What is your full (gaia) name? Rabid Ice Weasel
Do you go by any nicknames? Or shortened versions? Rabby, sometimes.
What would you name the buck if you won? Weary Traveler
Why would you pick that name? Is there meaning behind it? I had the sudden image of a blue buck standing amidst the stones in a shallow river, just sort of surveying his surroundings and looking very...old, for his age. Naming dream, perhaps?
Why do you want THIS kimeti? I saw the babbies and immediately went O HAY BLUE, I LIKE THAT LAST ONE. Blue and cream (or it may be yellow?) is one of my favorite color combinations, and it's such a pretty shade of blue!
If you were a tree, which one would you be and why?I think I'd be a white birch. Aside from the whole "ice weasel" thing and the white bark, I really just find them to be unique. They're my favorite tree, but I guess in terms of me, we're both rather thin, and prefer August-September. White birch have no blooms, but they bear fruit in those months!
If you had to pick a song to be this kimeti's 'theme song' based on the name you picked, what would it be and why? Hrm. Orinoco Flow by Celtic Women. It reminds me of the constant want to explore. It sounds like a happy song, it sounds unstoppable and driven, which I imagine the buck being, but the bridges without any real words have such powerful instrumental parts that ride and ride until something soft and smooth and celtic. It makes me think of the beauty of the land, likely what this buck would see if I were to win.

If you were a tree, which one would you be and why? Ornamental Plum tree, because they're pretty and fun to paint or take pictures of biggrin and when their petals fall in the wind, it's beautiful
If you had to pick a song to be this kimeti's 'theme song' based on the name you picked, what would it be and why? Into the Ocean by Blue October, it's a calming song with a gentle feel, and i would model his personality to match. He'd always be calm, almost in a dream like state, and his mind wouldn't completely there, like he's unconscious, but he can still hear you and talk, just not always aware of his surroundings.

Once, there was a young man who wanted to join the army. When he finally turned 18, he signed right up, and soon enough was stationed in a desert camp. On the first day, he and the other recruits lined up in front of the general. Now, the general was strict, but he wasn't harsh. He took them on a tour of the camp, showing them the mess hall, the barracks, the medic tent, his tent, etc. But the soldier couldn't help but notice something was missing. He felt embarrassed about his question, so he waited until the tour ended before going up to the general to ask:
"Sir..If you don't mind, I'd like to know one thing...Where are all the women?"
And the general smiled and chuckled heartily.
"Well, son, I'll show you, just follow me" He said, with a wave of his hand. And so the two walked on and came to a structure on the edge of camp. A sign was above it's large doors and the name painted on the sign was "Isabella". The general nodded to the doors and said "This is where we go when we boys get lonesome out here." and opened the doors.
Inside was a camel. She was clean, and chewed on her cud. The soldier was appalled. They did WHAT? A camel!? He looked at the general, surprised as the man patted Isabella on the back.
"THIS is what you do?" he said.
"Well, yeah! What else would we do?" said the general, laughing. And the two left it as that, as it was time for sleep.
A few weeks later, the soldier was getting desperate. He could not contain his hormones any longer, and decided to pay a visit to Isabella. He slipped on his shoes and quietly left the bunkers. When he got to her barn, he slowly opened the door, entered, and shut it. Then he proceeded to drop his pants and do what he came for. As the camel started to make noise, the general suddenly burst in and, to the soldier's surprise, burst into laughter! The soldier, embarrassed and confused, asked:
"What's so funny! You told me this is what you do!"
And the general replied "No, you MORON, you're supposed to ride the camel into town!!"It's a fricken essay xD

Why would you pick that name? Is there meaning behind it? Because he looks like he's very glossy looking and blue and yellow are the colors of the sun and the sky. Plus it's a pretty name. Isn't it pretty? I was wondering if sunrises could actually be just yellow and blue.
Why do you want THIS kimeti? Because he will probably be gorgeous. And he's blue.
If you were a tree, which one would you be and why? Probably a mangrove tree, because their a very soft red color.
If you had to pick a song to be this kimeti's 'theme song' based on the name you picked, what would it be and why? Dawn Over A New World by Dragonforce from their album Sonic Firestorm. Because it just seemed to fit. It was soft sounding yet strong and I think it would display his personality well.

What would you name the buck if you won? Hunting Dragonflies
Why would you pick that name? Is there meaning behind it? It was a name I thought of for another contest, though I don't remember if I used it, but it's stuck with me. The idea of hunting, and possibly eating, dragonflies amuses me.
Why do you want THIS kimeti? He's a buck, and the light colors are attractive. I need more color variation in my herd.
If you were a tree, which one would you be and why? Eucalyptus. Because koalas would spend their time in my branches.

Why would you pick that name? Is there meaning behind it? Foxglove, also known as Dead Man's Bells, is a type of plant that is toxic, specifically to the heart. And that amuses me, because I suspect that Foxglove will, in fact, be a heart attack in a bottle. << Or in a Kimeti, I guess.
Why do you want THIS kimeti? because I think it's going to be ADORABLE!
If you were a tree, which one would you be and why? Paper Birch, because I feel like I'm the type of person to flake off and leave pieces of myself everywhere.
If you had to pick a song to be this kimeti's 'theme song' based on the name you picked, what would it be and why? Flagpole Sitta by Harvey Danger. I suspect he's going to be an absolute pain in the a**, mostly; I first heard this song while watching Disturbing Behavior, and the idea of it representing someone who people were trying to force into line but who chose not to conform sort of stuck with me.

Why would you pick that name? Is there meaning behind it? Don't you think the buck kinda looks *squints at the sac* turquoise & yellow? And the American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language defines 'lagoon' as a shallow body of water, especially one separated from a sea by sandbars or coral reefs. See. Perfect for this gorgeous lad, yes? 8DD Also, lagoons are so serene (only because he’s posing all the time) and not to mention, very pretty.

What would you name the buck if you won? Spangled Waters
Why would you pick that name? Is there meaning behind it? The way his coat is blue, except for his legs - which seem yellowish - makes me think of the way sunlight makes a glittery path across water, especially at sunrise or sunset.
Why do you want THIS kimeti? I LOVE kimeti bucks -- I think they're graceful and powerful looking, and this buck has a calm sort of personality that I like. It's evident even from his sack!
If you were a tree, which one would you be and why? A mimosa! Where I'm from they're called "silk trees." They're beautiful trees, they smell nice, and they have the amazing ability to grow and flourish wherever they're planted.

Why would you pick that name? Is there meaning behind it? The Bebe-sac reminded me of the ocean, and it made me ponder on the depths. This name I found suiting of the images it evoked. It makes me imagine a really deep tidal pool, all cold and blue and still, adorable little crabs and whatnot scuttling along the bottom.
Why do you want THIS kimeti?I would like to have a kimeti for every personality my little mind can imagine. I have a personality all picked out for this one. And he is so pretty!!
If you were a tree, which one would you be and why? I would probably be one of those crazy evergreens growing on the side of a cliff. It is stunted by the lack of soil and you have no idea how it is hanging on, but damn is it in a cool spot!

What would you name the buck if you won? Blue-Eyed Grass
Why would you pick that name? Is there meaning behind it? Blue-Eyed Grass is one of my favorite wild flowers, easy to grow it inspires life in the garden by bringing many different types of birds to feed on its seeds- who then spread them to other gardens. It's very small, delicate and beautiful (especially when the flower is viewed up close), it reminds me of a kimeti sac which are also delicate and beautiful, as well as important to the world of matope.
Why do you want THIS kimeti? His colors are beautiful and match the type of blue-eyed grass that grows around my home, and it makes me get a warm feeling seeing those colors... especially in the cold of winter. D:
If you were a tree, which one would you be and why? Malus domestica, or the Winter Banana Apple Tree. I've always liked apple trees, but this one is probably one of the more rarer in the orchards out here. So I've always liked them, especially because of the fun shapes they grow into when pruned.

For some reason, and I think it's because every time I hear the term "blue-grass", I think of All the Pretty Horses. Why would you pick that name? Is there meaning behind it? It's a graceful and delicate flower, as he would be.
Why do you want THIS kimeti? I really like the way he is colored, and I don't have any kimeti, but I've always wanted one.
If you were a tree, which one would you be and why? A Banzai tree because under the right conditions, after being groomed and trimmed correctly, they can become some of the most beautiful trees.

Do you go by any nicknames? Or shortened versions? DD, Darkmoon, Dancer, anything really ^^
What would you name the buck if you won? Waterfall
Why would you pick that name? Is there meaning behind it? I would pick this name because it fits with the personality that I have in mind for him. I would imagine him to be a complete pansy when not in contact with some form of water, and very twitchy and basically a nervous wretch. That is, until he gets in contact with water. Once there, he is calm, serene, and loves watching the shapes of ripples and the beautiful colors that bounce off of and shine through water, and the way it distorts the look of things. So he would only really travel when it's raining, or where he can physically step in water/puddles/streams/etc.
Therefore: water + rainfall = waterfall, which is a combo of the times that he is really himself.
Why do you want THIS kimeti? I would like THIS kimeti, because he is a beautiful shade of blue, and while I do have other kimeti, I do not have any that have more than touches of blue, and blue is my favorite color. I also have some interesting plots in mind for him ;D
If you were a tree, which one would you be and why? Arbutus. Why? Well because it lives on coasts, close to the water, and is always shedding. I love the water, and my hair is always shedding, much like dogs in fact xP, but i am also always shedding my long pants and long sleeved shirts in trade for my shorts and tank tops, so really, this tree is very much like me, and I am much like it.

I would chose this song because it has no lyrics, like he doesn't really have much to say, and it captures the feeling of happiness that he feels when he is around the water. That music IS the way he feels when he is at peace, and is happily submerged in h20.

Why would you pick that name? Is there meaning behind it? Well he seems to be blue that fades into yellow and makes me think of the reflection of the sun setting in the ocean.

If you were a tree, which one would you be and why? A tree huh.... well I've never compared myself to a tree but I suppose I might be a Japanese maple... My birthday is halloween so all of the leaves are turned red but Japanese Maples are red all year so that could be a reason and my parents planted one on my first day so yeah I have my own tree!
