Chinedu had been nervous around Kaimel ever since he talked with his sister.To know there was another male lion with his preferences... well it made him both excited and nervous. He'd been banned form his pride for it. Now he had found one that didn't mind. It seemed like the perfect place.
And their breeding plan. It worked more the he could imagine. He loved cubs. He wanted some of his own but the idea of a female. It made him feel strange but if it were for the cause. He did like Kai. A lot. Nervous as he was he needed to make a move either way.. To know if the other was interested in him.
He spent the entire day out on the savvanah. Flowers rarely bloomed there at lest they were few and far between in the tall grasses but he'd spent the day working on it. The result was a brightly colored array of flowers.
Walking toward Kaimel he began to flush nervously but he had worked up the nerve to get this far. His maw full flowers he cleared his throat behind him.
Kitsune Mistress Nyoko:
It had been a long, tiring day for Kaimel. Between his training with Miss Moto as the new Chache'mwezi and making sure his herb stores were kept filled, he was inching close to exhaustion. It was days like these that he thanked all the Gods listening for Torame's companionship. The young Serval had been nothing but helpful to him since her arrival in the Mwako, and he could always trust her to have his back.
Of course, even if he was tired, he was still careful to remain aware of his surroundings. His ears swiveled at the sound of Chinedu clearing his throat, and he quickly turned his head to give the other lion a smile. He'd never admit it out loud, but he'd grown rather fond of the Asikari ever since his arrival in the pride. But the sight of the flowers in the other's jaws was slightly confusing, and he couldn't help his slightly bewildered look.
Randy2love:
Taking a deep breath the other smiles back. "You've been training hard..." He says after a moment though its muffled with the flowers in his maw. He trots forward and lays the flowers down at his feet, his pale face red. "I Thought you... might like them. I ah... caught an impla earlier this morning...and I was wondering if you'd like some."
Kitsune Mistress Nyoko:
"That sounds great. I haven't had a chance to eat yet," Kaimel said, giving Chinedu a nervously smile and absently taking the flowers. After a long moment, he grinned and shifting to tuck a few into his mane. It may not have been the most attractive arrangement ever, but it was a good place to keep them. And the rest would be fine laying just inside the entrance to his den.

Chinedu blushed deeper pleased to see the other accept his gift. He certainly couldln't eat them but he though he would like them. He motioned his head and started off. "This way...I left it in a safe place."
Kitsune Mistress Nyoko:
"I sure hope so. There are a lot of hungry animals in this area," Kaimel joked, grinning and getting to his paws with a quick stretch. He wouldn't deny that impala sounded great right now, and he hadn't had any in a long time.
Randy2love:
"Oh I learned a lot about hiding food from the dogs in our pride." Forcing himself to breath in and out the warrior turned shy guy glanced to the male beside him. "So ah... I've really enjoyed my time in the pride. I think I will talk to the leader about staying and taking place in it." He swallowed and began to trapse through the trees. "So I ah... met your sister."
Kitsune Mistress Nyoko:
"You met Mel? I'm sorry I didn't introduce you to her earlier," Kaimel said softly, turning to grin towards Chinedu. It was nice, talking to him.
Randy2love:
"Its fine! You've been busy." He answers waving it off with a flick of his ear. "I understand... but she is very nice. She told me about a few things..." He responds brushing through the grass and ending up in a small clearing. His meal is burried under large leaves and he moves them to reveal the rather large catch. Its untouched except for the gouge in its neck. He takes a step back to sumbit the other male to eat first.
Kitsune Mistress Nyoko:
"A few things like what?" Kaimel asked absently, glancing towards Chinedu even as he stepped forward to take a bite out of the flank of the impala. After a moment he turned to look at the other lion, a silent invitation.
Randy2love:
"...this and that about the pride and about you." He accepted the invitation and joined him in eating the kill. He shifted his weight nervously. "She told me of your preferences. Its not any of my buisness but do you really prefer males?"
Kitsune Mistress Nyoko:
"I do. Me and Mel both figured out our preferences really young. I've always liked boys and she's always liked girls," Kaimel said absently, shrugging and trying to ignore the way his face was heating up beneath his fur.
Randy2love:
Chinedu busied himself by eating a chunk of the meat, tugging off a leg for himself. Finallly the warrior looked up. "I... figured mine out...and they kicked me out of the pride. I didn't belong there."
Kitsune Mistress Nyoko:
"To kick someone out just because..." Kaimel paused, frowning and tearing off a chunk of meat. For a long moment, he was silent, focusing on swallowing the mouthful. "That's just wrong. It's not like I can just suddenly stop liking guys, or like I chose to. I just do."
Randy2love:
Chinendu looked away and puts his ears down and sighed. "I know... its the same way for me. I can't stop liking you--..." He flushed deeply. "er boys... but my pride didn't agree. I had to go. But its alright... I wanted to see what more there was. I didn't like moving around all the time."
Kitsune Mistress Nyoko:
"Still... A pride shouldn't be so against personal preference that they'd exile a member because of it," Kaimel sighed, doing his best to pretend he hadn't heard that slip. Oh, he'd certainly entertained the idea of being with Chinedu... But he didn't want to embarass the other lion.
Randy2love:
"Its complicated..." He responded and kept looking else where. Its obvious that it hurt him. He glances back trying to change the subject. "She told me of your breeding idea too..." He mentions quietly.
Kitsune Mistress Nyoko:
"It wasn't just my idea," Kaimel said absently, glancing towards Chinedu shyly and taking a rather keen interest in the meat still before him.
Randy2love:
"Well... either way... I think its a great idea. To be honest, I wasn't sure how I might have cubs. I do love them." He says sinking down next to the carcass. "I want to help your pride rear cubs to help you defend against the demons."
Kitsune Mistress Nyoko:
"It won't be easy, but if you're sure... I'd like to have you hear, and I know Miss Moto would say the same," Kaimel replied softly, turning to give Chinedu a smile.
Randy2love:
The male nodded and smiled back, catching Kaimel's eyes. He flushed and dug at the ground with his claws, pushing them in and out. "I... I wanted to know if... Er... That is... I would be willing to help you and your sister..."
Kitsune Mistress Nyoko:
"Help us... How, exactly?" Kaimel asked, trying to ignore the way his heart was fluttering in his chest. He didn't dare hope, didn't dare dream for Chinedu to be trying to say what he thought...
Randy2love:
"That is..." He drew out his words carefully, "er... If I could... offer my services. I would be happy too. I know you would be a great father but ah... I guess the need another parent, don't they?" He questions curiously.
Kitsune Mistress Nyoko:

Creeping forward toward Kaimel the brown maned lion flicked his tail. "... I could be of some service." He offers his pink eyes glimmering. "If... you wanted me to that is."
Kitsune Mistress Nyoko:
Kaimel swore his heart skipped a beat at that second, and he did his best to play it cool. "I think that would be nice," he said absently, casually flicking his tail over to rest it on Chinedu's.
Randy2love:
The male flinched at the touch surprised by it then nodded his head. "... Then I will do it. Let your sister know." He said putting his head down on Kaimel's paws.
Kitsune Mistress Nyoko:
"I can let her know later," Kaimel said absently, grinning and leaning down to give Chinedu an affectionate lick on the forehead. His heart was pounding in his chest and it took all his willpower not to just grin. He'd finally the future star to his future moon...
Randy2love:
Chinedu blinked and looked up at the lick. It was slow but his confusion turned into a smile and he pressed himself closer to the other. He'd had someone who wouldn't judge him and would help him acheive everything he wanted.
