 It had been several long weeks, all spent alone. It had been different from leaving Mecho and her siblings, that had had a purpose. A purpose to find her mother. Rondel hadn't meant to get separated from Melody...it had just sort of happened. She'd wandered a little to far into the woods hunting for berries for her mother and then...she was lost, and by the time she'd finally made her way back to where she'd left Melody, she'd been gone, probably worried and hunting for her lost Little Bell.
"I'm sorry, Momma...I'm sorry!" Rondel stopped and looked down at feet breaking into tears. "Momma!" she yelled hoping somehow Melody would find her and rescue her lost little filly.

The little foal's ears perked up at the sound of another's voice. It sounded musical, but sad. A lot like his mother's when something was horribly wrong or whenever he ran off.
"Momma..? Momma?" He questioned, tilting his head back and forth, listening intently. "Momma....they're lost!" He whinnied a little bit toward the other voice, buzzing his wings in the process before completely running off to track down the source.

Rondel's head snapped up as she heard someone crashing through the underbrush nearby. She pranced a bit, bells sending up unmelodic chorus of chimes, eyes rolling as she prepared to find an escape route should it turn out to be her worse nightmare, a wolf or a Kalona.
Rondel screeched unable to help herself and darted headlong into a thicket crashing nearly headlong with the green colt. She stood there dazed blinking her eyes as she slowly realized this was who she'd heard crashing through the foliage. She shook her head and winced at the pain. "Are...are you..." she took a deep breath and tried again. "Are you okay?"

He paused a moment upon hearing the bells chime, only to continue on in glee. He loved the musical sound. There was something about the melodic nature that reminded him of his own mother. He continued on, determined to get there when something or someone crashed into him.
Crescendo fell backwards, landing roughly and looking back toward the golden colored filly before him. Each of her bells sparkled slightly in the little bit of light coming through the trees and brush. Buzzing his wings again and getting up, the little green colt moved forward to inspect the bells carefully. Bumping one, he whinnied in approval. These were making that beautiful melodic noise! He then turned his attention up to get a better look at the one they belonged to.
"Hello~ I'm okay, are you okay, cus I'm okay. I hope you're okay. Are you lost? Someone was calling for momma and I thought they meant my momma but I don't know where she is right now either so it must have been your momma! Hi. ....I'm Crescendo."

Rondel watched curiously as the colt studied the bells on her harness. Her attention was then likewise drawn to the little wings on his back. She giggled softly as he buzzed them, and leaned in close to study them, but was careful not to touch them as they looked delicate.
She blinked and stepped back as well once the other began his long breathless string of questions. She couldn't help but think of herself around someone new and smiled at him. "My name is Rondel Forte Amachi, but you can call me Rondel. No one calls me my whole name...unless I suppose they were mad at me, that might be a good reason, but I don't think I've had anyone that mad at me." she paused her smile fading and ears drooping. "And yes...I am lost...I got separated from my Momma a few weeks ago...I don't know where she is." Rondel sniffed and scuffed a hoof. "She probably thinks her little bell is dead..."

"Well I know her little bell isn't dead cus her little bell is here! Talking to me! Crescendo~ Why are you all the way in the forest? Others don't usually come this deep into the forest that look like you. And sound like you. And have wonderful little things like you!" He bubbled out, nudging at her bells again to make them ring. His little wings buzzed once more, trying to match up with the rhythm of the bell ringing but not quite coming out right.
He smiled again, tilting his head to look up at her from a different angle. "You're like an....an...I dunno...fairy? Very pretty. Veryvery. Ororor...Angeni! Very pretty like an angeni! I've only heard stories, but momma says they're pretty! Very pretty like you!"

Rondel couldn't help but feel her mood brighten in talking with the other foal. She smiled back at him, "Oh, I got lost in the woods looking for berries that the Voodoo Lady showed me. I was going to take them to my momma as a present, but I got all turned around and ended up meeting a Cerynei, and he was really big, and had huge antlers! I never saw anyone like him before!" Rondel exclaimed her eyes going huge.
She watched him again gently nudged causing her bells to ring again. "You've never seen a bell before? My entire family has them." she said watching his wings buzz nearly in time with the chimes. "You have a good sense of rhythm." she said nodding in approval.
She paused and blushed bright red all over her body as he complimented her. "Ah, well...I dunno about that...I mean...Angeni have wings and everything and I'm just...me." she said frisking a bit sending up a surprisingly melodic chorus from her bells.

"Hugeeeee. Cerynei are always big! Alwaysalways momma says! I never seen one though...nevernever." He said, prancing around her happily, enjoying the sound of the bells again.
"Never seen one nope! Beautiful sound! You're like momma. You love music. I do too. Cus momma likes music, I like music, so you must be like momma cus you like music, but you don't look like momma..." He sucked in another breath and nudged the bells again happily, enjoying playing with them. "I wish I had a bell. It would be nice to have bells too, but I don't have bells only wings. See my wings? They're gonna be big like momma's someday!" He finished, buzzing them again and getting much closer to her to see.

"My entire family loves music. Momma, Papa, my brother and sister. We're all very musical." she said. "If we were all together, we'd be our own symphony of bells~" she giggled at the thought then had her attention instantly drawn to his wings again. "Oh, I saw them!" she said sightly breathlessly. "Never seen anything like them, ever. They're so pretty, and they remind me of..." she paused and thought. "Like light through a drop of water." she said. "When it makes sparkles of rainbows all over the ground. Its so beautiful~" she smiled and giggled again. "Will you be able to fly when they get big? Can your momma fly? I wonder what its like to fly..." she said getting lost in thought for a moment.
She then looked back at him and grinned. "I never met anyone who could talk as much as me, Its fun~" she giggled.

He grinned back at her, buzzing his wings in absolute glee. "You think they're pretty? I think they are too. Just like momma's! I dunno if she can fly...I never saw her fly before. But she moves around just as fast as me! It's amazing! So fast! Zoom!" He sputtered out a few noises then grinned again.
"I like you."

Rondel nodded. "I heard you from a long way off, so you had to be coming really fast considering that we ran into each other so soon." she said with a smile. "Must be amazing to move like that." she tossed her head letting the bell in her mane chime again.
She blinked and instantly blushed again. "I...I like you too." she said. She shuffled then looked over at him. "Wanna play a game?" she asked eagerly wanting to do more than just stand around with her new friend.

"Mhm, I'm realllllly fast. I don't even have to try!" At the mention of a game his eyes practically lit up. He had never had anyone else offer to play a game with him before. He usually had to initialize it from them.
"A game? What kind of game? I like games. Does it involve exploring? Tricks? Jokes? Leaving the forest? Ohhh tell me!"

Rondel giggled then tilted her head as she thought. "Why don't we..." she suddenly looked back at him as she thought of the perfect thing. "Why don't we play tag~" she said. "You can show me how fast you are, and my bells will chime when I run~" she said with a giggle. It seemed the prefect way for each of the foals to show off what was special about the other.

Crescendo smiled brightly again, bounding around her in glee. "That sounds like fun! Let's do that!" He blurted out, nudging into her to send her running. "Tag! You're it! ....wait...no...you run. You go first. 'Kay? 'Kay!" He whinnied happily, nudging her again.
"Runrun! Gotta run! Gotta go faster!"

Rondel squeaked a bit as she was suddenly nudged by Crescendo. She grinned spinning around to quickly lick him on the face before dashing off in another direction her bells jingling wildly. She ducked her head and put on all the speed she could manage, figuring that the colt would easily catch up with her.
She glanced behind her to check on his progress before turning to notice a fallen log just off to her right, she quickly banked then bunched her hind legs under herself and launched herself allowing her to sail over the log before darting off again.
"Beat that~" she called back to him playfully.
