An isolated room, featuring no windows and only one door which serves as both entrance and exit. The throne lies in the center of the square room, simple in design and architecture, with as little design as possible. The four walls surrounding the throne each hold four torches, save for the wall that houses the entrance which only holds two torches. The room in its entirety is made of stone, and leveled evenly.

It is, to say the least, a hall of solitude and simplicity, a testament to the beauty of the earth even in this modern day and age. The guards stationed at the front of the entrance speak the truth when they say that the hall is dead silent when there are no guests. The Earth Lord has been known to keep himself isolated here when important matters are to be discussed or thought over, the melancholic silence must stimulate the mind.

Gansaku and Shinozuno rode on their horses, moving rapidly towards the lair of the Earth Lord. As they approached his castle, the guards let them in with little resistance. Four rather large guards escorted them through what seemed to be a labyrinth. They walked for what felt like hours until the got to Lord Aarde's chambers. Gansaku turned to Shinozuno and told him to wait outside so he could speak privately to the Earth Lord. The High Priest knocked on the large stone door and waited patiently for Shiro to open the door.

Inside his throne room, the Earth Lord, Shiro Aarde sat in meditation. A deep silence was present in the room, not even the sound of his breath was to be heard as the Earth Lord connected with the spiritual world.

'It seems you have a visitor' a voice rang inside his head, rousing him from his sleep and temporarily cutting his link from the spiritual world.

Combing his hair back, Shiro spoke across the room. "Enter." he said, his voice resonating throughout the hall's entirety. He flexed his arms and held them in front of him, making himself look regal, in some way or another. He did this as he waited for his guest to enter the room.

Gansaku walked into the throne room of the Earth Lord, wearing his signature blue and white priest garbs while holding is pearl white staff in his left hand. He observed the room carefully as well as the man before him. Gansaku looked towards him with an unreadable countenance, "Lord Shiro Aarde of the Earth Empire, I've come to discuss important matters with you. I'm sure that you are well aware of the situation involving the missing Sword of Eden. You should also know that Faia Nenshou Hime and Jinsoku Fuzen are the prime suspects for the sword's disappearance. They, as well as a sky pirate named Asura, have been marked as enemies of the Church. I ask you now Shiro," a dark silence swept over the room as the High Priest squeezed his staff firmly while looking into Shiro's eyes. The weight of his power added a large amount of density to the atmosphere as he took a pause in his sentence. "where do your alliances lay?"

Shiro let a short silence fall as he thought over Gansaku's words. Jinsoku Fuzen has been labeled an enemy of the Church, this was his time to strike and carry out his plan. He cupped his mouth and chin with his right hand, stroking his chin before making a reply "The Fire Empire, the Dark Empire and a pirate force have joined forces against the Church. You need not ask where my alliance lies, O priest. The Earth Empire is a good and virtuous nation, that strives to uphold the balance in this world, and as its lord I am obliged to live by its virtues. However--" he paused, removing his hand from his chin and leaning forward a bit more. "May I ask, who are the others who have decided to ally themselves with the Church? The armies of my empire are durable men and women, yet I doubt even they can stand to the might of the traitors... not alone at least."

Gansaku was pleased by Shiro's answer. The fact that he was a strong believer in the principles of Eden would make him a reliable ally. Gansaku watched him carefully while analyzing the look in his eyes. He seen a slight glimmer of anxiety when he mentioned Jinsoku Fuzen's name. He figured that the Dark Lord must have wronged Shiro at one point. The details were not necessary for the High Priest, all he needed to know was the Shiro wanted Jinsoku dead. "At this moment, only I, Shinozuno and you, are on the side of righteousness. I have yet to speak with the lords of light and ice but I'm sure they will see eye to eye with us as well."

"Hmm... I have yet to become acquainted with the other lords, my overseeing of the Earth Empire's progress has left me a stranger in the world of politics." Shiro commented as he patted his legs, waking them up from his prolonged time sitting in meditation. "Would it bother you then, if I accompanied you on your visit to their realms?" he spoke extending a hand to the High Priest "My councilors can take care of matters in my empire. And it would do me good to see the faces of our soon to be allies in this war."

The High Priest nodded as he thought about the request of Earth Lord. With Shinozuno and Shiro on his side he really had no need for the other lords but having them on his side wouldn't do anything but help. Gansaku walked over to Shiro and placed his hand on his shoulder, "My child, you are a wise young man. If you wish to accompany me I don't mind letting you. Let it be known that the road you travel is a righteous one. Although you are a follower of Shinpou's Bourei and I, a follower of the Principles of Eden, I know that our stars have been intertwined for this very day and for this very moment in time. You will get your battle with Jinsoku Fuzen and your Empire shall prosper in its future endevours. Will shall go now. For we do not have much time left to begin preparations." The priest released his hand from Shiro's shoulder as he began his walk out of the large Earth Empire, Shiro and Shinozuno behind him. Deciding to take it the old-fashioned route, they all mounted horses and began their adventure to the Light Empire.

((Enter Izuru Shinzui))

Izuru rode towards the familiar Earth Empire in his large brown one seated sandrunner. Surprisingly the hovering car managed to kick up a lot of dust as Izuru pressed heavily on the gas pedal. He leaned back in the soft beige satin interior of his vehicle as he speed towards the gates of the empire with one hand on the wood-grain wheel. His googles sheilding him from much of the dust and debris as the scarf he was wearing danced and shook in the wind caused by the high speed of the sandrunner. Izuru hit the brakes smoothly as he came to closer to the guards of the gates. He looked to his left and right to see two other warriors piloting sandrunners. He knew he could have brought more along with him but he also knew that theses warriors were also prisoners of the Desert Militia and too many of them together could cause a riot amongst them. Izuru could not let their be any chances for slip ups on a mission of this caliber.

They all braked their sand runners and parked in front of the Empire. They knew that Lord Aarde was gone and that blocking his path may be the only immediate way of gathering his attention without shedding blood so they waited. Along with Izuru were two skilled level bandits and two elite level vampires. Vampires were rare and of high price on the market. He didn't care much for the bandits as long as the vampires were alright. This is the time to prove what you stand for Mr. Lord Shiro.

"Seems like there are some interesting people ahead of you Shiro." rang the spirit's voice inside Shiro's head. "Two of them are humans, the other two are something much more... malevolent."

Heading the spirit's words, Shiro bid the High Priest and Shinozuno to pause for a moment. "A moment, High Priest. Seems like there are some obstacles in our path." Shiro looked at the silhouettes of the men, then activated his Spirit Eyes. 'The two's auras are indeed dark. But they're nothing compared to Jinsoku's. No worries spirit.'

"Hmph. Don't be arrogant Shiro." spoke the spirit. "A shadow is a shadow no matter how dark it is. Besides--" the spirit's voice trailed off for a bit "You seem to have forgotten about the other two men."

(I'm assuming Izuru's group is blocking the High Priest's path. Please correct me if I'm wrong.)

Dagger ordered his group to stay behind him as he approached the Earth Lord with an unreadable smile. His boots kicked up clouds of dirt as he walked towards the man maintaining a piercing eye contact. When he got close to the lord he paused about two feet in front of him. Along the way Izuru wondered how he would feel once coming face to face with this man. He pondered whether he would want to strike him instantaneously or shake his hand. Even now while standing in front of him he was unsure of what exactly he should do. He felt an eerie presence around the lord. It felt like the presence of a spirit of some sort. Dagger looked deep into the eyes of what could soon be his adversary but still could not read much about him. Figuring that the only way to know what to do about him was speak, Izuru spoke out to him. "Lord Shiro Aarde righ? How the ******** are ya? I jus got one question and one question only. Do ya trust the High Priest?"

Shiro's eyes blinked slowly as Dagger approached him, his vision switching back from the physical to the spiritual world. He saw no disturbances about him, at least in the spiritual plane. As soon as Dagger came within striking range he ceased his eyes to blink and waited for the man to make a move, noticing that he was observing him made the Earth lord wonder if he had picked up on his spirit companion's presence. Then, the man spoke, the question he asked was immediately given a reply "I do, why do you ask." he asked growing interested in what the man had to say.

Dagger smirked as he looked at the Earth Lord. When he answered the way he expected he knew that only one thing was left for him to do. He looked into Shiro's eyes and knew what he had to do. They information that Dagger withheld would shake and tear apart
Shiro's world if he had enough sense to listen to him. He begun to speak, "The High Priest is corrupt. The stories of the past are fake and the Principles of Eden have been twisted and ******** around so much that it is nothing like the original teachings. The story of Gansaku killing his 'evil' brother Junsei was falisfied. It was really Gansaku who wanted to use the power of the sword to take over the world and not Junsei. When translated from the ancient language, Gansaku means fake and Junsei means pure. He killed his brother and made up the whole story. He thought he could get away with it too
since he assumed there were no witnesses. He was wrong."
Dagger looked into the Lord's eyes and looked into the eyes of the spirit. He was thinking that if these two did not believe him then he would definitely be facing a battle. He could not afford to fight with the Earth Lord right now. Not when the world was in critical danger and everyone was playing right into the hands of the priest. This wicked man who wanted nothing more then absolute power. He seeked the unseekable and dreamed the undreamable. It was time to provide his evidence. He pulled out a rock that seemed slightly aged. "The Earth itself played the role of witness. You should know that a small pebble can tell over a million stories of what it has seen. The previous Earth Lord knew this as well. He knew of the treachary of the High Priest. That is why he was killed and the location of the battle is never told. I hold in my hand probably one of the only links to that battle. Take it and listen to the story that you are told and you'll see my words for truth. Dagger patiently awaited his reaction. Hoping that he would do the sagacious thing and take hold of the rock.

Shiro looked into the man's eyes, trying to discern whether or not his tale was true or not. He found no indication of him telling a lie, but noting to indicate he was telling the truth either. He looked at the rock for a moment, hesitating for a moment. Was it because he was unwilling to accept the so-called truth behind the High Priest, or was it simply because of his own personal reasons?
"Take it." spoke the spirit, making its presence felt. "The truth must always prevail, whether it be for the better or for the worst." it paused for a moment as well, waiting for Shiro's response. "Kajime." spoke the spirit, invoking Shiro's former name to fully catch Shiro's attention. "This will most likely interfere with your vendetta against Jinsoku. However, as the Earth Lord, it is your duty to see the truth."
Kajime closed his eyes, finally agreeing with the spirit. "If what you say is false, I will personally see to it that you pay for your accusations." he said extending his hand to hold the rock. "However, if what you say is true, then I thank you for sharing this." he then grabbed the rock and held it tightly, slowly closing his eyes and entering a meditative state.
