Kaisho sat down at his desk as he prepared for his first real class. All that was going through his mind was the excitement of teaching a new student. Kaisho leaned his head back, closed his eyes, and placed his hand over his face as he awaited the students arrival.

Kain Gull was already sitting in the classroom when the teacher arrived. With his hands folded neatly out on the desk in front of him, he sat quietly, awaiting the moment the man would realize his subtle presence.

Though it wasn't the teacher's fault that Kain hadn't been noticed.

Since he was young, Kain had always been able to blend in, in plain sight. It was hard for the young teen to make himself known around other people due to this inexplainable ability he had.

Oh how he despised it so.

He sat, contemplating leaving the classroom before he decided to let out one final grunt of hope, to get some recognition from the man sitting behind the desk.

"Ehem..." his voice whispered smoothly and he tilted his pale head curiously to the side. "Sir... am I supposed to learn something in this class?"

Kaisho looked up upon hearing a faint voice, he looked straight at the curiously petite student, "Well hello there, yes you will be learning some very important things in this classroom." Kaisho said with a smile. "You will be learning the basics of the village and be demonstrating your skills to me. First off I would like for your to give me a brief rundown of the village. One sentence of every place that holds importance in the village." Kaisho stood up and began writing on the chalkboard. "When you are done, I will give a description of myself to you and you will present me with your profile."

Kain straightened up when he was spoken to. His face unchanging from his blank stare, but beneath the look was curiosity and mild excitement. Despite his bland expression, he was eager to tell the teacher of what he knew about the village.

"This sounds fun." he gave a small smile and closed his eyes, taking a deep breath he said, "The wilderness is a place you must only go if you want to meet with danger." he opened his eyes and grinned, gaining more confidence to speak up. "And Town square is where the villagers come together to meet new people and explain events that are happening within the village. The main office is where questions are answered as well as suggestions for the good/bad of the village are formed; the Center of Town is where shops and businesses take place, sometimes even small duels among friends and rivals alike, and finally the Command Center is where one would go if they are looking for missions to add a little excitement into their dull, monotonous lives."

He gazed into the teachers eyes and a sudden wave of horror struck him hard in the chest. "I apologize. I should stop there. I do not wish to bore you." his empty stare was back on his face and he awaited to see what the man would tell him to do next, his hands remained folded in front of him.

(( if you'd like me to list them ALL, I'll change my post. I just didn't actually want to bore you. haha. xD ))

Kaisho was a little amused at his students nervous behavior. "You did quite well, I can tell you've explored the village, and no you're not boring me." Kaisho moved away from the board revealing what he had written.

Name: Kaisho Fuuma
Rank: Genin/Teacher
Element: Lightning

Kaisho took in a small breathe as he began to speak once again, "This is only the very basics of my profile, as you can see I'm a lightning release type, now I want you to present your whole profile to me."

Kaisho held out the piece of chalk waiting for his student to come up to the board.

(( I can add to this later, right? ))

Though Kaisho had stated otherwise, Kain was certain that he had bored the man and in regret, looked down at his hands.

He only looked up again when he was passed a piece of chalk. Standing up, he made his way to the blackboard and rose his hand, hovering the chalk over smooth surface of the wall. He hesitated, not walking to feel the scrape of chalk against the board. The scraping sound, the smooth, yet buzzing feeling of it drove him mad.

He knew he had wasted enough of Kaisho's time already and reluctantly placed the chalk lightly against the board. He wrote:

Username: PlunderEclipse
Character Name: Kain Gull
Gender: Male
Rank: Student
Age: 15
Orientation: Straight
Preferred Combat: Long ranged
Weapons: Kunai, Shuriken, and wire
Appearance: Eyes: Deep Brown
Weight: Scrawny
Skin: Pale and veiny
Height: relatively short
Hair: Grey-blue
Date of Birth: January 2nd
Picture: Face like this And with this hair. Clothing is this: User Image
((I'll probably draw him later))

Personality: Kain finds it difficult to socialize with others, especially when they don't realize he is there. Kain is quiet and shows very little emotion; however, it's not that he doesn't want to show emotion, he finds it hard to. Though he may show a blank stare on the outside, below the surface he swims in many different emotions.

One of the more dominant emotions is an overwhelming feeling of giddiness and excitement, another is extreme annoyance. Many things can set him off and break his concentration, especially unpleasant sounds, smells, tastes, and sense of touch.

Although he despises his ability to blend in by disguising his presence in plain sight, he knows how to use it to his advantage and finds himself always doing so, even when it's not necessary.

On a brighter side of things, Kain enjoys observing others around him and thinking up wild fantasies of how he could improve the world, if only he had the right sources of power. He spends much of his time sitting in freshly cut grass and swimming in his pool.

Bio: Kain doesn't know much about his parents, nor do his parents know much about him. Despite living under the same roof for fifteen years, Kain and his mother and father barely know each other, due to their ability to hide their presence unwillingly.

Though he knows they are nice people and probably love him very much, all he ever wishes to do is leaving the house and wander to different places, watching people and wondering about their lives.
As Kain grew up he never liked the fact that he would be a ninja one day and therefore started his training late.

Upon finishing, Kain dropped the chalk instantly and it clattered softly against the ground. He looked up at his teacher and waited silently.

Kaisho placed his hand on the small boys shoulder as he clearly towered over him. "You don't have to worry all the time about what other people think, cause if you do then they will definitely have a negative view of you." Kaisho said as he looked over young Kain's profile.

"Now I want a list of your jutsu, it doesn't matter how many you know or how skilled you are with them, it's your determination to improve that matters."

Kaisho picked up the piece of chalk and placed it on the chalk board.

He nodded, showing the man that he had at least heard what he had said to him. "I know. But this is the way I am. I can't help it." he straightened up as he spoke, suddenly making it his personal goal to be at least at the level of Kaisho's shoulders. To no prevail, he couldn't make his bones grow any longer and he slouched back down to his regular position- staring directly at the man's chest.

"The way I see it, if people wish to have a negative view of someone, you can't do anything to stop them from doing so. They are their own person, with their own thoughts and they will think what they wish." Though he knew there were ways to get people to think differently about someone, he was unaware as to how he would go about doing this.

"Now I want a list of your jutsu." Kaisho said while picking up the fallen piece of chalk.

Kain stared past Kaisho into the far corner of the ceiling behind him. Jutsus? He barely knew two!

He leaned against the blackboard and tried to think of all the jutsus he had learned in the past. He counted with his fingers as he spoke them, "Substitution... and, um... Bunshin..." he looked down at the measly amount of fingers raised. "Er..."

He had never given the time or effort to learn new moves, or abilities. He didn't even want to be a ninja. But he knew it would be for his own good by putting his ability to 'blend in', to some sort of use at the least.

Seems like he would have to start learning some more moves.

What was he good at beside staying quiet? He could make different assortments of masks? ... that wasn't an ability. He enjoyed reading! ... That still wasn't a useful ability.

He shook his head, his face remaining expressionless but his actions showing it all: disappointment.

"I'll have to get better." He mumbled, forcing himself to create a smile- the first expression he had been able to muster in a while.

He would get better. He'd force himself to.

Kaisho looking down at the student as he said the names of only two jutsu's,

"Well that's quite an assortment "
Kaisho said with a smile.

"We'll have to see about teaching you some offensive moves, how about your element? Do you know it?"

Kaisho watched and waited for Kain to speak his element, all the while thinking up basic moves he could teach him.

"My element?" he asked, tilting his head to the side and wandering around to the front desk, as if searching for some sort of answer before the teacher replied to him. "I don't know any lightning or water moves, if that's what you mean?"

With nothing catching his eye that held any partial interest, he looked back up to Kaisho and shrugged.

Perhaps his element was fire. He always liked fire... no, he wasn't associated with fire in any way.

Maybe air? Was air an element?

He really didn't know any of this stuff, did he? Some ninja he would turn out to be...

He shook his head slowly, "I don't know."

Kaisho was astounded at the lack of knowledge his student had towards the ninja arts,

"Well I guess we will have to start from the basics. As you know every ninjas skills revolve around chakra, and each Individual has a dominate element from Earth, Wind, Fire, Water, Lightning and some individual can combine certain elements as a form of kekkei genkai."

Kaisho placed his hand on his chin as he continued to think about what he could say next.

"When it comes to discovering your element, the way I found out was trying to learn basic control and seeing what element I could muster. For me I was able to use my chakra to create electrical charges around my body. Later I found I was slightly adept at on fire style move but other than that I'm lightning all the way. So I guess what I want you to do is sit down and try channeling your chakra to manipulate an element."

With that, Kaisho placed a dish of water, a candle, and soil on the desk that he wanted Kain to sit at.

"The last two elements have to real form so if you are affiliated with one just focus on the air or your inner charge."

((What am I to do with the water, candle and soil? ))

(In naruto, a ninja who doesn't know there element can practice manipulating all the elements with their chakra, if they are affiliated to an element, then they will succeed in manipulating it a little.

(( So sorry for the long delay. It won't happen again, I hope! haha! ))

Kain swallowed, sitting down at the desk and he eyed the three objects closely.
Element eh? Had he ever noticed himself being affiliated with an element?
He closed his eyes and thought hard, his hands clasping together tightly.

Not once.

Without opening his eyes he concentrated his chakra to his hands as best he could without feeling faint, and placed it gingerly over the candle stick.

He opened his eyes and squinted at the waxy item. Nothing happened.
He then turned his attention the dish of water and did the same thing, yet received the same result.

Silence.

Kain began to worry that perhaps he did not have an element. Did every ninja require an element to be affiliated with? He didn't even know how to attempt the air element, not to mention dark or light.

All he had left was the soil: Earth element.

Then without any further delay, he took a deep breath, focused a bundle of chakra in both of his hands and placed them flat against the plate of soil in front of him.

The corner of his mouth twitched under the stress as he forced himself to do something with the dirt. Anything!

He pictured the grass outside, swaying gently in the warm breeze. He let his hand's rise slowly off of the soft soil and realized that as he lifted his hand, a small patch of baby grass was poking out of the dirt.

Did he really just make it grow?
Was that an element? Making things grow?
That was the earth element, wasn't it?

Well, whatever it was, he'd done something...
Kain blinked up at Kaisho and let his hands drop to his side.

He felt fully drained from that little flush of chakra yet oddly satisfied. He'd never done anything of the such before. He'd never even planted a flower, let alone grow grass with a weak sprinkle of charka.

(( Another sorry, this time for the lack of a decent reply. I just have no inspiration right now. sweatdrop ))
