Story:
Location: Silver City, California.
October 24-2003.
A meteor landed in the city. Scientists from all over the world travel to the city to investigate.
October 27-2003
The first murders take place. News of people being crazy and attacking other people -even eating them- cause fear in the scientists, and they start to leave the city.
The police believe that they are a Religious cult, who worship the meteor.
October 30-2003
More and more attacks. The evacuation starts. The last science team remaining in the city discovers an alien virus, wich reanimates dead cells. Mass fear. The Police Department is overwhelmed. The quarantine starts.
November 5-2003
After the quarantine starts to fail and all comunication with the military teams sent to rescue key members of the science team is lost, a soldiers tags the meteor, wich is nuked and destroyed along with the city. Only one ship is registered to leave the city before the explosion.

Two days later, members from the NecroTech corporation arrive at the zone to extract what is left from the meteor. They take the samples to Malton, where their HQ is located. They start to research using the virus (wich really was an alien spore, and not a virus at all) to create bio-weapons.
One year after the "Silver City incident", the first bio-weapon becomes alive, only to kill all the scientists in the research facility and escape.
Three years later, the specimen is captured. However, back at the facility, it escapes again, this time destroying the place completely. All of the test subjects escape, and so does the virus, including a stronger version of it, wich is capable of creating "mutants" instead of the more common "zombies".

Two days later, it seems like Silver City all over again....

This is where the RP takes place. Its been 2 days, so it will be different to "Escape". For example:
1-The quarantine is still weak, no AA guns or artillery. Only light defences around the city and support from the air force.
2-You can still walk in the street and see more civilians (hospitals will be crowded, etc, not everyone is a zombie yet) or the military helicopters landing on buildings and evacuating important people.
3-The Police Dept. is holding, and still sending people to places like hospitals to defend them.
4-Aliens. There will be a lot more than in "Escape". Why? Well, this time the aliens know that this is the same that happend with the meteor, and more importantly, they want to see what humans did to the "spores" to make them stronger.

However, some things may change. The characters may fall asleep and notice the next day that the "safe hospital" is now a place filled with the undead.

(also, the "first bio-weapon" is like nemesis from RE: strong and can be used as the antagonist).


Factions:
1-Civilians: Here you got the regular John Doe, cops, mall-security, etc. (skills may change, depending on the job he or she used to have).
2-Scientists: From NecroTech, other companies, the goverment, I dont give a crap. (They are intelligent, very skilled using computers and such and can open doors inside research facilities that other characters cant open).
3-The Military: The soldiers, mercenaries, etc. (skilled with weapons, explosives, etc. Not very skilled in the use of computers and such.)
4-NecroTech security: Think of the UBCS and Barney form Half-Life 1 combined. They may use helicopters and carry MP-5s, but the units that were defending the research facilities and the time of the outbreak carry only a 9mm gun and heavy Kevlar armor.
5-Aliens: How they look, what they do and how they do it may change.
6-Bio-Weapons: I guess you wont play as a zombie, so you can be a mutant. A smart one, a nemesis-like one, I dont care, as long as you dont screw the RP.

Objetives (in general, of course you can make your own):
Civilians: Escape or defend your homes until everything is under control.
Military: To eliminate the undead and to evacuate the scientists and civilians.
Scientists: To escape with a sample of the spore.
NecroTech security: To evacuate the NecroTech staff (or at least their spore samples) and to escape.
Aliens/Bio-Weapons: I dont know. It depends.

We could always start it outside of the guild then try to get everyone to join the guild

Jericho, California
Signs of the virus has surfaced, people have become infected. The city was closed up. The government put up containment walls around the city to hold back the infection. Uninfected survivors are now locked inside the city and are forced to fight against a seemingly endless army up infected, this is where our story starts..........
