QU'ELLAR D'SSINDOSSA Ssindossa Tulshar
First House of the Starless Sea
The power and influence of Qu'ellar d'Ssinsossa cannot be denied. Almost every Drow in the house is or has been a slave, including the present Matron, who brutally murdered her predecessor for power, and has done a spectacular job at keeping her seat so far. The House has a hand in all the trade of the Starless Sea, and anything that happens in the city only happens with their approval, whether the instigators know it or not.
But their dealings in the running of the Starless Sea are easily overshadowed by their public face. While a House in name, they are little more than an occasionally hereditary brothel house. A true den of inequity, a pit of debauchery, catering to all fetishes; they host a new party every night, though the special masquerade balls are known to be especially extravagant and decadent. To receive an invite is a signature of status. They also on occasion sell their trained slaves in private auctions for their more generous benefactors.

PHYSICAL ATTRIBUTES
Qu'ellar d'Ssindossa is, for the most part, an uncharacteristically open House. Primarily acting as a business, most of the visible part of the building is free roam, with countless themed ballrooms, corridors leading to more intimate locations, and huge, inviting doorways. However, a sizeable portion of the back of the House is closed off to the public, where many of the more nitty gritty details of their business go down... as well as dealings with those less-than-cooperative clients.
Set on an expansive property, with many store fronts technically falling into it's domain, it has taken a very stylised approach to the architecture. A series of separate buildings, the largest of which is the brothel, each with intricate, sensual carvings and dark, sultry colours.
The Brothel A triple storey building off black stone with white-gold caps, inlaid with gems. The greatest show of their wealth, which in Starless Sea equals power, and the single greatest whore house in all UnderGaia. The first storey is almost entirely made up of ballrooms and smaller rooms for smaller functions, always dressed up fine. The polished stone floors reflect the hundreds of thousands of faerie lights they use to light the rooms, and their greatest pride is the Psychomanteum, a ballroom filled from floor to ceiling with mirrors, and where most of their more questionable substances are imbibed.
The Counting House Probably their second greatest money-maker, the building is dedicated to gambling. They have a range of popular games and sports, but their biggest draw is the fighting pits, where all sorts of creatures from the dark caverns of UnderGaia are pitted against one another in a fight to the death. A main attraction is the kentaureion herd they captured -- a species of primeval, reptilian centauros, the creatures are extremely aggressive and bring an excellent bloodbath to entertain the clients.

DENIZENS OF D'SSINDOSSA
Madame Mayvyrae is Matron of Qu'ellar d'Ssindossa, and not a woman you would want to cross. Without the same military or even magic power at her beck and call, she instead controls Starless Sea, and to an extent much of the rest of UnderGaia through the trafficking of supplies from the surface. Formidable, ambitious, deadly and bitter. Born a slave, once Lirdolin, she plotted and murdered her way to the top. In a city like Starless Sea, even a slave could become a brothel queen, and that is exactly what Mayvyrae did.

BUSINESS DEALINGS
Currently, Qu'ellar d'Ssindossa has just had a small private auction of some of their finer slaves. Their next auction won't be for a few months. However, private sales are still open to negotiation.
The House has also, after much appreciated patronage from their valued customer, privatised a small section of the brothel house especially for Qu'ellar Oussan -- or more specifically, their esteemed leader.
