As The Title Says Just Post What Your Favorite Ability/Spell is.
My Top Three Favorite Spells Are; Firaga, Thundaga, and Ultima.
My Top Three Favorite Abilities Are; Cross Slash, Free Energy, and Climhazzard.

My favorite spell has to be, hands down, scan. Weird I know, but you don't know how many times it's saved my butt. I'm also one of those people who like to know how much longer before a baddie dies and then change my strategy based on it.
Ability-wise, I have no idea. I haven't been real up to date on abilities (meaning I can't remenber any at the moment), so I'll have to get back to you on that.

All the -na spells
I don't remember many abilities, not to mention I haven't even played all the games WITH abilities...
Abilities:
Omnislash (Limits count as Abilities, right?)
Spirial Cut
Jecht's Shot
Oh, and if you don't know what I'm talking about when I say -na spells, I mean the spells that heal status effects.

My top spells would be:
Curaga(huge HP restore spell)
Auto-Life(get K.O. and be revived automatically)
Ultima(non-elemental damge)
Flare(non-elemental damage)
Hastega(with quick hit)
My top abilities are:
Libra(scan, but as an ability)
Quick Hit(with hastega it's epic)
Steal(get awesome items from baddies)

Probably Auto-life, Curaga, and reflect were most helpful for me. In terms of best offensive, I have to say a summon like Bahamut (all forms) or Phoenix (especially in IX, auto-life when the party fails is the greatest skill ever).
Also Scathe is possibly one of the coolest abilities in FFXII, no questions asked.
Abilities? Zidane's Flee; I can't enough good things about it, since the gil loss is negligible. Long have I tired of getting repeatedly stabbed in the back while attempting to escape.
And 2X cut (4X cut too, but is too long), for more than 9999 in one (two?) attacks.

Mug/Steal (preferably mug)
Slot (Selphie's limit break, and to be even more specific, if I had to choose a top 3 of those, Full Cure, Aura, and maybe Wall).
Attack (XD. I like the traditional attacking.)

Choco/Mog or whatever from FF7... heck, all the FF7 summon sequences were cool
Elpe from FFTA2, even though only Adelle can cast it, it is srsly broken since it not only heals everyone, but if you haven't broken the law in the stage yet, you revive anyone who is K.Oed. Even though this K.Oes Adelle, you can just revive her.
And Thundraga from 13

(-ja spells are maximum level spells: firaja, blizzaja, thundaja, curaja, etc.)
