him. He seemed nice, looked like a good drummer and seemed a little nervous. If she wasn't so huge with child she would flirt with him. As it was it was hard enough to be in her casino with anyone there to see her let alone someone that she wanted working here. She flipped her hair and watched him from her seat. She hoped that this would be as good as she was looking for.

When she asked if he was in fact Spencer he felt a bit ashamed that he hadn't given her his name. He could have sworn she knew it already, or maybe she was just double checking. "Oh, um- yeah, that's it. Spencer. Spencer Smith." He even added his last name so that maybe she'd remember it better, but he doubted it would help any. As his eyes turned towards where he gesture indicated he nearly felt his heart drop down from his chest to his stomach. A drum set! He hadn't had the pleasure of actually having one before, and this being the first time he's played on one would be special. Okay, so Spencer really hasn't ever played on drums before, but he played on everything else. From trashcans, to recycling bins, to tree trunks, to even the sidewalk. He banged his glowing drumsticks on everything.

Spence walked himself up to the stage, admiring the set with loving eyes. It was quite clear he was in love with them already. He took his seat and dug his drumsticks out of his hoodie pocket and flipped the power button on so that they glowed brightly in his fists. "Okay, I'm going to go ahead now. I hope it's not to loud for you." He bit his lip and didn't want her to flinch or anything. With that being said he began a gentle beat, not really wanting to hit to hard and stuff. Since he had never played on a drum set before he was being really cautious and weary. It didn't sound to great either. Maybe in a bit he would unravel his nerves and start to let out all his skill but for now it sounded pretty safe and somewhat okay. Nothing special.

( Since it was his first time playing on a drum set I wanted it to be realistic and now have him blow her away. But he is good, once he gets comfortable. Haha, just so you know. )

Denali watched the boy look over the drums. He seemed to have never seen a set before. This was going to be interesting. She leaned her head onto her hand and wondered if she should hit on him a little to see if he would lighten up a little. He didn't need to be nervous with her. She smiled as she watched him sit down and say that he hoped it wasn't too loud. "I like my music loud so do not worry." she said with a smile playing across her lips. She watched him start, it wasn't amazing but it was better then when she had tried to play them drunk months ago. She smiled as he worked out the feel of things slowly. She would let him stop when he wanted to.

Well, at least he wouldn't be playing with the worry of being to much for the audience. If he was allowed to play these things loud then he was sure as hell going to beat the hell out of them. He loosened up more and more, feeling as though she was starting to enjoy it rather than judge it. He found playing on a drumset was much like playing on everything else, only this was professional. This was where he was meant to be. A large smile could be seen plastering itself onto his face, and this was interesting because usually Spence doesn't give more than a weak little grin to most things. Stiff smirks were better than lighting up dumbly. That was the major difference between him and his best friend, Brendon. Spencer was the calm one, where as his friends seemed to be more enthusiastic about emotions and such. He finally stilled his drum sticks after he finished with a grand finale of beats and rhythms. "Did I do alright?" he asked pocketing his handy glow drumsticks. He really hoped for his sake that he was good enough.
