Note-taking supplies in his satchel and a jar of oil in hand, Tofir made his way from the healers' stores to the dining hall. The weyrling he was on his way to interview had said that he would probably be busy with Tatleth, but if he had spare time he'd be happy to help Tofir with his research. In Tofir's mind, that meant mealtimes were fair game. After all, it wasn't as though K'lar would have to do anything except eat and talk. Tofir would be the one who was trying to juggle eating with note-taking. There was a very good chance he wouldn't eat much at all, but in the grand scheme of things a single missed meal wasn't very important.
He scanned the dining hall, looking for the noisiest green in the room, figuring it would be faster to look for Tatleth than to try to find K'lar. Dragons were usually more distinctive than humans in a crowd. Particularly a crowd of humans. Particularly a dragon as vocal as Tatleth. He still remembered how she had made herself heard at the hatching yesterday. He hoped she would continue to be loquacious when it came to talking about the hatching, and wondered if she would speak to him directly or address him through K'lar. Either way worked for him.
When he spotted the pair he was looking for, Tofir made his way over to them and sat down across from K'lar. "Do you mind if I ask you those questions we talked about yesterday at the feast?"
