Labana looked out over the slushy dunes apprehensively. It was here in this little nitch of the woods that she had met that male. The night had been so cold that she'd sought warmth at his side, leading to something that caused her to blush.
She waddled across the thawing snow with a groan. Her pregnancy was painfully obvious, what with her small size. Normally she was as big as a teen, but today she felt more like a swollen cloud. With a tired huff, Labana flopped down next to a tree to catch her breath. "Mama's babies are giving her a rough time, aren't you?" She whispered affectionately, sparing a caring smile to her stomach.
It was a burden, but a happy one. She just wished she didn't have to bear it alone.

And alone she certainly wasn't. Not with Rygor on the other end of this accident. He just needed some time to get things settled, which he now had done. Not only had he completely set his mind on being there for Labana and whatever children resulted in this, but his sister, Raxacor, would certainly be ecstatic at the thought of being an aunt.
But for now it would just be him. No need to scare the female any more than she probably already was. As creepy as it may sound, he had been keeping his eye on her, never approaching, but always knowing where she was. So, watching as he always was, he heard her comment and decided he needed to step forward and take responsibility for the children he helped create.
Carefully, he moved towards her with his head lowered in the least threatening body language he could manage, "Hello...again."

The female snapped her head up with a surprised squeek. Her eyes instantly widened, ears flipping back nervously despite her initial happiness. "You came back." She realized how desperate she sounded, but Labana couldn't help it. She was so happy to see him again that she felt like crying. Stupid horomones. "O-oh...sorry. Hello." Her head dipped down, a blush creeping up her neck.

Rygor felt himself starting to blush as she did, the whole situation a bit awkward and embarrassing, He was glad to be received happily rather than with anger and turned away from her, finding it easier to speak that, "I had to...I can't leave you alone in such a state. My conscious would kill me." That and a part of him was excited to be a father, even if it was with a female who wasn't his mate. Who knew, maybe they would get along and become mates after all this.

The spark in Labana's eyes faded. "Oh. T-thank you." What was she expecting? Of course he was worried about her, but only because of the eggs in her womb. Were it not for them, he would just be another dragon without any need for her.
The pale dragoness lowered her head to the snow with a sigh. "Their strong; stronger than I am. Some days all I can do is sleep, I'm so tired." She didn't know why she was laying it all out on him like this, but maybe if he understood he would know why she wouldn't be much company in the coming days. It made her a little regretful for her blessings. T'were it not for them, Rygor wouldn't be as inconvienced as he was.
A thought hit her. "What about your family? Won't they notice your abscence?" What about his mate, if he had one? It was shameful; to be pregnant with the children of someone you didn't know.

"It's just my sister and I, there's no one else. Besides, my sister doesn't like it much when I'm around. She thinks I'm overprotective." Rygor laughed nervously and laid down near her, giving a clearly awkward smile, "You know, if you're tired you should rest." Much how she felt as if she were putting a burden on him with her pregnancy, Rygor felt as if he had place a burden on her by getting her pregnant. He wasn't doing this for the eggs developing inside of her, because of them yes, but not for them. His main concern at the moment was her own safety. As far as he was concerned, if anything were to happen to her while she was like this he would be completely responsible and he wouldn't be able to live with that guilt.
That wasn't to say he didn't care about the children he would soon have. Deep inside he was excited to be a father, he only wished that it was with someone he considered a mate or in the least that he had taken the time to know Labana better. She seemed nice enough though, thankfully, and he felt that they would be able to get along well enough, if not for themselves then for their offspring at least.

Were Labana able to move, she would have shrinked away from Rygor as he lay so close to her. As it were her stomach shifted, keeping her firm on the ground. "Thank you, but I'm fine. I just came out for a walk when you caught me." She smiled, laying her side on it's side to look at him.
It felt so weird and so right to be having this moment. In a short while she would be so wrapped up in keeping her offspring safe and fed that she wouldn't have time for such nicities. "I didn't tell you, did I? Th-that I like your mane...It looks like the sun."

"Ah, uh, t-thank you." Rygor had to turn his face away, the subtle blush on his cheeks only intensified by the white markings on them. He had never been complimented before, mostly it was just his sister yelling at him and telling him to leave her alone. He wasn't exactly sure what to do with it so he just tried to return the compliment, "I like you color. It's not loud like mine. Must make hunting easy."
Hopefully she wouldn't think he was calling her color dull, that was certainly far from the truth. In all honesty, he found her beautiful. She wasn't like the others he had seen with elaborate and brightly colored coats, she was simple and elegant and he appreciated that. He glanced towards the sun, but not directly at it of course, and wondered if his mane really was as vibrant as that brilliant ball of light. Slowly, he dropped his eyes back to Labana and mumbled, "I'll walk with you, if you'd like."
