I need some help making a lead Floatzel for my water team. Heres what I've come up with so far:
Floatzel@Focus sash Swift swim Jolly nature 252 Spd 252 Atk ----- -Taunt -Waterfall -?????? -??????
The problem is I don't know wether to use Bulk up+Baton pass or Ice punch+Crunch (or any other stratergy you guys can come up with.)

if you have other water types or something with thunder on your team rain dance would fit nicely here (:

I've already got a Kingdra and Ludicolo that can set up Rain dance and I don't have a pokemon that can use thunder. (If only there was another pokemon apart from Kyogre that has the drizzle ability, that would solve all my lead problems.)

The main problem I see with Floatzel running lead is it's inability to counter against Gyarados and as such, there really isn't much to be gained by Floatzel running lead aside from being an Anti-lead to stop others from setting up SR (and the dreaded Breloom/Spore lead) but such things are mainly only doable in UU more so than OU as the need to run Ice Punch in UU isn't as great. Also to mention, if any other lead is running Thunderbolt, your Floatzel is best retreating instead of standing it's ground and fighting despite toting a Focas Sash.
Bulk Up + Baton Pass seems to mainly only work in conjunction with Substitute, so pretty much Ice Punch/Aqua Jet + Crunch is really your best bet since your set on Waterfall (Floatzel's best main attack) and Taunt (for anti-lead-ability). I suggest Aqua Jet mainly for the ability to beat Lead Ambipom, which downright can be a speed demon and really mess up your Floatzel if it leads out with STAB'd Technician Fake Out and in general helps you kamikaze out at least one attack if your Floatzel does happen to get cornered by an impending Thunderbolt, but Ice Punch counters popular leads such as Breloom, Yanmega, Crobat, Hippowdon and Salamence. Crunch is obviously there to counter the infamous Gengar.
