The field was particularly bleak this day. The sky overhead was overcast, dim and threatening to rain. But Dei-Rune liked it this way. It was easier to hunt on the plains when it was dark, and he often pretended the rain was one of blood. Something so seemingly childish hardly seemed capable of reaching such a morbid level that it made him want to bask as if in a single ray of sun amidst the darkness.
But he would have to wait, for the clouds were denying him. He glared up at them before his eyes darted back accross the plains, following some motion or other. He drew himself low to the ground and drew a wicked grin as his claws pulsed in the soil before he would pelt from his place after the little tuft of existance readying itself to be wiped out. Simply admitting existance was painfully often the signing of one's death warrant around this bloodthirsty creature, who rarely killed for less than the liquid's sweet nectar, and always had plenty around thanks to the habit.
He raised his head from the squeal of the rabbit he now held pinned... Something was off... What was it? What could be plotting to ruin his kill? He grinned down at the rabbit, dismissing the idea and proceeding to rip the rabbit to death, revelling in the gruesome scene.

Gemma raised her head to look towards the sky. She was not happy with the sky. She had wanted to take a swim in the lake but it seemed the sky had other plans. It was dark and looked as though it would spill over with rain at any moment. Gemma was irritated that she would have to find shelter before the rain began. Her day of relaxing was ruined before it even got it started.
She decided to salvage this day somehow so she decided to explore a new way thorough the plains today. She had always wanted to explore this particular way where the greenery was so beautiful. She walked down the path admiring how beautiful the flowers looked even with the sky so downcast. Eventually she came to an area that was not as beautiful as the rest and seemed to be quite bleak. She wondered why this area seemed so different from the rest.
As Gemma was walking by a bush she heard a movement that distracted her from her thoughts. She wondered who else would be out on the plain on this dreary day.
She was going to ignore the sound and keep going until she heard the squeal of a animal in pain. She decided she needed to help the poor soul and moved very slowly towards the noise. As she peaked around the bush she saw a sight most gruesome. A Male was tearing apart a poor rabbit! This was not an average hunt to eat scene. This male was obviously enjoying this act of horror. His eyes held joy as he committed this horrible act. Gemma was so stunned all she could do was stand there and watch. She could not even move from or look away from the scene.

Dei dug his nose into the rabbit's mutilated, ripped flesh, letting the warm, crimson fluid dance accross his fur and grinning when he came up, muzzle coated in the small animal's blood as though it were warpaint, and he were at war with all things. But it wasn't must the blood this maniac bathed in, the scene grew more gruesome when he tore loose some organ or other and made to splash himself with the blood squeezed from it.
As he rolled his head around to do this, his eyes found Gemma, and a low growl began in his throat, hackles rising as the organ broke in his maw, dripping blood. "If you're lost, you'd better hope you're fast..." He snarled out at her, a murderous tint glowing in his eyes once again. He didn't care that she was another Saigh, and he couldn't smell gender, he didn't care. Even if she had been, he couldn't have smelled if she was in heat, his nose was so gleefully preoccupied with the scent of blood, and his tongue so taken with it's taste.
He grinned when he recognized the petrification in her limbs: A symptom he'd met with before, and stepped closer. "Awww, you scared, kitten?" He taunted softly. "Or does it come down to a shared interest...?" He only grinned wider, blood-soaked fangs dripping the thick, red liquid in plain sight. "You know, I would happily take your blood the same way, if you're so sure you'd like to relinquish it, kitten."

Gemma stood there stunned as the male took notice of her. As he looked up she could see the blood dripping from his mouth and fangs. It was a truly a horrifying sight to witness.
The male then began to talk to her. Telling her that she had better be quick or he would slay her like the rabbit. She hurried and calculated in her head what her options where. She knew that he would catch her if she ran. It was quiet clear that he was used to situations like these. She also knew that she would not die without fighting. She was not a coward and she would make sure that she did not die like one.
As she finally made her decision to face him she answered his question. "I am no kitten and I am not scared of an insane male like you." While answering she looked him in the eyes with as much courage as she could muster. "If I were to die by your hands it would not be as a coward like you are."

He snickered at her, bloody fangs bared as the blood began to dry slowly in the chill air. There was a blast of white light overhead, and a heavy roll of thunder as he grinned, illuminating all the worst features to see on a creature already believed insane. His grin would remind a human of Batman's "the Joker" with a catch in their throats as he stepped away from the made kill to walk around the fae, casting her shape a critical eye. "Ahhhh, so you SAY!" He cooed, grinning softly.
"But what are you really thinking, hmm? Something along the lines of 'I hope he doesn't try to kill me... I don't want to look like that rabbit'.... Right?" He snickered softly, examining her muscles. They weren't coiled in prep to run, that was for sure... But they were awefully tight, it seemed... ~Anticipation, perhaps?~ He thought quietly, his smile widening as he walked around in front of her again. ~For what... The storm... The fight...~ His eyes were thin as his evil glare fell over her face again. "Or something else..." He muttered, only grinning. Only, ever, grinning...
"Dear girl... It doesn't matter WHAT you are, now... You are MINE... So long as I choose to partake of you..." He hummed softly, thinking a moment, then dragged the mutilated carcass between himself and her, most of the organs still residing in the rent-apart flesh of the animal's remains. "Interested? Aweful lot of meat on this buck..."

She knew that he wanted her to scared. Which she wasn't lyeing to her self she was definitely scared. However, she would not admit it or show it to him. This male was clearly insane and he would feed off of her fear if she showed it.
Gemma moved the gruesome rabbit away from her and rolled her eyes at the male. "I am not yours nor anyone else. I do not want anything that you have either." As she said this she looked him directly in the eyes.
The thunder was very loud in the background and it was throwing her off. She really just wanted to go far away from this scene. Gemma wanted to back down and run so very far away. She knew, however, that this would mean death. It would also mean giving him joy which she would not do. She had never met a male such as this. Most of the ones she had come in contact with had tried to woo her. This one seemed to not even notice she was a girl. This one was very different from the rest. His markings was beautiful but his personality was not. She had no idea how to even really handle this situation. She was just going with the flow on this one.

'Going with the flow'... Particularly THIS flow... Staring you in the face... Seemed to be a bad idea... And going against it didn't make him happy, either. He frowned down at the ruined carcass, then up to the fae with a less and less happy snarl on his fangs. "You ARE mine... To kill, to release... Or to toy with..." He growled out at her, taking a forceful step forward and drawing his paw accross his chest before it landed backwards accross her face.
"COWER, FAE!" He snarled, putting all his wait into one paw which he set along her spine just between her shoulders. "You will NOT talk back to me!" He snarled at her, his thick claws peeking out and threatening to poke through her fur. Something about this fae irritated him. Beyond the defiance and denial he usually recieved, beyond the conditions and the fresh blood in his muzzle... He wanted something... More from this Saigh, and he couldn't remember ever having felt the sensation before, or what it meant. Or even what he wanted. And it bothered the killer, even as he pinned the fae, that he couldn't tell if he wanted to kill her or let her go, or... 'something else', whatever that was. But he was determined to find out.

Gemma was not happy at the situation she was in. How dare he tell her to cower. She started to growl at him and properly tried to smack him with her paws. She made sure to try and claw at his face and eyes. She was not a cub going to go down without a fight.
"Get off me you Creep! I do not belong to you and you will not toy with me!" Gemma tried her best to fight with this male but he was strong. He had a huge advantage on her. She felt some part of his body by her mouth so she decided to bite him. She had no idea what she bit but that was the only defense she had at the moment. This male was angry and she had to get him off of her in some way.

The flesh she'd found in her maw was that of one of his ankles, and he gave a loud snarl of contempt as his free paw dropped onto her muzzle, claws bared menacingly close to her nose and eyes as he worked to push her loose. Finally tired on this game, he dropped his bloodied maw and sank his fangs into the muscle-covering flesh of her shoulders, bunching up flesh, fur, and muscle between his jaws and giving it all a threatening pressure to it.
The beast was unaware that this was a maneuver many canines on other continents and planets used to force potential mates into the appropriate position, and somewhat less than aware of the arousal of something new from this fae's argument against his power; a power he was so sure was ultimate and all-ending. Gemma was truly denying him the power he was so sure he had, and it was only making that strange sensation he couldn't figure out more and more powerful.

Gemma was fighting this male with every bit of what she had. It seemed to no anvil in this fight. It looked as though she was going to lose . Her muzzle was in pain from his hit but she continued with her biting.
Then he bit her back. But this bite was not in a place that Gemma had ever expected to be. Gemma was confused at the encounter now. She had no idea what to do. her instincts where telling her to submit but she knew that if she did it could mean death. Gemma tried to paw at him to get off of her. She accidentally made a whining noise as she tried to fight. She could not allow him to win no matter how confused she was. Her instincts where fighting against her. So now she was not only fighting this male but her emotions as well.

(hehehe. It seemed to no anvil. XD)
Dei grinned, closing his jaws threateningly again on the flesh. "Leh' mah leg goh an' ah MAHGHT le' you li'f..." he challenged, through the mound of faeflesh he tasted. His fangs longed to lock down tighter and draw some of that sweet liquid, but something else demanded attention stronger, and he was beginning to discover what it may be. His rolling, snarling hiss was matched only by the roll in his lips as they curled back to reveal his fangs.
That much, he could promise: That he might let her live. However, he wanted to experiment with his new little desires before he'd let her leave. And after that, he couldn't guarantee anything. He'd get his exploration done whether she wanted him to or not. After all, she was HIS toy, now, 'till he let her go.

(I could not find the right word there. Spell check failed me. lol)
Gemma was not so sure what to do. If she let go he might kill her but it seemed that he was going to anyway if she did not. Worst then being killed would be the shame that she let him have the upper hand.
Gemma decided to let go. She unclasped her fangs from his leg to see what he would do. If he did not let go then she would start to fight again. He might kill her instantly but then that would be a relief from all of the fighting. It was really bringing her down.

(avail. No biggy. ^-^)
Dei grinned as she let him loose and sidled his hindquarters away from her maw, arranging himself in the odd position instinct required and examining it for a moment. After a little experimentation, he grinned and let instinct lead the way as he proceeded to mount, and ravage the fae under him, grinning viciously as he pounded the feline under him into the dirt even after the rain finally started.
When his body finally shuddered with defeat, he'd climb off the fae and grin down at her, giving her a wide berth. Even a killer had his desires, apparently. "So well-behaved..." He growled wickedly, dragging his paw over her head and between her ears, claws stretched to dance just over her skin under the fur that rested there. "If you promise to be a good girl, I'll even share my cave with you for the night."
She was his. By instinct's demand, he had MADE her his. But that meant not by one lick he'd be taking responsibility for anything other than his own desires, even if she DID have the ability to stay in whatever he called a Den offered her. It was merely a formality, perhaps a way to repeat the action later in the evening if he so desired, as the rain continued to re-wet the blood on his snout and paws. "Or you can stumble off into the rain... It's up to you, Kitten." He grinned wickedly, and started heading off through the rain, looking back only to see which path the abused fae might take.
(If you want to continue this one, that's fine. If you'd like to start another one, I have other Saigh she can play with. They're all in my journal. ^-^)

Gemma did not know how to feel during the ordeal with the male. She let him do what he wanted so he could hurry and be done. Her will power had left her and she had no will to fight it.
As he got off of her she heard him talking to her. He was talking to her as if she were nothing. She had let him get the best of her.
"I would never even think of being in the same den as you. You are a despicable coward. Not even worth my time talking to you." She told him with a snarl. Gemma walked off towards a cave she knew was near by. She wanted to go to a spring to wash him off of her, but it was raining and all she wanted to do was sleep and forget this day. She wanted to lay down and cry till she had no more tears. She would not cry in front of him. There was no way that he would see it bothered her so much.
(I do not mind if you want to continue or not. I am fine either way.)

He grinned as he watched her dissipate in the other direction and returned to his own path, loving every ounce of defeat in her voice. "I will CERTAINLY have to make sure and cross her path again..." He snickered, as he took his own path into shadow's murk., letting his mind wander now to the potential of catching a fish in the swollen river a little ways off from his den.
(If you'd like to start up the second topic, we could bring in Shiina and Xevrack or Whispy Cloud, if you'd like. I'd like to get some play in with Shiina, anyways. ^-^)
