It couldn't be too hard to find each of his clutchsiblings. Morgath was determined to do so and Va'en was marching alongside his life mate, ready as anything to meet them and Theirs. After all, when they got bigger they would all have to work together. In the bronze's mouth, he carried a sweet roll between his teeth so as not to get it slobbery, pilfered from Va'en flitt Tazo, who had received the roll as a treat from one of His' sisters, after they had returned to the weyr. His had written a small message and sent the bronze flitt to bring the news to his family within the Weyr, promising a visit soon to introduce Morgath to his parents, sisters, and assorted other family members, maybe his previous master if he wasn't too busy.

Va'en walked with his hands in his pockets, sleeves rolled up past his elbows. He looked to the bronze with a faintly quirked brow. "So, Morgath, who do you want to find now? One of your clutchbrothers or do you want to work your way your sisters first?"

'Hm. I think I'd like to find my sisters first. Maybe Erath now. I can give her this. Perhaps she will like it.'

The weyrling gave a roll of his shoulders to form a vague shrug. "We shall see. If not, you can let her keep and do as she wants with it or you can eat it. Heh, Tazo isn't going to be happy when he gets back to find his roll gone. I suppose it's better for him. I don't want him to go and get fat. My sisters spoil him so. Go ahead and try calling to her. See what you get. I wouldn't know where she and Hers would be."

Morgath rumbled softly in agreement. 'I think I shall.' Then he shifted his mental focus to Erath. 'Erath, where are you? Are you and Yours busy? If not, Mine and I would like to visit for a little bit.'

. . . .I'm being called for.

Erath's soft voice broke the silence that the pair had been sharing as they sat idly in the barracks, Y'ul having opted out of being social for the day and instead putting her focus into reading a book. She'd pause in her reading when it came time to do something for Erath, the Green only complaining she itched or needed something whenever she was awake, and since the dragonet was more content to sleep now than anything else Y'ul was making good progress. She was more than halfway in when the voice entered her head and announced what was going on, and Y'ul looked down at the beast that was resting its head on her leg over the top of her book.

As much as Y'ul refused to accept she had gotten a dragon, something that was more like she was trying to get others to confirm it before she could honestly accept the situation, she often allowed Erath to sleep in her bunk with her, enjoying her scent and silent company at night.

"What do you mean? As in another dragon, or Song, or just something that happens I know nothing about?"

We are in the barracks, at Y'ul's bunk. You can come here if you wish to find us, we are not busy.

Erath completely ignored the question and instead responded to her clutchsibling before letting her eyes close back, her mind returning to its state of sleepiness.

'Mine, Erath says they are in the barracks. She and Hers are at Y'ul's bunk. They're not busy. We can visit.' The Bronze paused to lower his head to adjust the roll held gently between his teeth, still careful not to damage it or drool upon it. He intended for it to be a gift and he'd be most displeased with himself if he let it get in too bad of a state before he got a chance to give it.

When his partner paused, Va'en took the opportunity to stretch. Reaching his arms up over his head with fingers laced together, he leaned one way and then another before letting his hands drop again to his sides with a content sigh. He nodded. "Alright, Morgath. We can head over towards the barracks. I think know where I can find Y'ul's bunk." Turning, he swept a hand in the direction of the barracks then resumed walking. While the pair mostly walked side by side, when it got crowded or taking some small side route, Morgath would occasionally follow along behind his rider. Va'en let his thoughts wander as they walked. He could still scarcely believe what had happened, him getting a dragon, Bronze or otherwise. He had been an Excavator, now he was a fledgling Bronze rider. He gave a shake of his head, a bit of a grin still drifting across his face. He had believed as everyone that there had been a Queen in the stag egg. The weyrling heaved a sigh. He couldn't deny that he was still surprised and amazed in equal measure, and honored. There would be no denying that there was a lot of work ahead of them, but he was more than ready to tackle it.

Morgath had been following along Va'en's train of thought and gave him a bit of a nudge with his forehead. 'We can do it together. There won't be anything we can't do in time.' He shifted his wings briefly before resettling them against his back.

Va'en looked over his shoulder and into the Bronze's calm blue eyes with a quirked smile. "I know. We're getting close, by the way. Step lively now." The barracks lay ahead of them. There was enough room for Morgath to resume his place at Va'en's side now, if a step or two behind. It took a little searching, but before long the proper place had been located. "Let's see now. . .It should be around- Ah. Here." Va'en knocked against the wall. "Knock, knock. May we come in?"

'Erath, I brought you a gift. It's a sweet roll. Would you like it? I made sure to keep it nice.'

"I don't know why you're bothering to ask, since we're all so open here and you're a bunk above me. Come in."

Y'ul didn't even look up from her book at the knock, instead still reading, though the dragonet at her legs raised her head up to acknowledge her large brother. He was younger then her in terms of hatching order, her egg having come first, but he would probably always remain something of the big brother to all those in that particular clutch. Not just because of his size, of course, but because of his personality. Most of the others would fawn over him, but not really Erath. She didn't dislike or like him either way, but she certainly was not going to ignore him.

As much as I am flattered by your gift, I will have to pass Morgath. Y'ul does not seem to approve of me eating things that she does not give to me at this point in time. Please, eat it in my stead ad I would be happy.

It sounded like Erath was trying to be polite, but in reality she didn't want to have to get up to get the food morsel. If Morgath was willing to come to where she was with it and leave it before her then she'd probably be more willing to eat it, but seeing as she didn't think him the type to do so she chose the next best route. Her body shifted against Y'ul's legs and the girl finally lowered her book down after a few more moments, her eyes finally reaching Va'en.

"Oh, it's you - the boy who got the Gold Bronze. It's a pleasure meeting you."

"Heh, force of habit or upbringing, I guess. " Va'en said with a stretch as he entered. He leaned against the wall, looking the cover of Y'ul book over with a tilt of his head.

The large dragonet flanked Va'en on his way inside. He paused in the middle of room, sitting and showing no intent on eating the roll himself. He regarded his clutchsister with swirling blue eyes.

'Oh, I couldn't. Va'enMine has a flitt that gets them from his sister. She bakes quite often from what he tells me. He seems to enjoy bringing them around to try and impress any Golds that may be around.' The bronze snorted. 'He hasn't yet managed to capture one's interest. No matter though. I'd like for you to have it. You can keep it, hide it, eat it, throw it away. I just thought that it would be a good gesture.' He rose and did his best to make himself seem at least shorter as he drew close enough to drop the roll at her feet. 'If yours doesn't want you eating it, you can get rid of it. I wouldn't be offended. That would be a silly to get worked up over.' Morgath quickly scooted back to return himself to his position somewhere near Va'en but still sitting between him and the girls, curling his tail about his feet, maybe in an attempt to be stealthy if Y'ul didn't approve of sneaked goodies.

Va'en gave a bit of a laugh, scratching his chest and sighing as he finished. "Ah, yeah. That would be me. Do you think there will be any living it down?" Not that he was worried or self-conscious about the matter. He found it rather amusing, even if he was still sort of wrapping his head around the whole deal. If he sat himself down and let himself think, he would honestly say that he did feel a little pang of guilt for the hopes that had built up around Morgath's golden egg. The dragonet had gone around, nosing those hopefuls as a form of an apology. The weyrling shook his head and fanned his hand through the air, as if dismissing his own question. "It's a pleasure meeting you as well. It seems you and Erath are doing well, taking it easy. Enjoying yourselves and your book?" He had just finished his sentence when a loud trill came from outside and a bronze firelizard swooped in to drop down to land atop Va'en's head, causing him to wince as the flitt settled himself into a perching crouch on Va'en's head. "Oof! Oh, Tazo. Done it seems."

Now that the bread was finally within reach and Erath wouldn't have to move to get it she snapped her jaws shut around it, swallowing it quickly before Y'ul could even notice what may have gone on. Should dragons even eat rolls? Erath didn't know and didn't care, it was a gift she didn't have to work for so she was taking it without protest. It settled in her stomach easily and her thoughts stayed clear, or as clear as possible, for she didn't want her Rider to swing over and start yelling. Again.

"We'd all better get used to having no privacy here, what with how the bunks are set. I'm pretty good to have no one around me for a few beds, but that doesn't mean I can do as I please. I'm pretty sure things will get loud once we all start filing in for whatever time we can spare, so I'm getting in my little enjoyments while they last."

Y'ul shifted her legs from their seated position and swung them over the side of her bed, pushing herself up so that she was standing. For a moment they almost buckled, the weight of Erath on then for so long making them a bit numb to all the blood rush, but she managed to steady herself rather quickly. She rubbed the muscles of her legs as she chided herself for her carelessness, swinging her head over to the dragon on the bed who had lifted her own and spoke with concern.

Be careful.

Y'ul shook her head to indicate that she was fine, then turned her look back towards the boy. A flitt had joined him now in that brief exchange she'd had with Erath, and Y'ul grinned at its antics.

"I was reading a book on flitts to be more exact, and I find it funny that one happens to pop in almost as though he were summoned. You call him Tazo? I've got one of my own, Song. She's around here somewhere."

Morgath looked pleased that his gift was accepted so readily when it got within snapping distance of his sister. He gave a stretch before easing himself to a laying position, folding one of his front feet over the other, making himself comfortable.

Va'en gave a short chuckle and nodded. "Heh. Yeah, no kidding." He said as he looked up and down along the bunks. His own was sandwiched between Cass and T'rus with just a bunk on either side to offer a bit of space. He didn't mind too terribly. It wasn't something that he couldn't get used to. It was kind of nice, in fact. "Oh, I have no doubt about that. We certainly seem to have some characters in our new dragon companions. Some more so than others. If anything, things certainly ought to prove to be interesting." He looked between Morgath and Erath, briefly quirking a brow at his bronze for sneaking food to Erath even though Y'ul wasn't wanting her partner to snack. "Perhaps that's best. Getting in what quiet time we can before getting swept up in training and lessons and whatnot." His brows rose a little when Y'ul looked as if she was going to buckle. She righted herself well and Va'en elected to leave it be.

He winced again as Tazo continued his shifting in his attempt to find a place that he wouldn't wobble. Finally managing to find the exact center of the crown of the weyrling's head, he chirped triumphantly and spread his wings. "Better now?" Va'en asked with a grin before looking to Y'ul. Not wanting to send the bronze flit scrambling to reclaim his position on the apex of his head. "Mm-hmm. This is Tazo, one of my two flits. My other is Talut, who is more than likely napping on a precariously narrow ledge or found himself a place in my bunk. Talut is a lazy thing, but Tazo does well enough to make up for it. He listens well enough though, even if he has been known to get sidetracked from time to time." He quirked a bit of a grin himself. "Yeah, it's uncanny how good he is about doing that. I swear he follows me around or something. Oh man, he'd probably love to meet her. He seems to fancy himself a lady killer but he has yet to attract one's attention." Va'en lowered his voice to an almost conspiratorial tone. "I personally think he tries too hard, but that's just me." He let his brows drift a little further up his forehead in his mild curiosity. "A book on flits, huh? Anything of interest in it so far?"

Morgath's attention drifted up to the flit on top of Va'en's head. 'Oh, that's the one. He's the one who goes and either begs for sweets from Va'enMine's sister or he pilfers them. I'm not quite sure which yet.'

The one that Y'ul has is a Gold. She's around here somewhere and she seems heavy with something. She was flown I think and should clutch soon if I can tell.

Erath moved her head to look around and then lifted one of her wings revealing a bright Golden flitt that lay snuggled against the dragon's side. It was a wonder how long the little one had been laying there without Erath noticing or even caring, though once the wing was lifted Song's eyes opened with a blink and she let out a short croon that resembled a yawn. She stretched her arms and legs, all the while still pressed against Erath's side, though after a few pops and clicks she managed to get to her own feet and actually start climbing over the dragon to get to the other side of the bed where Y'ul was located. The woman looked over just in time to see her take a small tumble of her own and soon the gold was in safe and welcoming arms.

"I was reading up again on them because of this little one here - Song. She had a flight yesterday and it was the first time I'd actually seen her use her wings, so I was trying to catch up on what information I know about flitts and their body structures. I'd rather not have Song end up lame now from flying so far so fast after never taking into the air."
