It was the middle of the afternoon rush at the cafe when she arrived, so she went mostly unnoticed. Getting her bearings in the cafe she looked around, smirking slightly when her eyes scanned across a sign that stated that Vlad would not be doing any performances because his Violin was broken. Finally her eyes came to rest on the one she was here for, swiftly walking up behind him she clutched the present tighter before reaching up and tapping him on the shoulder

Vlad wrapped his tail around his leg as to not swing it in a manor that would knock whoever was behind him over. And, as a precautionary measure he brushed his bangs just so to hide any feminine features that may be present in his face before turning around. He wasn't overly use to many people approaching him since the days he played openly on others stages (those were the days of Vicky/Victor, and he had reason to shy away, to not trust).
"Hello," Vlad's voice was barely above a whisper as his ears flattened instinctively. He wasn't use to people approaching him, much less touching him (and that tap nearly felt like a slap). He had a lot at stake, and a lot to protect. But, at the same time he knew that he had to be polite because this was the place he worked so he forced a smile.

Giving a small sad smile at the obvious discomfort that Vlad showed she replied in an equally soft voice, "Hi, I’m Luna. You’re Vlad right?" She asked rhetorically, of course he was Vlad – she wouldn’t have approached if he wasn’t. Without waiting for him to reply she started weaving her story, all of which was complete and utter bullshit. "You’re just like Marie described. The thing is I’m here because Marie often comes here and listens to you play, it’s the bright part of her day, but she told me that recently you broke your Violin and well she’s been so down without being able to come here so I went and got this because I can’t stand to see her sad." She said gesturing to the present she was holding which she quickly pushed into Vlads hands. The story wasn’t technically necessary but she wanted to be sure that Vlad opened it and started the connection to the item, rather than leaving it up to luck.

Vlad felt almost a little bad about how he had reacted. EVERYTHING was completely knew to him again. Especially smells and touch- and on top of everything else there was a fresh opened wound of his mother being dead.
He blinked a couple of times before softening up a tad. He could already see that if he didn't this lady might go on forever in hopes of easing the conversation.
The story was pretty much gibberish to him. He heard so many go on and on about him from a distance that praise was well... taken for granted. But, suddenly his interest was peaked when the package was pushed into his arms. "Thanks," he said because he didn't want to be rude even though he was still leery of strangers and gifts.
He knew that she wouldn't leave until it was opened so he went on ahead and opened it. Cringing slightly as he expected it to explode or do something funny. But, to his surprise nothing happened but a sudden feeling- a tug at his heart. He ran his fingers over the ivy pattern and smiled. "This will do nicely," he nearly cooed. Something very unnatural for him other than in the bedroom...

Ophelia gave a smile that was all teeth as Vlad made the connection, one duty down and one to go. Fishing around in her pocket she pulled out a card that had written on it;
Balcombe Curiosities 3700 Rodell Ave Durem, Gaia W: 509-078-1294 Switch Gear C: 509-078-1147
"It’s lovely isn’t it, the shop I got it from had everything you could ever need – you might want to go there yourself one day." She said whilst holding out the business card. As soon as he had it she was off.

Vlad took note of the woman's toothy grin before glancing at the card. He had only glanced a second before looking up again. All he got to see was her vanishing into the crowd- he didn't get a chance to say anything further (not that he probably would have).
Vlad shrugged his shoulder and gave another look at the violin. After thoroughly looking it over he decided to share the news with his wife and then his brother. Though, for some reason he didn't think he would be able to part with the violin even if for a second.
