Oh I'm unsure on favourite bands and such as I like too many. XD
But my favourite music genre is Psychedelic. ^_^

I'll listen to pretty much anything but rap and deathmetal/screamo
Every so often I'll listen to a bit of drum and bass. Pendulum and The Prodigy are my favorites there.
But mostly I like my music slow, post rock instrumental is good for relaxing and I suggest God is an astronaut, A silver mt.zion, If these trees could talk and Mogwai to you all.
Also one song by a math-rock band called This town needs guns that goes by the name of 'Zebra' It's a short song but amazingly created by mathmatical equations and dial tones (the noises your phone makes when you press a button) And is the only song I have ever heard that uses the sound of crushing paper as an outro.
Best of all though are the songs with deep lyrics, If I were totaly honest I don't really listen to music as much as listen to the words in the songs haha. The more recent MCR songs are good, as well as the newer Panic!at the disco. Cold, RED, Chevelle, Linkin Park, Institute, Adema.
My all time favorite band is Placebo, Brian molko is an amazing lyricist, singer and guitarist. My favorite song by said band is 'Sleeping with ghosts' which I suggest to all of you.

i listen to almost everything except rap and screamo and songs that are just rubbish lyrics and rubbish sound. =P
I have everything from Classical to hiphop, country to metal, classic rock to world, and of course Christian rock. Electronica is a new favorite.
My most listened to genre's are Country and rock. 2 biggest genre's i have are Country and Metal.
I listen to country almost all day everyday when I'm relaxing and going through life.
Metal is for when I'm doing hw, working, thinking, playing video games.
Favorite Bands: Nightwish, Rascal Flatts, Kenny Chesney, The City Drive, Beethoven, Bach, panic at the disco, Lynard Skynard, Aerosmith, Boston, Skillet, and Owl City. *~*~*

My favorites are mostly classic rock bands. Guns N' Roses, Motley Crue, Aerosmith, The Cult.. Ahh, I love me some 80s music. xD
I'm joining the 'anything but rap and screamo' team. I listen to some metal like Arch Enemy, but not screamo.

Mainly i can listen to Screamo some 80's and some soft mucis.

If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense.
Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't.
I can't choose a favourite artist, but I know my favourite genra is and forever will be Rock. ^_^ Any kind of Rock, too, J-Rock, Alt Rock, Classic Rock, ect. lol But for artists, I like and will listen to just about anyone EXCEPT ICP or anyone like that, like people signed to Psychopathic Records. >_< I can't stand them, lol
And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be.
And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?

My favorite genres are mainly psychedelic and indie. My favorite bands are Belle & Sebastian, the Doors, and Modest Mouse.
I'm pretty versatile and I'll listen to just about anything, including rap and screamo(though normally not by choice). I absolutely HATE country though.
Music is what gets me through my day.

In High School I was introduced to Christian and fell in love with it
And about six months ago I was introduced to Rock (both Classic and Modern) and so it's been added to my playlist as well.
I'll admit that I still have some old boy bands (Backstreet Boys, N'sync, etc)
And that Pop has begun to infiltrate my music as well as I'm deciding that I don't have to listen to strictly four or five genres.
I actually think I have a little bit of everything. Literally....

I like anything that makes me feel good at the moment. I used to deny liking pop or hip hop when I was younger. I was way too obsessed with how it would make me look to other people. Now I just listen to whatever is awesome to me at the moment. I just heard this pop band from Korea called 2NE1 tonight. They are really cool. It's a reggae, hip-hop, pop mix sung in Korean. I like The Killers, Bob Dylan, Smashing Pumpkins, Modest Mouse,Fleetwood Mac... all sorts of stuff. I love Hanson too. 3nodding

My favorite bands are: David Bowie, Peter Murphy, Emilie Autumn, Joy Division, The Velvet Underground, Brian Eno, the Sex Pistols, The Clash, the Horrorpops, Nine Inch Nails, Bauhaus, Christian Death, The Legendary Pink Dots, all of Ozzy's work, Depeche Mode, Creature Feature, Zombie Girl, Skinny Puppy, Vivaldi, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Johnny Cash,Gary Numan, Angelspit, Cinema Strange, The Talking Heads and Skeletal Family.
