Safurra could just not fathom the sight of his father's groveling. He frowned at the adult cheetah and shook his head. Oh well. The small blindingly white male, with a bright shock of main that traveled down his neck, similar to his father's.
With a small shake of his head, the white cheetah slunk away, similar to how his own father would walk, but in a far more menacing fashion. He made his way to the lake, glancing at where he thought he would find his siblings, or at least one of them.
Honestly, Jani had no idea how his life would turn out in this pride. He pondered over it. The large Lion, Mufasa, seemed to have this air about him, though, like he knew things no one else did. It made him curious.
Ruhusi looked down at the slightly mossy water of the lage, staring at his reflection for a second, sighing again, and pondered what would become of him.

Padding along, Ezili couldn't bring herself to spend too much time around the bulk of her family. While she would never admit to it, she had become overly rebellious to anything her family said and did, and would rather stare death in the face than go along with their wishes. It wasn't personal, really. She did have a love for them, there were just certain principles that she had.
She came closer to the lake, and her eye caught the tell-tale brightness of her brother's mane. She pinched in the side of her mouth, in a sort of smile. She hesitated, debating turning back, but ultimately went forward to spend some time with her brother before she knew their paths would separate. As things were, Ezili's free spirit couldn't be tied down, and she was chomping at the bit to find a way out and be on her own.

Furaa stretched forward along the lush grass. A small yawn and another sigh. His thoughts troubled him like no other. He shook his head, hard enough for his ears to make a sound as they snapped together.
Then, he let his gave wander. A bright pink seemed to catch his eyes - it could only be someone of his family in these parts. He hadn't seen the color on any of the others - or ever for that matter.
He determined it was Ezili - one of his two sister.
"Afternoon, Ezili," he spoke with a soft cadence, thoughts still troubling his mind - thinking of multiple things at once. "What bring you here on such a lovely day?"

Ears flicking back rapidly, Ezili's eyes moved to the side; she was unaware she had company. Turning around, she saw the green and white of her brother, Furaa. While she wasn't one for parental figures, Ezili always had a fondness for her siblings.
"Hey." Head still facing him, her eyes dropped to the ground. She felt a slight twinge of guilt for thinking what she just was, but it didn't have too much to do with him. He was, after all, her brother. She felt that he was closer in every way than her parents would ever be, even if they didn't talk too much.
"What are you doing all the way out here? You weren't looking for me, were you?" Even though Ezili was still within range of her family, she had gone out a bit further than normal. To be alone, mainly, and to think.

Furaa gave a small frown at her, when she lowered her eyes. "I was," he gave a small nod. "I was looking for anyone, really, to talk to," she shuffled softly, shaking his head.
"Watching father grovel to mother is a bit embarrassing," he noted, which was the reason he had left to find one of his siblings in the first place. "You're the first one I found," he informed her.
He gave a pause. "I hope you don't mind my company," he asked almost shyly. She was alone when he arrived. Perhaps she wanted to be alone.

"Oh..." Anyone? For a moment, it made Ezili feel replaceable, but she knew that her brother probably didn't mean it in that way.
"It is. That's part of why I came out here." Sliding her eyes to the side, Ezili had never liked things like that at home. She was a strong cub, never wanting to see her father be like that. She loved him, and it hurt her to see that.
"I don't." Smiling, her eyes lit up a little as the conversation moved on. And besides, company would keep her mind off of things that made her cringe.

Furaa gave his sister a smile, he pretended to be strong and outgoing, but he was probably the weakest, emotionally, of his siblings. He wanted to be strong. "Oh, good, I was hoping you wouldn't," he admitted.
"How have you been Ezili?" He asked. He didn't talk to his siblings often, what with his mother trying to toughen him up and make him be like her. He felt bad, but he wanted to save his siblings from the wrath of their mother.
She was scary sometimes, especially when she was in a mood.
