The Department of Advertising is now Hiring. Note, I did not say "Recruiting" or "Accepting Applicants." I said "Hiring." That is because we, the mighty TOC-Dwelling Crew, have decided that We're going to offer
paid positions in the Department of Advertising.
Here's how the System is going to work:--Upon joining the department, one will be requested to select a position. A list of these follows after this description.
--Each position has a certain goal and focus. For example, Mission Primers. Their job is to find and prime missions. **SEE NOTE AT BOTTOM for Definition of "Prime"** Every time a Mission Primer primes a mission, he would be paid a certain amount of gold for doing it.
--The only obligation would be something along the lines of, if you don't do any work over thirty days' time, you're fired.
--You can quit at any time and it won't be held against you.
The different positions are as follows:The Artists are responsible for providing useful visuals (Or perhaps, audio?) to promote the league. Must be fairly skilled artists. Any artistic medium is fine, as long as it gets the job done.
--
Payment is High. The Lone-Wolf Advertisers are advertisers who work independently, recruiting members and spreading the word about the league. Must show skill with words, and the ability to answer difficult questions on the spot.
--
Payment is LowThe Tag-Team Advertisers are a new innovation: Two members who are capable of providing support for each other while simultaneously advertising. Must show restraint and the ability to keep from overloading the customer/recruit. Currently in development.
--
Payment is HighThe Towns/zOMG Specialists are exactly that: advertisers who specialize in recruiting through Towns and zOMG. Must be quick on the keyboard, know information well enough to bring it up quickly, and have an internet connection and computer strong enough to keep from lagging on Towns and zOMG.
--
Payment is MediumThe Mission Primers Are those who search for missions. They are responsible for everything from finding and approaching the client, to assisting them in filling out the mission application form, at which point the DWM takes over. They can work in any area of Gaia. Must know by heart all rules pertaining to missions, both in the GML, and on Gaia in general. Also requires skill with words.
--
Payment is MediumAs well, the most productive of all positions takes the Head-(Position) spot. They earn themselves a place on the Leadership Council, which makes decisions and such over the department, and they also earn Double Pay.
With that in mind, I now officially declare the Application portion Open. To apply, simply fill out the following form and post it here or in the Department Thread in the Mercenary League Departments Subforum.

*Note: Prime is a new term I'm trying out. In place of "Bringing in missions," one would say "Priming missions." I would very much like feedback on the term, positive or negative.*
