Silence filled the air as the little filly walked around the open field. Her father was close by, but far enough that Nova felt she had a bit of freedom. A small, purple butterfly followed the little purple filly. She lifted her head slightly, taking in the warmth of the sun. It was such a wonderful feeling. At the moment, there was the faintest of breezes, which kept her cool while the sun's rays kept her a little warm. It was perfect.
The little filly lowered her head and looked around, the tall grass reaching up to the middle of her legs. Luckily, she had gotten the hang of this walking thing a while ago. Her legs were much stronger than they were when she first peeked out from the purple basket she was put in. Now, what would she do today?

 Ardius was enjoying having fun sneeking away from his family even if he would get a lecture about why he should stay close with the family. snickering as he bolted in the direction he had chosen to go exploring, he hoped to have a good adventure to tell his siblings about. it was just too nice of a day not to take full advantage of and he planned to take full advantage of whatever came his way today.

Nova continued to travel forward, simply enjoying being able to be out and about. Everyone needed alone time now and again, right? Of course, having someone else was always nice. Either way, the little filly was happy. Everything was good and everyone she had met were kind. She wondered if everyone was this way. Maybe her father was right, only humans were monsters.
The purple filly took step after step through the tall grass, her purple wings shimmered with the sun, much like her mother wing's did. Her dark purple legs carried her awkwardly, but what foal didn't look at least a little awkward with their long legs? When something caught her eye, Nova glanced in the direction of the dark colt and felt her orange hooves dig into the ground and her long legs lock up. Maybe he wouldn't see her...

Ardius grew wide eyed when he noticed a rather bright purple filly by chance that had wings too. skidding to a halt, he was shocked by her colors and wings. "whoooooooaaaa!" was all he said as he just suddenly and boldly went up to her with a big grin on his face. he was not mean or anything, in fact he was a sweetheart who was rather prideful even if it didn't show right now since he was a little foal. "who are you and why are you that color!?" tilting his head, he was eyeing her wings and their colors now so he was not yet concerned if he had over step his boundaries by being overly friendly and curious.

Nova watched the other colt come right up to her with wide eyes. It seemed he had no manners, but that did not bother her at all. She swallowed hard and took in a deep breath before forcing herself to speak. "I-I'm Nova and I'm th-this color b-because my d-daddy is this color." The filly hated her stutter, but knew it would fade after she got to know this colt a little better and felt more comfortable around him, or at least she hoped. He seemed extremely friendly and more concerned about her strange appearance. She followed his gaze to her wings and smiled. They were something she could be proud of.

"thats cool! i get my colors from my dad too." Ardius was still grinning, but when he noticed she wasn't exactly comfortable with how close he was, he backed off a little from her. "umm sorry if i was getting to close, i just like your wings since i never seen anyone with them before." he now just had a small smile on his face. "my name is Ardius, its nice to meet you Nova." puffing his chest, he was proud of his name and family.

Nova watched as the colt took a few steps back and smiled when he apologized. "I-I'm just a l-little shy..." The filly said softly before looking back at her glimmering wings, which she shuffled slightly. "They are j-just like bird w-wings." She gracefully bowed her head and smiled politely at the colt. "It is nice to meet you as well, Ardius." Nova couldn't help but giggle a little at him puffing up his tiny chest, well it was tiny compared to her father's.

" oh....." Ardius was now grinning broadly again, and his tail was flicking about. " yeah they are so cool too!" he now was curious if she could even fly with those bird wings of hers, since birds could fly with those wings. "can you fly at all with those?" he couldn't help but ask about it, since his curiosity got the better of him.

Nova felt her cheeks warm in a blush and she turned her head to look back at her wings, mostly so the colt wouldn't notice her blush. "U-Um... My mommy can f-fly with them." At the moment, she could barely understand how to move the strange things. Even though she had been practicing, she still didn't exactly know how to get them to spread out like her mother could so easily spread her own wings. She would do it though and enjoy flying with the birds one of these days.

"COOL!!!!" Ardius was not totally well mannered yet and couldn't help but be very childish since he was very young still. "i bet you will fly when your all grown up!" prancing about now, he was just a bundle of energy right now and defiantly not shy at all. "you so should show me when you learn to fly!"

Nova giggled at the colt and nodded her head. "Yes, I plan to join the many birds in the sky." Her ears flicked back and fourth as she watched the little colt. Was this the way she was supposed to act? Her head tilted slightly before she perked up at his statement. "Oh, of course. If we ever run into each other when we are older, I will show you!" Her light colored tail flicked back and forth as she thought about running into the colt when he was older. How strange that would be... seeing him all grown up.

"that would be awsome." Ardius was having a lot of fun now and because of his curiosity he kept blurting out questions. " do you wanna play a game at all?" he loved games so it was the next thing he wanted to do with his new found friend. ofcourse he hoped he would end up seeing her again at some point after their adventure today.
