-Rap rap rap. Rap rap rap.
It was 2 am, and what started out as tiny little taps was quickly becoming a feverish rap at the dormitory door of Milla Ludkhannah.
Outside the door, beating at it until her poor knuckles ached was Aurora Namid. But it was not the Aurora her friend would expect to see when she finally decided to open the door...
Aurora looked like hell. Her eyes were puffy and red from crying, hysterical tears tracing lines down her cheeks. Her usually perfectly maintained hair was flustered and a mess two of the braids actually beginning to unravel and fall loosely. Even in the dark hallway it was pretty evident to whoever might see her that something was not right.
Upon closer inspection small bruises littered her back and sides, one particuarly nasty red ring around her wrist was already beginning to threaten with the black and blue it would surely become. Her shoulder as well.. something was.. wrong.. with it. She'd discover later that day that it'd been pulled from it's socket, would get to deal with a second dose of pain as the school nurse pushed it back in. But for now it didn't matter.
It was 2 am... it was dark.. cold.. and she had been violated. That Lieutenant had dug his head deep into her chest and... and.. All she wanted was someone she knew.. someone who would care. Not the silent and empty dorm room she'd originally returned to.
Rap rap rap.-

Mili's usually neat hair was sprawled all over her face, and when she woke up to the sound of pounding on her door, she breathed in a big chunk of it.
-- cough cough cough --
She sat up quickly and pushed it out of her face. This is why she never wore her hair down other than when she was sleeping.
The pounding continued. Grabbing the closest shirt and pair pants next to her, Mili slipped them on so she wouldn't be naked when she answered the door. Whoever was bothering her at this hour didn't deserve such a treat.
She hazily putzed with the bolt lock, and then opened the door. The person on the other side of it looked like Hell.
"Aurora?"

-Aurora seemed almost.. surprised.. when the door opened. As if she'd forgotten that that's what happened when one knocked at a door and had simply resigned herself to the task of rap rap rapping simply to keep her mind off of what it refused to leave. When her eyes focused on her friend however, even if she too did look a little scruffy, the fear apparent there softened lightly. A half sigh, half sob escaping her as she nearly shoved herself on the other girl, fingers gripping the fabric of her shirt. She was sure her tears were messing up Mili's sleeping clothes... atleast she wasn't wearing makeup though. Mascara was such a pain to clean...
Upon looking back.. Aurora would likely find this her finest hour. In fact she'd probably be appauled for the rudeness of bursting in on someone like this when she was finally clear enough to realize what she had done. But for now it did not matter. Sputtering between sobs, fingers latched to Mili's shirt like a tick hooked to a dog, she moaned unhappily, not caring that the door was still wide open.- "S...s..something.. h..horrible.."
