A haunter apeared through a wall ahead of him as Agent Panther wandered down the hall. He was heading out, to the outside. In the heat of the desert now was the only time when it was cool. Haunter hummed to himself as he floated. Panther pulled out his card and swipped it into the veding michen, gettign a bag of chips and a Soda. Poping the bag, he started wandering again. There had resently been some new recrutes who came in. 'Proabley a bunch of kids,' he though to himself and ate a chip.

Cal snored loudly from a dark corner. After a hard day of training, she found it too tiresome to return to her room and just found a place to nap. She rolled onto her side, curled up, and sighed. She dropped the pokeball that sh clucked in her hand- she hadn't let go of it since it hatched. With a bust of light, a odd colored Pichu sprang from the ball, ready for action. He landed on his trainer with a soft thud. "Pi??" he looked over Cal's sleeping body. "Pi! Pichu!" he tried to shake her awake, but she just shrugged him off. The Pichu looked at Cal mischievously and quickly shocked her. "OUCH! What was that for!?" She was wide awake now, arguing with the little Pichu.

Panther spoted a flash of light ahead. "hummm" he walked toward it and stopped infront of a girl and a pichu, in a courned of the building. "How strange."
Haunter floated down behing the pichu and tapped his shoulder.

"Skye, that was completely uncalled for." She stood and dusted herself off. She noticed a Haunter next to Skye, and giggled as he looked a little creeped out. "Pi?" he turned around cautiously to see a Haunter and it's trainer. He took a step back in surprise, then put on a front and puffed out his chest. Cal rolled her eyes at Skye and gave a small wave to the rocket member, "Hi!"

Haunter laughed and floated up by Panther's shoulder, bobing as if in water.
Panther smiled a little. "Hello. You alright? I saw a flash of light up here." He glanced down at the pichu. "Tough little guy huh?"

"Oh I'm fine." She laughed a bit as Skye went to sit on her head. "He just decided to wake me from my nap." Skye fiddled with Cal's hair as she spoke. "Don't be fooled by him, he's a big chicken." "Chu!" he bit her hat with his small teeth. Cal just laughed at his silly behavior.

"A chicken Hum? I dont' think do. He doesn't seem to afraid of Shade here. Of course he's fairly layed back for a ghost type. Sometimes."
In rebuke, the Haunter pulled at the sides of his face, streaching it out, and stuck it's tounge out at panther waveing it in the air. Little spit dropets flew onto panther's sunglasses, and he frowned, taking them off to wipe them down, shoving his drink and chips into one hand to do so.

Cal giggled, "You just have to get him at the right moment!" She picked up the squirming Pichu in her hands. He mimiced Haunter and blew raspberries in her face. She placed him on the floor and whipped off her face.
"Shade's cute, unlike Skye here." She stuck her tongue out at Skye and he did the same. Her stomach grumbled and she looked over to the vending machine. "I'm Cal, by the way." She said she made her way over to the vending machine. "It's nice to meet someone other that trainees." Skye peered into the machine pointing out things that he wanted.

"ahh, did you come with the latest shipment? We've been getting a lot of new people lately." he nodded and behind her back gave his Huanter a nugie. "Don't do that." he whipsered as the haunter laughted heartly. He excaped Panther's grip and floated down at the Pichu's level making all sorts of strange faces.

"Yeah, I mostly observed them. I don't think they're too impressive." Cal swiped her card and got a bag of chips. Skye was to occupied by Shade to complain about Cal's choice. "So what's you name? If you're willing to tell me." she laughed and opened the chips. She handed one to Skye, who greedily ate it before returning to making faces at Haunter.

"Depends, usually they have some potential. otherwise they aren't picked." he shrugged easily. "I'm Panther."
Haunter pouted at Skyes gaing of a chip and floated up to Cal's hieght. "Haunter." he pointed to her chips.

"That is true, good thing I have potential." She giggled and handed Shade a chip that was considerably bigger than Skye's chip. He quickly climbed onto Cal's head and reached for Shade's chip. "Pichu pi!" he tottered at the end of her hat. Cal picked him up and held him in her arms, "You need to share, M'k?" She handed Skye her last chip, but he refused it, wanting Shade's.
"Well, it's nice to meet you." she balanced the struggling Pichu in her arms and smiled at Panther.

Haunter took the prooffered chip and did a back flip mid air before muching on it with his eyes closed. "Huanter huan..."
He smiled back "As it was to meet you. So... What are you doing out this late at night? it's not exactly normal hours. Most of the traniees train during the day hours, and most grunts fallow that schedual."

"Pi..." Skye whined as Shade ate the chip. He snatch the chip he rejected before Cal had a chance to eat it. He scurried up her shoulders and nibbled t the chip. Cal sighed as she swiped her card again, this time getting a drink. "I fell asleep during the afternoon." She took a big gulp of her soda before continuing, "Training was rough and I'm not used to this heat. It should be pretty cool now, you want to go for a walk?" Skye seemed to like the idea because he ran to the door and fussed trying to open it.

"Actually, I was already heading that way. I understand the heat issue, it's the one thing I don't like about the dessert, It's so bright and sunny in the day time. Too hot to train. Good thing most stealing is done under cover of night, right?" He chuckled, opening his bag of chips once again to eat a few, Shade hanging over his shoulder and begging for some more.
