Wind Chasers
Among the many clearings in the swamps, there is a rather large one that sticks out. It has size enough to fit many tens of kimeti, but those who visit only use a small portion in the middle. There is a natural stone there, 3 kimeti tall and thrice as many round. It has been marked and scratched by horn and hoof, and you aren't sure if they are all by kimeti.
Right now, a strong brown buck stands on the top of the rock, surveying the few kimeti. You knew they would be here soon, but they won't stay for long.
They are called the Wind Chasers, and for some reason, you feel the same pull of the wind they do.
The buck beckons you, and you join the circle of other kimeti around him. They look at you with adventure in their eyes and you know you've found a family, and a home.
"Welcome," they say in unison. And for the first time, you truly feel they meant it.

How to Chase the Wind
Rabbit is the King of the Wind Chasers, and whomever takes his mantel after him will be called King too.
Wind Chasers are a tribe that are entirely nomadic in nature. They have a strict sense of family, and even if two kimeti have no blood relation, they are still called 'cousin'.
Any foal, filly, or colt in the tribe is cared for by every member in some way or another. While they will generally have a mated pair or solitary kimeti watching over them, they have full protection and familial bonds to every kimeti who chases wind.
Rankings aren't very important to the Wind Chasers; they are free spirits like the wind itself. Rabbit is their King, and he directs them as necessary. Any sort of importance is usually determined by age or length of chasing time.
While there aren't many areas of the swamp that haven't felt their hoofbeats, they prefer the borderlands.

These kimeti show up and travel for only a short while before leaving. They aren't considered full members but they have benefits not given to non-members. They are considered like distant-cousins or a cousin of a cousin.

So you think you have what it takes? To join the Wind Chasers, you must submit yourself to Rabbit. He has final say, but he will listen to other prominent members too.
