My my, I feel like such a non-productive member of this society. After a long absence, I am returned, hopefully to remain for quite some time.

But onto why you're (hopefully) reading this. After the War of the Elements, many artifacts in our world became, less powerful. One such one, the floating Artifact City of Aropolis, became less in tune with the air elementals keeping it afloat. It, as thousand ton things tend to do, fell to the earth. It's been centuries since then. And this little group of plunderers is out to seek riches where hundreds have plundered, and died, before them.

PM me your character, and we'll discuss it.
I'll post mine as an example.

Name: What Flows Like Water (Waf for short, please.)
Species: Djala (short humans with white skin with black spots. Affectionately called panda boys.)
Sex: Male
Age: Sixteen
Height: 5'6"
Weight: 130lbs
Appearance: A short, thin male Djala. He has black patches over both his eyes, a few on his arms, one on his belly, and one on each knee. His eyes are blue, and he keeps his body without hair. He naturally has no eyebrows. He wears tatters of a pair of shorts, the only clothes he's ever owned. He wears a red scarf around his neck, probably stolen.
Brief history: In the First Age, after the Elemental War, the Djala were primarily pleasure servants of rich individuals. What Flows Like Water is no exception. He grew up taught how to please his owners, but at the young age of thirteen killed his master's husband. He just didn't swing that way. He's been running since. In a tavern in Alajula he heard a rumor about the fallen Artifact City. He's convinced himself that he can restore the city to a floating platform, and create a Utopia for the Djala.
Miscellaneous: What Flows Like Water's name refers to his ability to belly dance. He's also shown great prowess with short blades, having worked them into his dance routine. He can leap about eight feet and is excellent at climbing. Most Djala are. He's not very bright, but now and again shows an abnormal amount of intelligence. He may be channeling a demon.

And with that example, we're almost done. One big thing, keep it PG-13. Anything past light groping, take it to a PM, or just skip over it. You cannot kill another character without consulting the player. Be literate. L33t Sp34k will not be tolerated, and spell check if you don't know how to spell something. And have fun. That's what we're here for, right?
