After a bit of a hiatus, I renewed my love for Survivor last season
  Australia is 50 years behind the rest of the world in showing TV shows
  So thank goodness for youtube which has a fantastic array of reality TV uploaded as soon as it's aired
  I am PSYCHED about Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains
  Seriously, I haven't been this excited about a TV show in ages
  It doesn't make much sense, but there you go, reality TV is my guilty pleasure :)

There is something embarrassingly attractive about reality TV. It's like you have the power of invisibility and you don't even have to get out of your seat to use it.

and i have never watched a single episode of any reality tv show!

That's impressive!

I watched an episode of The Biggest Loser a week or so ago, but since I don't watch TV period, I haven't seen a reality show beyond that in a very long time.

The ones that involve some sort of political wrangling against other competitors I tend to dislike.

Don't. It's very easily addictive and it numbs your mind! xd

Some shows are really tacky and have very unlikeable people. Others carry it off a little better. For example, So You Think You Can Dance is pretty genuine, and I think actually helps the contestants get somewhere in their careers. America's Next Top Model on the other hand, doesn't seem like much of a success. I just watch it for the crazy people!
