 draiks house is hidden in the mountain. inside is a maze of machines, and clockwork.

Annie followed him to his vehicle, then got in.

Draik got in the back of the vehicle with annie, while the hooded figure got in the drivers seat, and removed it's hood. the figure is actually a wooden puppet. the car began to drive foreward.

Annie was wide eyed when she saw the hooded figure was a puppet. She asked, "How can it see?"

Draik kind of half laughed "it has miniature cameras in its eyes, but beyond that, i'm not exactly sure. i only built the wooden body, i hired someone to create, and program the brain, eyes, and joints." by this time, the car was driving through the beautiful forest at the base of draiks mountain home.

(Hey if you want a good movie, watch Signs. I watched that while I was offline, and it was good as hell xD)
"Damn.....That is really weird.....How did you make it since your....you know..." She tried to avoid the word blind since she didn't know if it would piss him off or not, but was looking out the window, wide eyed since shes never seen such a beautiful veiw.

Draik held up his hand " i made it by touch. being blind doesn't necessarily mean i can't 'see'. it just means my eyes can't" he doesn't mind being called blind, he is what he is.the car stopped next to an almost random looking door that was built into the side of the mountain." good, we're here. please lead me to the door."

She was surprised at how he did it still, but then when he said to help him, she helped him out and led him to the door. She asked, "Is this where your home is?"

"well sort of. the main house is just a little farther." the entire inside of the mountain has been hollowed out, and filled with many gears, chains, and mechanisms. the actual house is about 100yds ahead. the entire place is surprisingly well lit

the inside of the house is an elegantly designed mansion. as draik and annie enter the house. "first things first. you need a shower. go up those stairs, and head left, and keep going till you reach the bathroom. it has a large sign on it. inside should be all the necessary stuff you need. there should also be a new outfit. when you are done exit to your right, and meet me in the library. do you understand?"

Yeah." She said, then she headed to the bathroom. About half hour later, she came out with wet hair, partly dried, and the outfit he gave her, and went down to the library as he asked before.  (basically all this, but her hair is pale blond, green eyes, and not as much makeup and no nailpolish and nails are shorter)

every book in the library was written in braille. draik was reading a book on clocks. when he heard annie enter, he closed the book, and stood up. "now then your duties include the following" he handed her a printed list." you are to clean and maintain all that is in this mansion. this includes the books in this library, the instruments in the music room, and all the clocks in every room. damage to any of which will result in immediate punishment."

Annie took the list, and said, "Okay." She then did the first thing on the list, which was dust the books, so she asked, "Where is the duster?"
