Cobalt had wandered into the park. He was slowly getting used to being a free cat, even if his ex owner had never really taken very good care of him he still never had to totally fend for himself. Even if he didn't get much love he would have gotten food and somewhere to sleep. Thanks to some kinder cats he had finally found his feet now though and was starting to really love the city. He had found an abandoned shop to sleep in and everything was fine and dandy. He had even been taught to steal food, which was good because he certainly didn't want to have to eat birds and the like.

The grey tom wandered into the park, liking the buzz around the place. The male had only really been introduced to music once he had left his home. His exowner had been a man of science and wasn't into music. He sat up on a bench, watching the drummer with interest. His eyes then feel on the dancing kitten close enough to the drummer and Cobalt couldn't help but laugh at her. She seemed to be enjoying herself so much.

Cobalt couldn't help but be taken aback by this kitten. He didn't expect her to approach him or call him out. Normally kittens were far too afraid of older cats to even bother talking to him. He cocked an eyebrow, his face soft though. The last thing he wanted to do was to scare the thing. After all she liked to dance and actually asked him why he was laughing. A cat like that he was actually interested in knowing. Usually the grey cat could care less about other cats, happy to keep mostly to himself. Other cats, he found, weren't as intelligent as he was and it was almost a chore to actually have a conversation with them. These conversations nearly always ended poorly as well, the other cat getting insulted or confused by Cobalts dry sense of humor and bitter sarcasm.

He looked down at her from his chair, his eyes soft but ever so slightly mocking. "My name isn't 'you' kit. My name is Cobalt." he said quietly, his voice silky and almost bored in nature. "As for why I was laughing that would be because I was amused by your dancing. It's not very common to see a cat dancing, especially not in around so many humans." he explained, his answer blunt and logical.

Cobalt raised an eyebrow at the kitten, taken slightly aback by her response. It wasn't often that he met a female wth such a spark tounge and for a minute the cat was left speechless as he truely didn't know what to say back to her. He coughed into his paw and looked at her with his large green eyes.

"Well pardon me, Miss Ae, but I had no intention of being rude." he said, his voice both silky and icy all at once. "I mearly found your dancing to be amusing and interesting. Isn't that what dancing is supposed to do. Amuse and interest?" he said, his green eyes boring into her as he spoke. He was interested in this girl, to say the least. She wasn't one of your run of the mill females who would back away or back down. This, to tell the truth, made Cobalt all the more curious about the little lady. He then looked at her with a slightly softened expression, his body language still aloof. "I do apologise though if I offended you. It was not my original intention." he added with a small half bow, his green eyes still set on her.

He then cocked his head to the side with a puzzled looked. "Hum I suppose you could be. You don't normally see people my age dancing in the street so I assumed you would have to have been younger then me." he said with a dry voice. "I do, however, apologise for my mistake." He kept his expression stiff but in truth the female had completely caught Cobalt offguard and he was completely at a loss at what to do. Of course all this coldness was a front he tended to put up around people, to get his way, but he wasn't used to anyone taking him on. He surprised him but also excited him slightly. A worthy cat? Perhaps.
