Wingu walking about with his head tipped up towards the sky. This was how he went about at most times, paying more attention to the sky than what was in front of him. His mother had tried countless times to get him to pay attention to his surroundings but Wingu couldn't help that he was so fascinated by the clouds and the birds flying above. Some days he imagined he was one of those birds.
Like what was happening right now. A bird flew over head and he immediately imagined that he was that bird. Quickening his pace he raced across the Savannah, eyes glued to the bird. He believed that he was flying much like the bird was, and all too soon he was. Well for a moment at least until he came crashing down again. "Oof!" He coughed a bit after he slide to a stop. He had been so busy watching the bird that he hadn't noticed the rock in his path. Tripping over it had send him flying, only to land hard on the ground. He sat up, giving his fur a shake. Dang, the bird was long gone now.

Arr was normally a misunderstood cub. Most of the time anyway. She talked in the third person and because of that she got picked on a lot, and if it wasn't that then she was over looked or ignored. She frustrated her father some times and she knew that she wasn't perfect. However she didn't care. she made him happy other times! On top that she was almost always happy, that was all that mattered to her.
And she was happy right now too! She was wandering away from her father for a little bit, him and her sisters were sleeping but she just couldn't settle herself down to sleep for any bit of time at the moment. As she was sitting back on her haunches trying to figure out what she was going to do with herself she heard something coming her way, she noticed a cub standing up. Where did he come from? She grinned ear to ear as her curiosity got the best of her she had to see what this other cub was up to. She grinned ear to ear as she walked up to him. "Arr wants to know what brown cub is up to." she poked his nose with her paw before giggling.

His eyes fell upon the other cub and he smiled sheepishly. Wingu hadn't really expected to run into anyone else. Especially not after that little embarrassing fall he just had. Oh well, he thought, it was his own fault for not paying attention anyways. "I was following a bird." He told the cub as he glanced back up at the sky. Well that bird was long gone now, but maybe, just maybe he could talk to this female without getting distracted by the clouds.
"I'm Wingu." He introduced himself as his eyes slowly, very slowly returned to the cub. He couldn't help it that he found the sky more fascinating that anything else. But he would at least try to talk to her without getting overly distracted. "What's your name?"

Arr giggled slightly as she looked up at the sky, flicking her hair out of her eyes and nodding. "Arr likes birds too!" She giggled a few times then sat back on her haunches nodding. "Birds are fun to watch." She nodded toward the male before giglging a bit as he said his name. "Arritixa." She said simply before pawing at the other cub and bumping into him gently. She really loved to make friends with everyone. "Call Arritixa Arr. Everyone does." she said blissfully before nodding at him. "Wingu want to play?"

"Arr." He repeated her name more for his own benefit of remembering it than anything else. Wingu's smile grew as she bumped him playfully. Oh he loved to play and usually only had his siblings to play with so this could prove to be fun. "Yes, let's play!" He said enthusiastically, tail twitched playfully. "What you want to play?" There was really only one game he knew well, and that was playing rough with his brother. He wasn't sure if this female would want to rough house or play something else. But he would do just about anything at this point.

It would be hard to forget Arr's name with how much she said it. Since she talked in the third person anyone that she walked to was bound to hear it many, many times. It was something that her siblings got used to hearing, she id it so much they just learned to get used to it and it was something that they learned to ignore. she flicked her tail around a few times before grinning at the other cub. "Wingu really wants to play?" She giggled before bounding up on her paws a few times and looking at the other cub pawing at him. "What does Wingu want to play?" she asked curiously.

He nodded his head slowly, careful to not raise it too high or else he would see the sky again and forget all about this other cub. Her question made him think. What did he want to play? Would she be up for a game of rough housing? Or was there something else they could do? He pursed his lips in thought and a furrow formed in his brow. "Hmmm." He huffed a bit as he thought. What to play, what to play. Hide and seek maybe? No, that would let his get distracted from the game. Oh what about tag! Tag was always fun to play and generally kept his attention well.
"Tag!" He shouted out suddenly and then clamped his mouth shut. Wingu hadn't meant to yell out like that, but the idea of tag was just so exciting. "Wanna play tag?" He asked her, his voice calmer now. If she didn't well that was fine, he could think of something else.

Arr looked at the male she was very, very glad to see that this male wasn't making fun of her because of the way she talked, she knew that some times her sister, her father, her brother and even her mother got mad at the way she talked some times but to tell the truth she couldn't help it. She knew for a fact that it was annoying at times but it was something that she couldn't stop doing, something that she couldn't help.
She flicked her hair out of her eyes before giggling as he tagged her, she loved playing tag, sure some times to her tag was over played but one thing for sure it was always fun! She giggled before nodding toward him the idea of playing tag was a great idea for her. "Sure!" She giggled as she reached out her paw. "TAG!" She giggled again and then turned around and quickly turned the other way starting to run before looking back as if to make sure that she was following her.

Wingu let out a laugh as she reached out to tag him. Oh this was so exciting, he hadn't played tag in a while. His siblings usually didn't want to play tag with him because he got too easily distracted. As she ran away he took off after her. Mentally he kept telling himself over and over again, don't look at the sky, you're playing a game, don't look at the sky. It seemed to be working for the time being as he focused on her retreating form. My she was fast. "I'm gonna get you!" He called out as he chased after her, she may be a bit faster than he was but he was determined to get her, so in the end he hoped that would make him victorious in this game.

Arr looked back realizing that where was a interesting gap between her and the other cub. She flicked her tail around glancing back at him before giggling as she did. She pushed herself a little more, she hadn't played tag with her siblings. When she could play with other lions she enjoyed it.

Her giggles made her focus more on her. Which was a good thing because there was a bird that just took off from a nearby tree. And in that moment of thought Wingu took his eyes off his 'prey' and glanced skyward. Instantly he regretted that as his paw caught on another rock and he went tumbling to the ground again. "Whoa!" But he was determined once more to catch her and quickly got to his paws.
Ah there she was, up ahead. With his new determination he burst off towards her again. Somehow he was managing to slowly catch up to her. Head lowered her focused once more on her back feet, they were the furthest things from the sky so it was a good place to look. His legs carried his quickly towards the other cub, he would be up to her very soon. "You better run faster!" He said with a laugh as he closed the gap just a bit more on her.

Arr stopped for a moment as she head a 'whoa'. She couldn't help it, she was curious on what was going on behind her. She was turned around quickly to see what was going on. She was worried for a moment when she saw him on the ground. But giggled when she watched him get back up. She squeaked before she took off again giggling as she did..
She looked back as she noticed the cub getting closer to her, she squeaked before shaking her head. "You can't catch Arr!" She giggled as she glanced around trying to figure out how she was going to avoid getting caught by the other cub. She started to run toward a tree not that far off mabye she could climb it!

When she started to head for the tree Wingu wondered just what she was up to. Did she expect to escape him by climbing it? Well if she did then she would certainly earn his respect as doing so would put her closer to the clouds. This distracting thought was just enough to make his pace faulter and once again the female cub was a good distance ahead of him before he raced after her again.
"You think wrong! I will catch you!" He called out to her once his attention was fully back to his task at hand. He could watch the clouds any other time, right now he was having almost too much fun to think about laying down and watching the big puffy clouds float over head.

Arr giggled as she started to dig her claws into the tree first testing it out before looking back at the male to see where he was. "Nu-uh!" She laughed before she started to pull herself up determined on getting up the tree. She wasn't the best at that she already figured that much out however she wanted to get up it! She was going to teach herself how to do it. So far she wasn't doing that bad. She dug her claws into the tree as she pulled herself up on the tree and up on the lowest thick branch, it wasn't that high up if he was an adult lion he could reach her. She looked down at him before giggling. "Told you!"
