Qaletaqa's heart was aching, his whole body shaking. He had gotten lost once again, but he felt that he could not complain. Still he quite missed his mother, perhaps someday again they'd find one another. At that moment however, he felt he needed a new endeavour, perhaps he could make a new friend, he certainly needed one to descend. He was feeling quite alone, with his future unknown.
With a sigh the ebony male with the red markings shook his head, he wasn't sure if he wanted to know what was ahead. Had he really heard a sound, or was his imagination so profound, that he could not tell what was real and what was not, how very like he to a little tot. With a snort he continued ahead without dread. He had faced that which was vile, he was after all versatile. Someday he would belong, even if his search were to be lifelong.

Snap! Rip! Cruuuunch! To the male who's fault it was for such sounds it was a pleasing medley as he ripped into his fresh kill. The rabbit he'd caught not too long ago lay limp in between his forepaws, mouth slightly agape to show yellow-stained buck teeth and button-black eyes. Even though it was long dead the tall, lanky male insisted on keeping it grasped as firmly as possible, relishing his prize.
Blaise enjoyed hunting, because it was like everything else that happened in life. A game. Although, others such as wandering and getting chased away didn't have nearly as juicy and lovely rewards. The bright crimson blood from the bunny stained his teal and gold maw, dribbling down thick onto his forepaws and flecking on his chest. Behind him a long tail thumped against the cool ground, pounding down what would soon be the first grass shoots of spring. He was the picture of contentment.

Onward did he march, past a golden larch. Through the yellow leaves and their bloom, another males perfume. Growing ever nearer, the figure became clearer. A green and golden creature, such an attractive feature. He spotted a carcass in his bloodied maw, perhaps he should withdraw. This did Qaletaqa decide against, and instead he commenced. There was no turning back, he had to take a crack. Were he not to do so, he might never have a friend, oh woe, what an end.
Now to get his attention, such a thought brought tension. His speech was incomprehensible, and he'd never been indispensable. Qaletaqa felt for a moment far from brave, but he lifted a paw up to wave. He only hoped the stranger would be kind and not maligned. Today he wished that fate would be straight.
"Harthar," he spoke as he waved his paw, his speech his only real flaw.

The still fairly young femme trotted through the wood, her tail raised high in the hair, her bespeckled hackles, shifting from side to side as she went along. She could smell the old scents of wolves who had passed by, old kills even, old dens by smaller animals. Shaking out her pelt a new scent caught her, it was close, just beyond her sight and it was of more than one. Both scents she could grasp were male, and there was another, but it was filled with blood an fear; a kill. They could have been together, a couple of males out on a hunting trip?
The thought ruffled Ara's fur as she licked her nose and grew excited. Since leaving her parents behind to go in search of whatever strange idea her brother had about finding some 'noble' pack, it had been a while since she had come across another wolf, not since the run in with the strange young male she had met as a pup. She longed to meet others that weren't her family. Her dark pelt shifted with it's bright swirls shifting as well as though moving with a life of their own. Her bright blue eyes coming alive as she moved foward joyfully.

[Trinket...I just noticed all of your sentences are rhyming....THAT IS SO COOL heart -unfortunately is too LAME to play that GAME- harharhar]
For a moment his expression morphed into one of slight disgust and confusion, the male noisily licking his chops and rubbing his tongue against his upper teeth. As lovely as the fine furred piece of meat before him tasted, it was the fur that wasn't so well. Still, Blaise soon forgot about that as he dug back into the small carcass. But even then he was distracted from his meal.
Creme-coloured 'eyebrows' lifted in surprise to frame wide golden eyes, and with a strip of flesh hanging limply from his muzzle, the male shifted from his slump to roll onto his belly, staring intently at the male that tried to get his attention.
Huh. That was new.
For a moment with pricked ears Blaise just listened to him, though the word he said was brief and to him, quite confusing. The strip of meat fell from his mouth as he chirped back in reply. "H-Harthur!" His tail began to thump the ground heavily as he looked for a response. Apparently that was how wolves greeted each other. When he had met Raive, he wasn't greeted in the same manner, but Blaise had a bad memory, and if questioned probably couldn't remember who Raive was. Despite his stutter and mispronunciation of the already garbled word, he thought he was doing rather well.
His nose twitched over the tantalizing smell of the black and red male who'd appeared, but another clung on the wind. Perhaps it was the male's as well? At this point he was unaware.

[Heh ^^;, I try...not sure how long it will last... but I've found it an interesting experiment]
Qaletaqa quite felt relieved, when the other did not seem peeved. His tail swayed, his happiness displayed. The response he heard, quite absurd, yet his own word, had never been preferred. He thought that here was someone nice, who would more than just suffice. Stepping near he flicked an ear, his tongue lolling out, so easily could he be devout.
His snout picked up a second scent, wondering if they themself would to them present. With a wiff he determined it to be a female, he supposed a welcome enough detail. His eyes scanned the scenery, but all he saw was greenery. Where was the stranger, were they he wondered now in danger. With a grunt he waited, to learn what was fated.

The chocolate colored female forced her head through the bushes spotting the two males, one who held himself lowly the other with a maw stained from a kill. She licked her nose and straightened herself up and pushed herself completely through, giving a slight swing to her hips. "Good afternoon." she said sweetly, her blue eyes alight a smile spreading over her maw.
She winked at the two of them moving towards the males and sat herself down carefully, wagging her tail playfully. "I'm not intruding am I?" she asked gently, lowering her head and tilting it to the side in a puppy-like manner. Her eyes flickered over the shredded corpse of the hare, she had already eaten though. As a pup she had vowed to prove to her father she could be as great a hunter as him and had practiced with every ounce of her soul up until the day she bid her fair wells with her parents. She pushed the memories aside though, it still hurt inside having left her beloved father. He called her his little Princess and she more than took it to heart.

A rustling in the foliage caused the male to turn away from the smaller wolf, quickly inhaling the strip of meat he had and standing.Another one! Well, not entirely another one, as there seemed for a moment to be only the disembodied head of a wolf, ahh, now there was. And a nice-sounding one at that. Blue ears ticked onto her sweet voice and his goofy smile more than matched her own.
"Who're you?" Blaise barked, head lowered as he kept his gaze on her. He was a fairly tall wolf, and from an angle he seemed to be in a defensive position. With big, boring gold eyes, a fresh kill behind him, he wouldn't been. If his tail weren't whipping about behind him like a love-struck pups'. He was just a little awkward, etiquette-wise.
Two people in one day! Boy, he must be lucky.

The chocolate colored femme grinned at the strange blue-ish male. He looked so strange in his defensive stance, but his tail slicing through the air behind him. It was almost cute, strange but cute. She could see the remnants of his kill behind him, she had no interest in the meat, they could have it.
"My name is Aranel." she said, wavering her own tail, thumping the ground softly. He seemed friendly enough, though she still couldn't tell to much about the other, she wondered if they were traveling together, but the more she looked at the two of them, the more it didn't seem likely that they even knew each other, that in fact just like herself they had merely happened upon one another.
Oh was today a lucky day or what?
"And what are you names?" she questioned, tilting her head in the other direction with her curiosity. The swirled markings around her eyes she had inherited from her mother seeming to smile as well as she did.

Qaletaqa blinked, as another looked distinct. He was not sure what to do, or even what to construe. This meeting had not been predicted, by his garbled speech he felt quite constricted. How was he to adequately speak, when mostly what he said to others might sound to them greek. He began to back away, but he could not move to his dismay. It was as though his paws were stuck, such he thought bad luck.
The other two were able to converse, wanting from them to disperse. Now if only he too could speak, without sounding like a freak. How glorious that would be, when he'd be filled with glee, and not wish to flee. He heard the lady say her name, his own name he then did proclaim, "Harow Iaar Qaletaqa. Neerce ter merrttchou.". He bowed his head still lower, it was not time to be a goer. His eyes were alight, hoping neither of them would to him slight.
