Louisa had decided to do some photography after school. Generally she went home and did homework and the general things that needed doing before she went to 'sleep' but she had been getting less and less time to do what she enjoyed. So today she was planning on taking photos of some architecture and then wait for the sunset.

She hadn't gone far from school when she pulled the SLR camera out of her bag and started taking some photos of angles on the tree or how a tree seemed to frame the building behind it. She specialized in nature when it came to photography though occasionally she would take her camera out and take photos of other senshi and the occasional Nega - or at least that was her plan. She hadn't come cross any Negaverse.

She moved on from the tree to an older looking house where parts of the brick were crumbling slightly. She started to do some macro shots. Oh how she loved her photography. She would normally go home and edit them slightly but whether she would have time with homework and then patrol later. Well she might get to squeeze it in somewhere.

Robin was in one of her "wandering" moods today. There was no jazz band to absorb her afternoon; she was waiting on some sources for the Pecos Bill investigation; and, having already eaten all of her wasabi lollipops, she was out of weird candy to manipulate people into trying. Looking back, Robin decided that she'd had a busy week thus far anyway - one day of idle wandering wouldn't hurt!

But of course, Robin had a way of making grand new adventures out of what was supposed to be merely "idle' days. It was no fault of hers, really; she just happened to run into situations that, given her special influence, got a little more interesting than they were supposed to.

Take this scene: One of her fellow Meadowview ladies, innocently taking some snapshots of an old building. She wasn't likely to want to be bothered, obviously - for all Robin knew, she was doing important work for a school project, and all common sense dictated that this was someone to be left alone.

But oh no. This was Robin we were talking about here - and she wasn't going to leave someone alone just because it would make sense to! While Louisa was absorbed in capturing the perfect shot through her camera lens, up came Robin behind her, stepping gently so as not to the disturb the photographer.

"Trying to get the phantom on film? Commendable," Robin whispered, stooping down beside Louisa and picking at some grass with her fingers.

Louisa jumped even though the other girl was careful and whispered. She turned around suddenly and looked somewhat confused.

"The phantom? Nah maybe a few ghosts though." Which was in a way slightly true. She took photos to show the ghosts of the past. To preserve all that which was gone and would soon be gone. Yes it was an odd way of looking at things but this was Louisa and she wasn't what most would call normal and not only that she tended to stick to herself because of all these odd reasons.

"Erm, who are you anyway? I don't think I have met you before?" Louisa was slightly confused it wasn't unusual for her to have met someone and not necessarily remember. With the fact that she was a senshi too, she met people at school and senshi and then got completely confused. Too many names and faces to remember!

Turnabout was fair play; now Robin looked confused too. Lifting her chin in order to get a better peek at the house, she furrowed her brow. "There's ghosts in the house too, now?" she whispered after a few moments. How hadn't she heard of it -- oh god, was Louisa here to scoop her on a story?

The pink-haired girl was regarding the photographer a little more suspiciously now. "I don't think we've met either - but maybe online? I'm PixiStixRPeople of Don't Trust Your Eyes dot Com. Does that ring any bells?"

Little did Louisa know, this was a ploy. If Louisa recognized the name, then for sure she was a rival investigator, here to beat Robin to the punch on the ghosts-invade-phantom's-house story! If not.... Well, Robin hadn't thought that far yet, okay? She just didn't want to get scooped!

Louisa looked at the girl, still really confused.

"Erm no, sorry I haven't heard of it. I don't have as much time for online stuff as I might like with homework and photography and stuff." The stuff being her night time activities which she wasn't about to disclose to anyone, not unless she knew they were trustworthy.

"I am Louisa McIntyre, it's nice to meet you anyway. Maybe I could check out your website at some point, if I get a chance. What's it about?" Louisa thought she might as well ask. She wasn't overly social but she generally knew how to keep a conversation going as long as they didn't start talking about her. Then things just got awkward.

There was a moment where Robin was relieved that Louisa hadn't heard of her - then there was a moment where her face went sour, realizing that oh, she hasn't heard of me at ALL. Not that, you know. Robin needed to be famous or anything, but. She sort of expected that she was anyway, somehow.

It was cool, though. She could get over her ego. She just might be grinding her teeth for the next few minutes, but she'd get over it..

"Investigations. Paranormal. You know. Ghosts." Right to the point of relevance here - even before the proper introduction. "My name's Robin, by the way. Can I see your pictures when you're done? You never know, you might've gotten something good without knowing...."

Louisa listened and nodded. She wasn't one to judge, for all she knew there were ghosts and all that out there. She was a senshi and she existed so goodness knows what else was out there?

"Erm, sure you can see them. I have hundreds at home if you ever want to look through them." She also had a few of senshi and youma. That was just because she was a little sneaky and took a photo of herself and the youma's every now and then. It was good income if she needed some. The papers were always willing to take senshi photos.

"It's nice to meet you then Robin. I will have to look up your website. It sounds interesting." She smiled politely not overly sure what to say next. She was already repeating herself!

"Oh, yeah, you've gotta! I've got pictures up from all my investigations, sometimes even video and stuff," Robin replied. "Though you know - I'm always looking for people that'll go with me on things. Like, you heard about the meteorite, right? Well there's some Scientology sites that're saying it's like, made out of something that creates engrams or something, and that it randomly mutates people into horrible, twisted shapes." Her voice had taken on a haunting, teasing quality, while her hands formed monster-claws. But behind it all, of course, was Robin's trademark grin. "Cool, right? So I want to go check it out, but I need to get someone to take pictures for me! What do you think?"

Scientology? Weren't they the people that believed in aliens? Louisa had always dismissed them but as she was doing so she remembered that actually it wasn't as clear cut. After all youmas were like aliens of some sort.

"Sure. I can come and take photos. How far away is it?" Louisa was up for taking photos of anything and even if she was sure it would be nothing there was no harm in looking. Not only that if it was something then really she should go check it out on the off chance Robin did know something and it did carry something dangerous.

"Oh and I would love to see some of your photos at some point!"

"My photos? Oh, God no," Robin laughed, "you really, really don't!" She'd made enough photographer friends over her years of investigation that she knew - photography was not her talent. One particularly candid friend, after looking over the photographs of the Goblin Mausoleum, had remarked to her - Shitty pictures like this is why people keep thinking there are UFOs over Roswell. And in her ensuing butt-hurtedness, she'd gone whining to every friend she had, waving the pictures around and demanding praise - only to be met with either uncomfortable silence or blunt disagreement.

It was sometime around then that Robin had figured out, she was good in front of the camera. But God help her if she had to get behind it.

"Anyway," she giggled, returning to the original subject, "it's not that far away at all. You know the Destiny City Park, right? That's as far as we're going. Want to get going?" The ghosts here could wait, it seemed; Robin was eager to get over to the park, before Louisa changed her mind!

"Oh.. okay." Louisa wasn't sure why she shouldn't look at the photos but she just nodded anyway. She rarely ever told anyone their photos looked bad even if they were a blur of blurness.

"Yeah I know the park." Louisa smiled and wondered whether going right now was a good idea. She had to walk the dogs and do homework and then eat before.... oh why not?

"Sure lets go!" She spoke rather enthusiastically after all she had to learn how to make friends at some point both senshi and human so why not? She could always pick a roof to do homework on tonight if need be, or do it at school tomorrow.

Aha! That was what Robin wanted to hear! If Louisa had agreed in the hopes of making a new friend, she wasn't to be disappointed - for, of course, Robin now knew that they were truly kindred souls. Who else but one with a hunger for exploration and excitement would agree at the drop of a hat to accompany her on an investigation like this, after all?

Just in case, though, there would be no time for second thoughts, no moments to wonder. Now that she had a photographer, after all, she wasn't going to allow a chance for escape. Robin caught a hold of Louisa's enthusiasm (and her arm) and took off running with it - "It's this way, come on!"
