Alice and Kae walked through the doorway of the dusty house. The house looked like it hadn't been lived in for a few months as duct collected on the tables and piano. It was dark and quiet as you could've heard a pin drop.

"Please, just put your stuff down anywhere. We'll be moving your stuff to the dorms anyway. I think you'll like the arrangements that are made there." Kae spoke with a light voice, trying to be supportive of Alice's condition. "I also let some of your old friends know you would be coming back today, so they should be coming over any time now." she mentioned with a smile as she walked about, tidying up as she went. She was trying hard to make the transition as comfortable as possible.

Alice wondered about the home, walking down the hallway toward the bedrooms. Her eyes caught sight into one of the jarred-open doors. Pushing it open, she found a bedroom that was cluttered and a bit small as there was different color paints on the wall in black, red, and white. There was a violin case on the desk and an open bottle of pills next to it. It seemed familiar, but she couldn't be sure.

Kae approached behind Alice quietly. "Oh, that's your little brother's room. It was your room, but I gave it to him when you got older."

Alice didn't seem to have much emotion on her face, she didn't know how to really feel about all of it. It felt so familiar but also so alien to her. She sighed and turned back around and walked back into the living room and sat down on the couch with backpack. She unzipped her backpack and picked up a journal from it, she opened it to peer inside. The pages had doodles in the margins of a girl with a horn. She dreamt of this girl, though she didn't know who she really was. Alice was confident it was someone she knew and was probably very close to. 'I hope I can remember something soon. I really hate not knowing what I've lost.' she thought with a frown as she stared at the doodles.

And this house was the object of quite a few of her fascinations. Looking upon, imagining when Alice would return, why she had disappeared, and what stories there would be to share. Syth had even managed to sneak in there on a few nights, spending nights inside Alice's bed, taking in the smells of the werewolf meta's room. Trying to remember.. keeping her close to her heart. Yet, today was different, much different actually. Looking out into the driveway. There was a single vehicle. Lights inside the house were on, and the small mansion was finally stirring up with life.

No gate would keep her outside now. Now that Alice might be home, finally home and she would be able to enjoy her dear sweet once again. Rushing past the gates, moving through the lawn and finally making her way towards the doorway of the house. Knocking her hand hard. Excited... too excited to even 'speak' actually.

She was nervious even. What could have changed, had Alice grown while they were apart? How had she changed, or even aged. Oh, the variables involved. There was only one thing Syth couldn't help but wait for. The sight of her own love.

At least she had some restraint, or else the door would have been broken down by now.

Alice perked up at the knock on the door as she placed her things away quickly. Looking to her mother for confirmation, Kae nodded for Alice to go answer the door. Alice was calm but excited. She didn't know what to expect on the other side of the door. This person could be the key to her memories or at least a part of it. As Alice opened the door, almost slowly out of shyness, peeking through then she swung the door open the rest of the way. She was startled by the sight before her. A girl her own height with a horn. This was her, the girl from her dreams, but who was she really. Alice said not a word as she stood there is a shocked stare. "h-hello?" she spoke up softly, cautious of the girl at the door.

When the door had opened up, Syth could only stare wild eyed at the woman before her. Her mind surging with thoughts, emotions, feeling. Finally... she was back, after so long, and she looked not one day older since they had last met.

'Alice!' Syth cried out, charging her way through the door. Arms wrapping around the girl's waist, as she buried her head into her shoulder. Taking in a deep breath, finally glad to have her dear love back. But yet, something seemed slightly off.

Did she care that this feeling existed? For the most part, no. Alice was back however, and they would finally be able to enjoy each other's company. And maybe get back at his brat little brother. Yes, that would be a rather nice thing to do. A way to re-indoctrinate Alice to the meta academy.

Alice's eyes open wide in shock as the girl shot forth and hugged her tightly. She was almost thrown off-balance but managed to keep her footing. "E-excuse me.. What are you doing?" she asked with worry in her voice. Maybe this girl had really missed her that much. Alice was confused as she felt her heart sink, she really didn't understand the feeling as much, but it seemed like this person was very important to her. Maybe her best friend? She was very unsure. Alice felt an overwhelming urge come over her as she lifted her arms and embraced Syth lightly as a soft smile spread across her face. She wasn't sure why, but she felt the need to hold the girl, it made her feel...at home.

Kae tried hard not to stare, she was still not used to the idea of Syth and Alice being so close, but she also tried her best to accept it. Suddenly, like a sack of bricks, Kae had just remembered Alice's condition. She had forgot with all the commotion at the door. "Please, come in and sit down, Syth. We need to talk." she requested, hoping that it wouldn't cause too much harm to explain Alice's condition. 'I don't think she even remembers her... this won't be good if this continues without Syth knowing.' she thought to herself as she walked over the living room and sat down in a chair. She just hoped maybe something would come back to Alice soon. Anything at all.

Something began to surface in Alice's mind. What was it? A name? Was it her name? "Is your name.. uhm.. Syth?" she asked curiously, looking down to the horned-girl, praying that she was right.

There was a bit of relucance with the way Alice had acted. Her arms had not embraced her as soon as she might have thought was possible. Not to mention, that the words that she had spoken. What was she doing? Honestly, had Alice gone mad? She had taken her up into a tight hug! The other meta had gone missing for years! And yet for the first time they they meet, all she could do was ask her what in the world she was doing. But, the arms around her waist soon brought a small smile to Syth's lip. Putting her mind at lease, for now at least.

Hearing Kae speak up, was something rather unexpected. Syth's eyes turning to the Elven mother, looking up to her, simply wondering what had happened.

'If you're thinking about keeping me away from Alice, don't even try' Was all Syth could say, a glare in her eyes as she gave the woman an almost evil glare. Thinking she might have done something to keep Alice away from her, and had only just accepted their relationship.

Yet, hearing Alice speak up, acting as though she had gotten her name. Syth could only stare in shock, literally speechless as her attention towards turn Kae. Something was wrong with her Alice... she couldn't even remember her cherished love's first name! If it weren't for the shock, furniture would have already been breaking, she was furious indeed. As she clutched onto Alice. Holdering her tight, as if wanting to protect her from Kae.

Alice was starting to feel uneasy with Syth's tight hug. She hadn't remembered ever being this close to anyone before, or had she? She was so unsure as her thoughts raced. 'Do I know her? Do I know her name? Have I ever known her? Have we always been this close? What is this that I can't remember? Why can't I remember her? Why?!' Alice began to freak out a bit as she tried to push Syth away. "I can't-.. I don't-.... Get off me!!!" she screamed, dropping to the floor in a panic as she tried desperately to get away. The loss of her memories scared her, and she started to feel overwhelmed by the pressure of trying to remember everything again. "Kae, please help me!" she called out, reaching out a hand to Kae, trying her hardest to find any way to get away from Syth.

"A-alice! Syth, wait! You don't understand!" Kae exclaimed as she darted over quickly to assess the situation. She was trying not to let Syth get upset, but also trying to make sure Alice did frenzy into a panic, which is what she was doing anyway. She didn't know what to do or what to say to help the situation as she stared at the two and Alice's desperate hand.

"I can't-.. I don't-.... Get off me!!!"

The words sent Syth back into her reality, the psychic meta holding onto her tight, trying to keep Alice as close as possible, but before she could even retaliate, she dropped to the floor. Trying to desperately crawl away. Syth was shocked, to say the least. Upset even, and pushing into anger. What in the world had Kae done to Alice?

What had either of them done to deserve it? She was on the verge of crying, trying her best to calm down, but it wasn't exactly working. She had waited too long for Alice to return, and in the end, this was what she was repaid with. A shell that feared her... hell, was Alice even in there.

'Hurt...' Syth's mind rang out, eyes staring at the ground as various picture frames began to shatter.

It was true, that Syth didn't understand, but at this point, what more was there? After all, Syth was more than aware of Kae's distaste for Alice's relationship with herself.

Alice felt Syth let go and she stared in shock at her as she was scared, but also her heart ached. Her heart wanted that embrace, and wanted it to never end. The picture frames began to shatter as Alice covered her head and screamed. She didn't understand what was happening, and why the girl had talked through her mind. Her mind couldn't quite grasp all the ideas. "Syth, stop it! JUST STOP IT!!!" she screamed as she retreated backward into a corner and disappeared into the shadow in the corner. She was still there, but she felt safe there since she knew somehow in her mind that no one would see her or touch her there. She kept her head covered as she opened her eyes a little to watch would happen next.

The front door was still open when Rasiel stepped through, peering down at Syth on the ground, shattered glass on the floor, and Alice still missing to his knowledge. He slid around Syth and walked quickly across the room then stopped and turned back around. "What happened here? Did Syth finally realize Alice is not coming back? Or is she dead.." he commented with a small smirk.

"Rasiel!" she scolded as she then sighed as she began to pick up the glass off of the floor.

"I am not dead. I am right here. Why do you seem to hate me? Do I know you?" she spoke in a low voice, still startled by what had just happened.

Rasiel was startled by Alice's voice, and then her words shocked him further. "Kn-know me?! I am you're brother, stupid!" he exclaimed, almost appalled by her inability to recognize him.

"Stop it, Rasiel!" Kae demanded as she walked over and placed the glass in the trash can. She walked back over to Syth, kneeled down and hugged her tightly. "I know this is hard for you. It is for me too. But Alice was affected by the virus that had surfaced in a few of the other children in the academy. Fortunately, I found her before it had done too much damage. She's lost quite a few memories, but by my tests, it seems it is only temporary. Think of it as a case of amnesia." Kae's hug tightened a bit, "I sure Alice would want you to have this hug." she commented softly, trying to hold back her own tears. She felt the pain of a mother with an ill child. Kae hoped Syth would understand and not get too upset, but that was just her hope.

Rasiel went to open his mouth to comment on the situation, but it looked like his ears caught a sound and he quickly turned around and darted off towards the hallway as though avoiding something.

Hearing Rasiel proved to be, perhaps, the most calming thing, oddly enough. Even Alice's cries hadn't been around, for she would have ended up losing herself, until kidnapping the other proved to be the only option. But hearing Rasiel speak in that same stuck up tone. Always hating his own 'sister', if for no reason at all.

But, Syth couldn't help but pause, looking dumbfounded by Alice's response. She... of all people she didn't even know Rasiel? Perhaps, now, she was finally beginning to see some reason to the recent events of the Meta academy. Luckily, he had stopped by when he did. Any earlier, and he might have been the target of Syth's wrath.

But yet, in the end, Rasiel had even skipped Alice's mind. And feeling the woman's hug. She couldn't help but turn her attention to Kae. 'Hard? This is beyond hard!' Syth whined, looking at the woman. The good news was that this was only temporary, but for a virus that was able to revert a meta back into a child. Well, that temporary could be months or years. Hell, the woman who was the sole reason she existed wasn't able to revert the damage.

Hope was still far away, but at least it was around. And feeling the hug, it brought a small smile to her lips. Though, hearing Rasiel's feet run along the floor. As if running away from something more frightful than what he had walked into?

'...Alice, could you please stop hiding?' Syth asked, looking over at the shadow in the corner. 'Please? For your ducky?'

Hopefully the nickname would trigger something.

Alice watched as Rasiel left the room in a hurry and then watched Kae hug Syth and explain everything. She was curled up in the corner as Syth spoke to her, asking her to stop hiding and come out. Ducky was the word she used. That word, it held some significance between them, that she knew somehow. "..ducky.." she repeated allowed. A few images flashed through her mind. A hallway with spiders and the girl was screaming and dropped her dry erase board. She had later danced with her, they were dressed up as a vampire and a fairy. All of these thoughts flooded back as she began to blush a little, remembering how at the time she had curious feelings about Syth. Alice was unsure at this time what became of it, but she knew that she definitely knew Syth and that they were close. Alice emerged from the shadows slowly with an almost guilty look on her face. "I'm sorry, Syth. I didn't mean to freak out." she stated calmly, avoiding eye contact and trying not to show any signs of blushing.

Kae had let go of Syth and had directed her attention towards Rasiel's quick exit. She seemed confused on his problem, but figured she'd find out soon enough.

Andy had walked up to the house that she had seen in a picture with Rasiel in front of it. This had to be his home, and maybe this is where she would find more about his whereabouts. She calmly approached the door only to find that it was already open. Andy stepped through the doorway to see to girls and a woman. "Hey, do you know Rasiel?" she asked boldly, looking around to see if she could see him. At that point she heard a door slam in the hallway and curiousity arose within her.

There was a deep pause. Honestly, had that really been the trick. Was Alice coming to and remembering things. There was almost a small smile on Syth's face as she slowly pulled herself too. Perhaps, maybe not all was lost.

'I... shouldn't have either,' Syth spoke, a bit shocked at the damage she had done to the living room. Mmmm... perhaps, it could have been worse, much worse. But, at the very least, she had her Alice back. And she was already recovering.

'But, I am so going to fix you!' Syth responded, rather excited at the emerging Alice, rushing up to her and pinning her against the wall. Grinning with a rather devious smile as a hand ran along her cheeks, 'And don't think you can just run away. You're not allowed to leave my sights for a looooong time.'[/i[ She added, rather certain about this.

Alice was happy that she seemed to remember, but also felt guilty that she had even forgotten in the first place. Syth spoke of fixing her then suddenly pinned her against the wall and touched her cheek. Alice couldn't hold back from blushing, her heart was pounding hard and she knew this was familiar, this feeling she had. It had begun to make her nervous, but not in the same as before. No, this time was a bit different as she knew that there had to have been more to their relationship than what she had remembered. Maybe Syth had known about her curious feelings toward her, but she was still for the most part, unsure. "W-well, there's a lot that we can do... n-now that I'm back..." she commented trying to change the subject a little before she turned completely red in the face.

Kae watched as a girl came in the door and asked about Rasiel. "Well, yes. I'm his mother. And Rasiel is in his room right now, just down the hall there." she answered, guiding the girl down the hall and then went to her bedroom, leaving Syth and Alice to have some time alone to themselves.

Rasiel was sweating as he growled then raked his arm across the desk, making everything go flying off onto the floor. He held his face with one hand as he fell to his knees and growled louder. Obscurite was talking up a storm in his mind, suggesting ideas to hurt Andy and do other horrible things to the rest of those he knew. "..shutup shutup shutup shutup SHUTUP SHUTUP SHUTUP!!!" he screamed to himself. He fought hard to keep control of his mind as Obscurite tugged at his conscience and taunted his very being. Rasiel was in pain, and tears began to surface in his eyes as he struggled to stay in control. The last thing he wanted was to hurt Andy, his mother or anyone else he cared about. He then grabbed his head with both hands and yelled again, almost as though he was in excruciating pain.

'A lot... Oh!' Syth was almost too excited. Grinning as... well, lets just say dirty thoughts ran through her mind. Though, she had to take it easy on Alice. After girl was just remembering that she had feelings for the horned angel.

Or, if not, even questioning. Yet still, she reached out to grab Alice's hand. Pulling her up close and tight, 'Mmm... but I'm not allowing you to come back here. We have a dorm together, and if you're going to start remembering things. You'll have to stay with me!' Syth was more than quick about announcing, as she gripped Alice's hand, slowly pulling her off. There was a lake outside the park as well. Off to the distant... but she needed to wait. Perhaps, a full moon would be a better time to drag her off there.

How long would it be until a full moon anyway?

'Dorm... some food. Mmm... maybe we can grab food on the way there. So many things to do now you're here!'
