Just got back from band practice. We cut practice short to watch the hockey game. Man, was it ever epic! I don't usually watch sports, but that was the most climactic game I've ever seen.
Suck it, US! Canada won Gold! And broke the record for most gold Olympic medals won in history.
I'm from Canada, BTW.

Biohazard EXTREME Just got back from band practice. We cut practice short to watch the hockey game. Man, was it ever epic! I don't usually watch sports, but that was the most climactic game I've ever seen. Suck it, US! Canada won Gold! And broke the record for most gold Olympic medals won in history. I'm from Canada, BTW. ooo thats kewl. good for u. i dun really get into sports outside archery.

I've been nice and busy. Seems to be my new habit. lol I am going to my first art auction tomorrow and will have a piece auctioned.
Been doing a lot of sculpture things lately. Newest thing to me and I have a class so it's out of excitement I think. lol
(I don't get the whole competitive thing in sports---I understand you want to be competitive in the will to win, but I don't get the remarks made over winning or losing. lol People are so serious...)

Well, that's what sports are about. Competition. The remarks, well it's just very climactic. I mean, you got your country going up against another country. Chances are, you're gonna be patriotic and root for your own country. And when the game is on, it gets so climactic, you're just on the edge of your seat. You might as well be watching war. And in the Olympics, these are pretty much the best athletes the world has to offer. So it's your country's best against another country's best. And when yout country wins gold, it's like... It might be one team, but they're representing the whole country. So even if they win gold, you win gold.

even compition with ur own country has same effect, its just fun to be somewhat compeitive.

Yeah. Well, if you're really into sports, yeah. I don't really care if it's one Canadian team against another. The Olympics are pretty much the only time I really root for a team. That and that UEFA Soccer thing that happened in 2008. That was pretty climactic.
