Kuvu batted at a small rock at his feet. It certainly wasn't as fun as playing with his siblings, but at times he felt somewhat overwhelmed by just how many brothers he had, not to mention his one sister. Some days Kuvu felt sorry for his sister, as she was greatly outnumbered by boys in the litter, but she didn't seem to mind, or at least she didn't show that she minded.
Tail flicked about playfully as the rock tumbled about this way and that between his paws. Slowly his focus on the rock was fading, but not enough to lose complete interest in it. Picking the rock up in his teeth, he padded towards his numerous siblings, looking for someone to play with.

Before Kuvu could reach the largest group of his siblings, a patch of green blurred from the left and pounced Kuvu bodily. Playful teeth latched onto his ear and a lanky foreleg hung over his shoulders, keeping him from getting too far away. A mirthful eye winked at him from a few inches away, and Paki demanded around his mouthful, “Gemee de rick.”

The sudden weight of his brother landing on his nearly made Kuvu drop the rock. But he held on tightly to it as Paki grabbed his ear. A playful growl came from him as his brother demanded the rock. "Never!" He barked out around the rock and began to wiggle his body about trying to free himself of Paki's grip. "You will never get my rock." He exclaimed, nearly dropping the rock again as he spoke. It was hard to talk and keep the rock in his mouth, but he was determined not to let his brother get it. Not yet at least, it was more fun if he made Paki work for it.

Paki snarled and shook his head to jerk Kuvu’s ear, but the effect was unbalancing and coupled with the wriggling he fell to the side. Undeterred, he bent his front legs, hunkered down playfully and grinning. “Yeah? Well how about your leg?” he teased, inching a little closer and jumping for Kuvu’s back foot. The goal, of course, was to harass his brother until he dropped the rock, though if he won the prize he had no idea how to protect himself from the reverse situation. He hadn’t thought that far.
In fact he hadn’t thought out this plan at all. Before jumping Kuvu he’d been watching the bulk of his brothers talk and play. There were simply so many of them that he felt a little lost in the horde. Jumping his brother for play had been an impulsive decision made when he grew bored with moping. It was easier to focus on the one pup than the collective right now, and he hoped none of their siblings took a mind to join in.

Kuvu tried his best to move around to stop Paki from getting his foot, but he also didn't want to drop his rock, so in the end he let Paki grab his foot. Shifting the rock in his mouth so he could talk a bit clearer. "You shall never get my rock you fiend!" He laughed, and nearly dropped the rock. But with a quick snap of his jaws he recovered his precious rock. With Paki's weight on his back leg he certainly couldn't run or move much, so he had to think of something and fast.
Reaching his front paw to the side he starting batting at Paki's back legs trying to knock him off balance. Then perhaps if that worked he could run away, or get the high ground over his brother. His eyes moved to the pile of his other siblings, Kuvu was glad none of them had decided to join in as well, or he would be overwhelmed in no time. Swiping again at Paki's back leg this time he also added in a butt from his head into Paki's side. He would escape this evil doer one way or another.

A growl that would have sounded more intimidating from a larger dog came from Paki’s throat as he snapped at Kuvu’s foot. Something hit his leg in return and he skipped back to his brother’s hindquarters again, but the move was clearly more purposeful than accident, because Kuvu only had to turn in place while Packi was suddenly skipping over tripping paws and circling to find an opening.
Not wanting to move away (it seemed too much like retreat), when Kuvu made to give a head butt, Paki snapped for a ptach of neckfur. It was a spot their mother could have carried him by, and nothing to feel guilty for gnawing at. He hoped latching on would drag them both to the ground and a victor might emerge from whatever tussle ensued.

Kuvu smiled as his batting paws fought off Paki, even if it was only for a few moments. He would be the victor of this battle soon enough. Then he felt something grab the back of his neck, it didn't hurt but it certainly did take him by surprise. "Hey!" He yelled out and nearly dropped the rock again.
With Paki half on top of him, holding his scruff Kuvu had few options of how to get free. So he did the only thing that came to his mind. And that was to roll. Rolling in the direction of his brother he hoped to land on top of Paki, thusly make him let go of his scruff to allow him more free movement. So with all the strength he could muster Kuvu rolled towards Paki, putting all his weight into it.
