i also run a koa'ki deck but its still in the works though i did win a few duels at school with this deck but it does require iron cores...because my deck focuses on revealing and the iron cores are my safety net as well as the "key" to most of my deck
so if you want to try it here is my current prototype...
monsters: (20)
Koa'ki Meiru Boulder X2
Koa'ki Meiru Guardian
Koa'ki Meiru Urnight X3
Koa'ki Meiru Maximus
Koa'ki Meiru Drago X3
Koa'ki Meiru Powerhand X3
Koa'ki Meiru Crusader X3
Luster Dragon X2
Gladiator Beast Andal X2
Spells: (15)
Iron Core of the Koa'ki Meiru X3
Iron Core Armor X2
Iron Core Immediate Disposal X2
Urgent Synthesis X2
Core Compression
Swords Of Revealing Light
Core Blaster
Traps: (9)
Iron Core Luster X2
Automatic Laser X2
Trap Stun
Call of the Haunted
Core Blast
Dark Bribe
Sakurestu Armor
Deck total: 44 cards
yeah my deck is mostly focused on Dragons and Beast Warriors with a bit of rock to give it some extra draw power.
But my advice for your deck you are working on now is to keep Koa'kis to a two archtype deck so that it can focus more on revealing cards in your hand making it easy to keep them on the field, and since you have Urnight i highly recommend you run iron cores because it can't swarm if you do not have an iron core in your deck.
Yeah I was thinking about a Rock/Beast Warrior Deck.
OH MY GOSH! I forgot that you can't swarm with Urknight, unless you have cores. I've been thinking it's just spells, like Sea Panther. I get this deck idea is fail...
I can't believe you were the first to find out.
Thanks!
*reads other posts* huh...son of a gun i am the first lol. well maybe its because i actually have faith in the Koa'ki meirus and their unique playing style that i actually know a lot about them lol anyway no matter what deck you build, powerhand is always welcopmed as a beat stick if nothing just be sure to keep normal traps in your hand like mirror force or bottomless lol cuz i read an interesting trick with powerhand online.
but the only problem is it requires 2 iron cores in your hand, or atleast one iron core and one spell or trap card you don't mind losing
Step 1: summon powerhand
Step 2: reveal good trap card
Step 3: mix up your hand a bit
Step 4: set your "bait" card
Step 5: Discard iron core to keep powerhand on the field instead of revealing your good trap card.
how does this help? well it makes your opponent think twice before attacking or it makes them waste a heavy storm or mst or etc. to get rid of it lol
