After catching up with her mother Persephone had clearly been out of sorts - due in large part to the large blue wolf she had glimpsed through the tree's, the pale markings on his forehead burning into her memory. Her mother had started to ask questions, ask her what was wrong and while Persephone was not typically one to keep such things from her mother something within kept her tongue tied about the strange blue creature.
She had made excuses of excitement and joy about their ending journey had run ahead promising to announce their arrival at the pack. She had dashed out of earshot before her mother could stop her, had to get away...although she had the distinctive feeling that she was just running towards more questions. Well she would would keep the mystery male to herself she promised. He'd be her secret and perhaps she would see him again.
The scent of other wolves grew stronger as she came across a barrier, a wicked thorned looking thing. Persephone wasn't sure hat she thought of it - pretty she supposed and she liked flowers had been born in a place where they grew rampant but these ones had thorns and Persephone respected thorns.

Finding strangers at the Thorn Wall seemed to be becoming somewhat of a habit lately Chantily thought to herself as she spied on the pale pink creature whom had just arrived. Female she noted, and by her stance and approach not one concerned with being seen, no sense of a fighters balance in her stride nor seeping keen gaze of a hunter, probably no threat then the pale wolf deduced after a few more moments of observation. Just another wolf run into the barrier and looking for either a home or a hand-out.
She huffed slightly, new members were welcome but she had never been keen on hand-outs, not without due reciprocation which few visitors seemed to offer, in any case she might as well introduce herself, the little she-wolf didn't look as though she would be moving on on her on - mostly she just seemed to be staring at the Wall. Slipping down through the tree's Chantily came up behind the equally if not more pale wolf. Her steps silent and carefully placed until she stood but a pace behind the wolfess.
"Hello"

Persephone as nosing gently at the wall of roses when a sudden voice behind her made her jump practically into them, letting out a soft yelp before scrambling away from the thorns. For a moment her heart beat in anticipation perhaps the blue beast of the forest had followed her, wished to speak with her! But no...her mind derailed that thought by informing her that the voice had been female. The forest beast had most definitely been male and upon turning to see who it was that had spoken she was greeted with a creature nearly as far away from the others dark coat as you could get, though she held a strong bearing and Persephone found herself crouching slightly.
"Sorry! sorry!, was just looking, my mother and I were told there was a pack here, a good pack with kind morals" She explained to the watchful female.

Cyclops often paced the thorn wall, usually because there was little else for him to do. He did not yet want to leave this pack, and as nothing terrible had followed him here, he was becoming comfortable. He still didn't have much of a job, though -- so pacing it was.
He heard the sound of two females speaking; the first voice he recognized as a packmate, the second he did not. Chantily he had encountered during that first meeting with Fantasia. She had called herself a warrior and she was, though she had seemed brusque -- possibly ill-suited to greeting a new member. Not that Cyclops, with his scarred face and worn attitude, was much better. He could try, at least.
"You don't have to apologize," he interrupted, stepping to where he judged the two wolves could see him. The newcomer smelled like a young adult, female; a little dirty, a little tired. "There is such a pack here, yes."

Chantily's nose twitched as she sensed another approaching - but this one she knew, the scent belonged to Cyclops the blue scarred wolf whom had been recruited at the same time as herself. Chantily often saw the blind creature pacing along the wall - sh wasn't sure if he was considering leaving or just bored - he wasn't the easiest to get to know and had a tendency to keep to himself most of the time. Perhaps that was something she should work on...getting to know the more reserved o the pack a bit better.
But that was a problem for later - right now she had to deal with the timid pink wolf who had wandered in Rose territory, thought wandered might not be the right word as she stated she had been searching for the pack. "Cyclops" She greeted the blue wolf though her attention remained upon the pink female who was still recovering from her near leap into the thorn hedge. Chantily sighed slightly and tried to ease up a little on the intimidation factor. "Indeed as my blue brother has stated such a pack does live here,I am Chantily and this is the lands of The Order of the Rose"

oh! Another wolf and this one..this one was blue! could it be..but no ,though male, his color was off - too bright and crossed with yellow and red...and his eyes, his eyes were strangely scarred where the beast from the forest had had a strong piercing look, this one despite the scars did not seem quite so brusque though wan't exactly leaping up and down with warmth either. "I am Persephone, and I have traveled far - from a sun touched meadow below the mountain to find sanctuary here" She told the two wolves - and didn't that sound pretty to the ears? She thought so, her mother would be proud.

Cyclops nodded in the direction he assumed Chantily was in, responding to her greeting. He heard the tension go out of Chantily's voice as she spoke. Perhaps living in a pack was calming some of her nerves. He knew it was having that effect on him.
A smile danced on his face as the newcomer introduced herself. He should introduce her to Xanthe, what with her talk of sun-touched meadows and sanctuaries. He was sure the two would go off on a long conversation about fairies or whatever mythical creatures they found in the bushes.
Immediately, questions popped into his mind, about whether Persephone was alone or being followed, or what she needed sanctuary from, but then he reminded himself that he was here as a welcoming committee, not an interrogator. "You can find sanctuary here," he said. "Our pack is built on defending the weak."'

Oh by all that was just please don't let this wolf be another free loader that didn't pull her own weight Chantilly prayed fervently thought she kept her face carefully schooled into a pleasant expression. How on earth were they supposed to help right the wrongs of Telk if they kept getting saddled with wolves like this poetic little beast.
Of course this was just the type of wolf she was supposed to be fighting to help Chantilly reminded herself, perhaps she will prove herself useful...somehow. "As Cyclops has stated I doubt the Master and Mistress will turn you away if you are in need of a place to stay"

Weak? well it was true she was not much of a fighter Persephone had to admit, but she liked to think sh could take care of herself if she had too - although she hadn't given the best impression so far she admitted - what with nearly leaping into the thorn bush and all. "Oh that would be most lovely!" She told the blue wolf, once more uttering the words she knew would make her mother proud in a bright an lively tone.
Mother would be along shortly she was sure, though one could never tell with her. It would be best if Persephone conducted herself as though she were to come out of the bush at any moment however - she could just see the disappointment that would glimmer in her mothers eyes if she heard of Persephone being uncivilized. "How do I find these leaders?" She asked

She seemed eager to please, which was an asset no matter what a wolf’s skills. (Of course, sometimes too much honey could make one sick... but Cyclops was too polite to mention that.) ”The Master and Mistress’ den is in the center of our territory,” he said. That wasn’t too much information to give a stranger; it wasn’t exactly a secret. ”Chantily and I can take you there.” The female might be annoyed at being drafted without a choice, but Cyclops wasn’t comfortable doing the errand on his own; while he could certainly find the alphas’ den on his own, and was sure someone could follow him, it wasn’t always the best idea, when he could see if she were to get in trouble.
”The pack is run by a pair of siblings,” he said helpfully. ”Fantasia and Terabithia.”

It was hardly surprising that Cyclops suggested what he did and though Chantilly was not exactly thrilled with the prospect of playing nursemaid to the skittish pink female she supposed it was a logical course of action. Despite this she cast a glance along the Thorn Wall. she hadn't finished her patrol of it...and if one stranger was lurking nears it edges who was to say there weren't more just out of sight.
Well thats a bit paranoid she thought to herself - but Chantily was quite devoted to her job. None the less it seemed she would have to return and finish her patrol afterwards. "Very well, Cyclops if you will take the lead I shall act a rear.." well she was going to say guard but that seemed a bit drastic even for her "..escort" she finished after a seconds hesitation.

If Persephone noticed Chantilly's hesitation she did a fine job of acting blissfully unawares, instead at the males suggestion and the females agreement she gave a few wags of her tail "Wonderful!" She declared in a pleasant soft voice "I would truly hate to become lost among the flowers! Why then I would have to wait for a fine prince to rescue me" She concluded in an amused tone - it would have been considered a fine joke in her old pack, polite humor her mother called it and good for breaking the ice when in the company of those you don't know well.

Cyclops nodded to Chantily, to accept her offer and show his gratefulness. She had a level head, when it was needed, at least.
He did take the lead, heading toward the center of the pack, where the alpha's dens could be found. The route was smooth and easy to follow, but each pack member had a den in the center and it wasn't difficult to get confused among them.
He snorted softly as the pale wolf mentioned fine princes. "I'm sure there are a few in this pack who would have been pleased to help you," he said, not including himself among that bunch. No, he was more like... an old lord, who watched everything happen around him but felt no emotional pull toward any of it.

Persephone beamed at Chantily and Cyclops as they ageed to be her escorts falling into step behind the blue wolf she cast one last look over her shoulder and into the woods. She was doing the right thing of course, the proper thing and it would please her mother to see them safety into this pack as she had intended. She would do her best to ignore the small, tiny part of her that rejected this return to order and safety. she would be a good member of the pack!
As her gaze turned back to the blue wolf in front of her she caught for just a moment the gaze of the tan female whom had first approached her. She was an intimidating creature with her bright green eyes and no nonsense bearing. Persephone couldn't help but duck her head slightly and hurry after the blue male. She didn't want to irritate the tan female... despite - or maybe because of - her gruff nature, Persephone rather liked her.
In an effort to refocus she pricked her ears and answered the blue wolf in a chipper voice "Truly? Well I think I shall rather like residing in a pack full of Knightly beasts who defend the weak" She told him with a slight laugh. What girl wouldn't right? though to be honest she sometimes wished for more then a simple gentlemen wolf.

Chantily watched as the pale female stared back into the woods, eyes narrowing slightly as she imagine just what the timid wolf might be thinking - or the packs sake Chantily hoped she was merely thankful to be leaving it behind, such thoughts would mean she'd be of little trouble...but Chantily wasn't going to bank on that and decided to keep an eye on the pale wolf for a while. Just in case. Moon help her is she caused undue trouble was the thought she tried on convey when Persephone caught her gaze before hurrying after Cyclops.
Sighing slightly she followed along, keeping close to the pale wolfs rear to discourage lagging behind Cyclops - the quicker she delivered this wolf to Fantasia and Terabithia to deal with the quicker she could ensure no others lurked about their boarders.
As they drew near the Alpha's dens Chantilly ghosted ahead "Stay with Cyclops" She told the pale wolf as she sought to see if Fantasia was in residence. He might be out but she defaulted to him in most cases rather then Terebithia - she liked Tera just fine and had no troubles working for her when needed but Fantasia had been the one to recruit her and was the one she reported too and thusly it was habit to seek him. Approaching the den slowly she called out. "Grand Master Fantasia?, are you available?" She paused a few paces away, ears pricked for an answer. She dare not do anything so...rude...as move closer to actually look within.
